I'll Tell You Every Day

Nao Nao was a very smart and good boy. Wang Jing had hired a trainer for him and while Daiyu went to school to study, Nao Nao studied hard too. Because Daiyu wanted to bathe her Nao Nao, Daiyu had learned how to bathe herself too! She would play with Nao Nao in the tub and the Xiao twins would dry them together after bath.

Now that Nao Nao had been trained, Daiyu had pestered her grandfather all week and he finally allowed the dog to sleep with her in her room. Because of that, Daiyu would excitedly read him a story every night, just like how her Jin-gege did for her! When there were words she couldn't pronounce or understand, she would mark them with a circle and ask her Uncle Tang the next day.

While they didn't plan for it, it appears that Nao Nao had spurred on Daiyu's growth.

"You you can't come inside the mansion with dirty feet, Nao Nao! Uncle Tang will get angwy!"

Butler Tang watched as Daiyu scolded the dog for things he used to scold her for. He chuckled. His little young mistress was growing up.

Before long, it was finally June, the time for Daiyu's birthday!

Of course, this year as well, Wang Jing had spent a great amount of time, money, and effort on her party. This year, the theme was Beauty and The Beast. Daiyu went as Belle while Nao Nao went as the Beast. Butler Tang had arranged for Nao Nao to wear a costume as well and the dog obediently carried around a red rose on his doggy suit.

Like last year, the children invited were instructed to wear costumes again. This time, Liu Jin went as Aladdin while Zhihao went as Pinocchio.

" Pinocchio? Really?" Liu Jin asked sarcastically.

"Because I'm loooooooooong-OUCH!"

Liu Jin had elbowed him before he could finish his sentence.

Last year, Daiyu received coupons from her Jin-gege. This year, she received an even better gift. A summer trip to the countryside! Daiyu could finally go on a real camping trip!

Of course, Zhihao gave her a gift too. Last year, he gave her a ribbon set to tie her hair with. This year, he gave her another hair tie set but with pretty gems this time. He was going to make this a yearly tradition!

Finally, Daiyu's party came to an end and the children returned to school to face the dreaded time of the year: year-end exams.

Liu Jin had no problems with his grades. Daiyu was doing okay as well. While she was not very smart, her private tutor had helped her keep up with school and she had no red marks.

Zhihao, on the other hand, well, let's just say that he was hanging onto the red line like his life depended on it.

"Jin-gege! Will Jin-gege not help Zhihao-gege?" Daiyu asked as she observed Zhihao wailing in front of his books.

"Xiao Yu, if Zhihao gets held back, it means that you will be classmates next year. Don't you want that?"

Daiyu's eyes sparkled.

"Zhihao-gege! Daiyu will pray for you to fail! Daiyu will pray hard!" She huffed proudly.

"WHAT?! JIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNN DON'T BE SO HEARTLESS!" Zhihao continued wailing but Liu Jin ignored him.

"Xiao Yu, if we become classmates, it means that no one will look after your Jin-gege anymore. What if he looks for a side chick? Aren't you worried?!" Zhihao began planting ideas onto her head.

"Chick? Daiyu loves chicks!" Her eyes sparkled.

"Side chicks are bad, Xiao Yu! They work to steal your man away from you!"

A vein started throbbing on Liu Jin's head as he listened to Zhihao.

"Steal?" Daiyu tilted her head to one side.

"That's right! And with the way your Jin-gege is so obsessed with boobs, they can just flaunt their cleavage on his face

"ZHENG. ZHI. HAO!!!"

"JIN!!! HELP ME PLEAAAAAAAAASE!" He knelt in front of Liu Jin and began begging.

When he noticed that it wasn't working, he turned to face Daiyu and secretly whispered something into her ears. Daiyu then knelt with him and began begging Liu Jin too.

"Jin-gege! Please help Zhihao-gege!"

"X-Xiao Yu"

Daiyu looked up to him with big sparkly eyes.

"O-okay. I'll help him."

"YES!!! NO BACKSIES!"

And with that, Liu Jin began tutoring Zhihao every afternoon.

"Are you an idiot?! How did you finish primary school in your past life?!"

"I DON'T REMEMBER!!!"

Daiyu stayed with her big brothers, studying hard as well. Nao Nao would sit by Daiyu's foot, silently supporting her.

After a week of intensive review, it was finally time for the exams. Liu Jin and Daiyu did well and surprisingly, Zhihao had passed all his subject this time around.

Victoria was overjoyed with the news that she held a grand party in their residences to celebrate the news. Zhihao's dad was very pleased as well. He congratulated Zhihao by buying him the latest game console and the bicycle that the boy had been pestering him to buy.

"Dad! Dad!! You're the beeeeeest!!!" Zhihao tackled his father with a hug.

Zhihao's dad was a strict but supportive father. While he didn't expect Zhihao to do well in class, he had at least hoped that his idiot son would pass his exams. And when he did, he was very proud of him.

Of course, Wang Jing was very proud of Daiyu as well.

"Xiao Yu, grandpa is working on a surprise for you."

"R-really?!" Daiyu's eyes widened and sparkled.

He chuckled.

"Mmm. But it's not ready yet. Wait for a bit more, okay?"

"Owkay!" She obediently nodded.

Over at the Liu Estate, Nana was delighted as well. Liu Jin had finished at the top of his class, after all.

"Jin."

Liu Jin turned to face his father.

"Pack your bags. We're going on a trip this weekend."

"Okay." Liu Jin nodded.

"But will mom be okay? Won't it be dangerous for her to be travelling?" He asked.

"She's not joining us."

" Huh?"

"We'll be going. Just the two of us."

Liu Jin tensed up.

" M-Mooooooooom! Dad is being weird again!"

And with that, all three children were scheduled to move up a grade for the next school year. But before that, there was one last party at school, one that was held to celebrate the end of the school year.

"Xiao Yu, you ready?" Zhihao asked and Daiyu nodded.

"Alright, here we go!"

Liu Jin waited inside the Wang Mansion living room. He was here to pick Daiyu up for the party.

He wore a dark blue three-piece suit paired with the same colored shorts, some knee-high socks and tan wingtips. His hair was combed back and he had with him a bouquet of white roses.

Perfect!

Soon, he heard small footsteps running towards the room.

"Jin-gege!" Daiyu came running to him excitedly.

She wore a sparkling royal blue dress with a puffy skirt and off-shoulder bell sleeves paired with pearl white kitten heels. Her hair was styled in soft large curls and she wore a pearl headband. Her cheeks had a light blush and her lips had a pink gloss.

Liu Jin blushed.

'S-so cute.' He gulped.

"X-Xiao Yu H-here!" He handed her the bouquet of white roses.

Daiyu giggled and kissed his cheek.

"Thank you Jin-gege! Jin-gege is very handsome!"

Liu Jin blushed even more and shyly scratched the back of his head. Zhihao, who stood by the living room entrance, had managed to capture the moment in a photo.

Surprised by the flash, Liu Jin turned his head and saw Zhihao.

He wore a light gray suit paired with shorts and knee-high socks just like Liu Jin. For his shoes, he wore black oxfords and his hair was combed to one side.

"So? Isn't Xiao Yu beautiful?" He proudly bragged.

He was her stylist for today. He had promised to help her in exchange for asking Liu Jin to help him with his review. Of course, he had his mom style Daiyu's hair and makeup but he picked out her dress and shoes himself.

"B-beautiful." Liu Jin looked down and blushed.

Daiyu giggled and held his hand.

"Let's go, Jin-gege! Daiyu wants to dance!"

for visiting.

"Okay." Liu Jin smiled warmly.

With that, the three children left the mansion. The party started at six and ended at nine in the evening. For the higher years, the party would end at about twelve midnight.

Daiyu clumsily danced with her Jin-gege all night and he patiently indulged her. Zhihao, on the other hand, was enjoying the spiked punch prepared by the senior high students.

After a night of fun, the children finally went home to enjoy the start of their summer vacation.

However, before that, Liu Jin had a trip scheduled with his father first.

The next day, Nana and Honghui sent Liu Jin and Shuren off at the airport. Nana had worked hard to prepare matching outfits for the father and son. She was so happy when Shuren told her that he was taking Liu Jin on a trip that she couldn't sleep last night! After all, it felt like a dream to see Shuren taking the initiative to bond with his son.

"Be a good boy, okay?"

Liu Jin nodded.

"Have a good time with your dad" Nana kissed his forehead and smiled.

"Give him a chance to show you what a father is like."

Liu Jin paused, taking in her words before nodding.

"Okay, mom."
