~KYOMI~

After watching my parents leave I turned to find Violetta, Dante's younger sister looking at me.

"Are you okay?" She asked as she approached me, concern written all over her face.

I forced myself to nod despite my fear of living here from tonight onwards.

"I can see how uncomfortable you are." She pointed out. "You don't need to be. I know you must have heard the worst things about our family but you should know that we protect what is ours. And from today you are a part of us, what I'm trying to say is, if you need a sister. I'm here for you."

I was surprised at how kind Dante's sister spoke to me.

I smiled. "Thank you." I whispered.

She may not know it but her words meant a lot to me. It even helped ease my anxiety a bit.

"My parents asked me to see to it that you're properly taken care off. They're a bit exhausted from the wedding today or they would have done it themselves." She informed me. "They also told me that they would like to talk to you tomorrow, after school. I think it's about your honeymoon."

I flushed at her words.

Honeymoon?

I'd completely forgotten about that.

And school? I'd also completely forgotten about that as well. For sure everyone would have already found out about my marriage to Dante and I was positive I'd be the center of attention tomorrow. I already had so much going on, this would just add to my frustration.

I tried to clear my head and not think about it. The only way to do that was to try and focus on Dante's sister in front of me.

"Is the honeymoon really necessary?" I asked shyly. It didn't seem to me like Dante would be interested in spending any time alone with me, not after his actions throughout the day.

"I mean if you don't want anyone gossiping further about this being a plan to save your father from anymore embarrassment, the honeymoon will be important to show to the people that you and Dante are indeed in love and this wasn't just some plot that our parents made up out of the blue." She explained.

She had extremely good points. Nothing would make this wedding seem anymore believable than a honeymoon.

"I understand." I finally responded.

She smiled before a frown appeared on her face. "I should also inform you that Dante won't be home tonight. He got called out on official family business and probably won't be back until you've fallen asleep."

That shocked me. He left on our wedding night? I couldn't believe it, he was showing to me just how much he didn't like having me as his wife.

Then why did he flirt with me in the first place? Was I just some fling that he'd planned on getting rid of after he'd gotten a taste of me? The more I thought about it, the more I felt betrayed and hurt.

I was always just a toy to Dante, a disposable one.
