89.1 My Little Sister and Little Brother Is Just Too Adorable

It was already ten days before the festival was going to start that the end of the election for the Saint Festival was done.

Alas, during that election, that pink-head – Irene – was causing all kind of trouble for everyone. For example, loitering by Elliot and Katrina’s side then suddenly butted in to their conversation, which resulted in her gaining Shelly’s ire. To top that off, the person herself still didn’t think she did something wrong.

Instead of reflecting on herself, she just pouted and glared angrily at Shelly without showing a single shred of remorse. AT ALL.

When Katrina showed consideration and invited her to join in their conversation, she blatantly ignored Katrina and only spoke to Elliot.

She had received numerous reminder from Shelly for her rude behavior that unbefitted her position as a noble lady, yet the pink head ignored everything Shelly said. And when Sonia tried to remind her using her way, through reciting the quote from the temple’s scripture to tell her that her act was unbecoming of someone who was aiming to become like Saint-sama, the latter just replied with, ‘Don’t worry about me, I’m different from you after all.’

Sonia was completely left at a loss for words when that pink-headed bull said that.

Even when the short tempered Ramona stepped up and berated her, she was completely unrepentant and uncaring. She even fanned Ramona’s rage to a higher height. Naturally, since none of the other girls could get through her, she also couldn’t catch the sarcasm Oriana threw to her.

Well, to begin with, she might not even realize that Oriana was being sarcastic.

However, what pissed me off the most was the fact that when Muriel, my goddess, mustered her courage to become that pink head’s friend… that fu*cking bi*tch blatantly ignored MY Muriel. And, as if that wasn’t bad enough, she even dared to look down on her.

ARGH! I honestly barely restrained myself from punching that annoying pink head’s face in.

In the end, Rex had to be the one who came forward whenever that fu*cking pink head caused trouble. Why? Because even after Shelly and the other girls remind her time and again, she completely ignored all of them like they were air.

Truly, that pink head was a serious nutcase. Only when Rex and Vince came forward to remind her that her attitude turned 180 and she delightfully listened to them. Not only him, but this applied to the other guys as well. Only when we came forward would she have that delightful obedient attitude.

However, when we saw this kind of attitude change, it honestly sent chill running down our spine. Us guys that was, while the female students’ enrage bar — and yes, this include Shelly — would shot through the roof. By this point, that pink head had literally made enemies left and right.

I doubted she even has any friend. After all, she even listened to Luke’s sarcasm and Simeon’s curses with a face full of smiles. Truly, there was not a single misgiving in my mind that this girl had a few screw loose in her head. After all, she SMILED.

With that said, due to her, Rex had now literally turned into a clerk who had to listen to his classmates’ complaints. Otherwise known in my previous life as customer care service personnel. Incindentally, this caused the scene of Shelly taking care of the physically and emotionally drained Rex a daily spectacle in the class.

Alas, everyone’s effort as well as Rex’s pain was in vain, because that pink head actually ignored Rex’s and everyone’s attempt to restrict her. In fact, she moved as she pleased without consideration to everyone else. She even carefreely went up to the 3rd year classroom to talk to Frederick.

Well, Frederick was a royalty, and he was the student council president too. On top of that, he was also a kind and handsome man, so it was only natural that he was popular with his peer and girls. Honestly, if it wasn’t for his rather problematic background, he would be placed on the top on the list of ideal marriage partner.

Now, that certain pink head freshman’s attitude had completely enraged the 3rd year girls, despite the fact that she also just happened to be the scholarship student. Truly, what an obtuse girl. Even though her action had banned her from entering certain floors… even though a few of the 3rd year students had specially make a visit to our classroom to announce that decision, that girl still didn’t think she had done wrong since she literally still had the gall to ignore her seniors while looking at Katrina with a smug face.

Although, I didn’t understand why she showed such an expression toward Katrina… Did she has some sort of one-sided rivalry with her? If so… she hadn’t even won against Katrina at all, yet she actually made that triumphant expression….

Eh? Me? Did I do something to her for making my sweet Muriel depressed you ask? Unfortunately, I couldn’t do that due to that bi*tch situation. As such, I simply avoid situation in which I had to talk to her.

It was not only me, but Elliot as well. Perhaps feeling the same way, whenever that pink head was fluttering around him, he just looked at her in complete silence, showing zero intention to talk to her. I suppose the matter of him speaking to that pink head during the flower viewing was an exception huh.

Anyway, just like that, in just less than a month after the entrance ceremony, that pink head successfully gained the title “Problematic Student” from every single member of the current student body.

Nevertheless, the academy couldn’t kick her out since she had six attributes. Not to mention the magic she used during class literally rivalled that of ours. So, kicking her out from the academy would be a great loss for the kingdom. However, I got this feeling that unless we do something about her problematic personality, she might cause a great disaster for the kingdom instead of prospering it.

Alas, the teaching staffs had already given up on trying to correct her attitude, and bowed to Frederick, the student council president, for help in correcting the personality of that problematic pink head. In turn, Frederick turned to ask us for assistance.

Otherwise, did you really think we want to associate with that pink monkey?

Then again, in the end, the job mainly fell to Rex who had to hear numerous complaints about that pink head. His seriously weary expression as he took the job made me feel pity for him though.

Dude, I don’t think you have to be a yes man for this distasteful job.

Alas, the guy was too faithful to his job. Too faithful to the point it backfired on him. Although that was the good thing about him, I still think that this kind of job was too much for him.

Oh well, let’s buy his favourite blueberry tart from the famous cake store in the royal capital after this. I hope it’ll heal his fatigue after he eat the sweets.

Before the Saint Festival was held, the academy gave us consecutive holidays. Most student would return back to their home during this holiday. Well, this was limited to those with mansions in the royal capital that is. After all, preparation was needed for setting up the festival. Thus, a consecutive holiday was given, causing everyone to enter a festive mood.

And today was precisely the first day of the consecutive holiday we were given. So, I returned to our family mansion in the royal capital along with Richard.

“Welcome back, dear brother.”

Wendy came out to greet me at the entrance of our mansion. It seemed like she returned earlier than me considering her attire had already changed from her uniform to her everyday clothes.

I had to say, Wendy who turned twelve years old this year had grown into a really adorable girl. Her small face was framed with straight long blonde hair without a single wave, the never changing gentle smile tugging on her mouth… it was no exaggeration to call her a delicate elf girl!

Honestly, it wasn’t just my imagination that she looked more and more divine nowadays. Then again, she was my little sister after all.

Furthermore, she was also really popular in the academy no thanks to her gentle smile and personality. People literally flocked toward her to ask for a dance during the party. She was so popular that I had no choice but to allow her to dance with them. Of course, both my father and I had to approve the people who wanted to dance with her first before we allow that.

“Big Brother Theo~, Big Brother Theo, Bis Sister is a saint! She’s awesome!”

The pitter patter of a little girl running resounded the air and that little girl dived toward me. Seeing that, I immediately raised my arms in a hurry to catch her. Who was this little girl you asked? She is our youngest sibling, Carol, and she has just turned five years old this year.

Unlike Wendy, though it’s also long, Carol’s hair was curly instead of straight. As such, it was very easy for her hair to become coiled around and messy. However, thanks to regular maintenance, her curly hair became more beautiful and easier to manage. Anyway, due to that very curl, Carol had the same twin-drill hair style like Katrina. Alas, unlike Wendy, this hair style suited her.

“Geez, Carol. Jumping ahead without greeting Big Brother first is bad,” Wendy reminded her adorable sister with a sweet smile on her face.

“Being chosen to bear the Saint role is really amazing, Wendy. And I’m really glad that you tell me such a good new first, but it’ll be better if you greet me first next time, Carol. So, where’s your greeting for this big brother of yours?”

When I tried to tease her, Carol made a dumbfounded expression on her face before she descended from my hug in a hurry. Then, she stood in front of me and pinched the cuff of her skirt, bowing lightly to me.

“Welcome back, Big Brother Theo. Carol is really happy to see you safe and sound.”

“I’m home, Carol, Wendy. I’m really happy to see you two safe and sound too. Wendy, congratulation on being chosen to bear the role of the saint in your freshman year. Although, I am pretty much certain that you’re the best choice for that role.”

“Geez, please stop teasing me like that. But, the same goes to you, dear brother. Congratulation for being chosen to bear the role of the Six God in the main festival.”

“Is that true, Big Brother Theo?! Congratulation! Now I have more things to boast to my friends!” Carol said as she hopped around happily.

However, what she said had me concerned. I didn’t think it was a good thing if she overdid her boasting in front of her friends. She might lose them and become sad, or God forbid, depressed!

“Carol, are you really happy to be able to boast in front of your friends?”

The moment Wendy asked that question, Carol awkwardly shut her mouth. Well, it seemed the person herself realized that it wasn’t a good thing.

“Carol, you know that doing such a thing isn’t good, right? Furthermore, about such stories as well. I think it’s much better if you never say a word about those matter.”

“That’s right, Carol. Since the one chosen isn’t you, you’ll eventually embarrass yourself,” Mother said as she came out from the hall.

Even though she was over fourty years old by now, my mother looked as youthful as ever. As expected of Mother.

“Ye~s,” Carol said with a pout, unable to resist after the three of us cautioned her.

I knew that she was rather reluctant to do this, but boasting about her siblings would only bring her a lot of trouble later. Still, she would be come to understand this soon enough, so I should be overy worried.

“But, thank you, Carol. I’m really happy to see you that delighted about us being chosen.”

Carol’s mood immediately turned to the better, and she was back to her cheerful self the moment I said those words.

“Geez, Big Brother is doting Carol a bit too much,” Wendy said with a wry smile on her face when she saw me comforting Carol.

“Haven’t I also doted Wendy a little bit too much too?”

“Well, but I know that the one that Big Brother dotes the most is Big Sister Muriel. Still, this and that is a completely different matter. Listen, Carol. You must not brag too much, otherwise, your friends are going to leave you.”

Perhaps because she kept being reminded about this matter, Carol nodded in understanding. Meanwhile, seeing Carol being such an obedient and good girl, I patted her head… and Wendy’s head too.

On the other hand, Mother only smiled warmly seeing her daughters’ smile.
