Chapter 2 - [Status]

Loud cheers and spirited shouts rang unceasingly beside him when he came to his senses after he was pulled forcefully into that mysterious black hole.

As soon as he became aware of his surrounding, various informations entered his mind, such as about his current temporary identity in the Dungeon world of Valvrave The Liberator and basic things about Pandora System.

"Huh, this... this scene looks like the beginning of Valvrave the Liberator Season 1 anime, when Haruto and Shoko are having an eating competition... I really end up here..."

Furthermore, as long as I can remember, there are only six Nw507Be Manned Waffe mechas that will attack this place, Module 77. So, I only have six targets to kill, with 14 people remaining to kill to complete the Basic Mission.

Adding L-Elf and his friends, then it will be only 9 more to kill. Even so, I don't think I can kill L-elf and his friends of Karlstein Institute with my current ability, so they can be excluded from my target at the moment.

Moreover, the assault is likely to happen at afternoon and night later, while the time now is at 8 AM morning, so my time limit is only until tomorrow morning at 8 AM.

"Are you really angry because Haruto lose to Shoko, Rafi? Hahaha!" Kyuma Inuzuka patted his shoulder as he tried to laugh it off, thinking that Rafi was still being angry toward Haruto.

Their questions brought his mind back as then he saw that Haruto, Shoko, Aina, Inuzuka and other students looked at him, as he kind of stood out with him being silent all along and seemed angry after Haruto lost to Shoko.

"Ah, sorry, I have only thought of something before... So, who won, Haruto or Shoko? And where are the others?" Rafi brushed it off with an apologetic smile, assuring them that he was not being angry toward Haruto.

Looking at his reaction, other students laughed a little as they realized that there was another odd ball beside Shoko around them, as he could even stay in deep thought despite that loud clamoring noises from before.

"Ugh, you really don't pay attention to your surrounding just like usual, Rafi. You should be aware of it, really, otherwise you may die without knowing why later..." Kyuma Inuzuka scratched his temple in frustration as he advised him earnestly.

'So, the setting of my identity here doesn't differ much from my usual habit huh. I guess that scanning did it job perfectly.'

"Ahaha, I will try."

The group were laughing as they went to class together, smiling carefreely, unaware of the incoming attack from Dorssia, except for a person that was also hard-pressed for life as his existence depended on the incoming attack.

That said, if I choose other sides, then I will not get this ability then. I guess I am pretty lucky. Although, I don't think the System won't give Participant another good things if Participant chooses another sides. Maybe it can be stat enhancement buff or something else...

Even so, with this ability, I don't need to worry about suddenly dying due to an incompatibility when I am piloting Valvrave.'

'Then, now, how to assign my undistributed stats?? My attributes are pretty much balanced already, do I need to keep the balance or I focus on one particular attribute?'

From the informations he got at the beginning, Rafi understood about what each of his attributes signified.

STR affected the explosive strength one could muster at any moments.

INT affected one's information processing capability. The amount and complexity of informations that one could process at any moments.

PHY affected one's physique, toughness and its ability to endure hits. This attribute directly affected HP.

AGI affected one's motoric movement speed.

SPI affected one's capacity to use any supernatural and spiritual abilities. This attribute directly affected MP.

'Hmm... ok, let's put 20 stats at AGI, 10 stats at each of SPI and PHY, 5 stats at each of STR and INT.

If possible, it is better to evade hits rather than tanking any hits. Though, I can't really neglect my physique attributes, because I get a feeling that it will be a good boost for my Runes when I am piloting Valvrave.'

As he assigned his undistributed attributes, he could feel his body seemed like being warmer at each passing moment, accompanied by a refreshing feeling as though he was being cleaned by a clean and cool water from head to toe.
