Ding! Ding! Ding!

The ringing sound of bell signaled the that class was over as it approached afternoon time in Module 77.

Although the darkness of outer space didn't have a concept of time, but artificial sun of Dyson Sphere technology could simulate day and night circulation time inside it, thus enabling human to gain a foothold in outer space, expanding their domain from Earth to reach out to the vastness of space.

As the class was over, students started to disperse, leaving the classroom when Rafi was still sleeping on his desk until everyone left.

When the classroom had became empty, a slender hand suddenly patted his back, waking him up from his sleep.

"Wake up, lazy boy!" A girl's voice sounded rather coldly as she woke him up forcefully.

"...uahh...hm, you are still here, Rukino-san? And why are you waking me up? Huaahh, and when I have a good dream just now..." Rafi woke up lazily as he replied to her while yawning occasionally.

His response caused several black lines appeared on her clear forehead as she couldn't hold herself to beat him awake.

"Let's help them cleaning the temple! I can't find anyone else and you are pretty much free aren't you?!"

"Aha, I understand now. So you want to use me as a pretext to help them, saying to them that I asked you to help them with me... while your true reason is to avoid your supplementary lesson aren't you, Rukino-san?" He said with a knowing smirk as he remembered that she should have an extra PE lesson in swimming pool with other students at this time.

'Even so, it is a good thing that I don't sleep my time until the attack. At least I don't need to wake up groggily during the attack.' Rafi thought in his heart as he saw the surprised look on Saki Rukino.

"Y-you... how can you know?! Are you a stalker?!" She asked surprisedly while giving him a wary glare.

"Well, just say that I have my own source. But, yeah, let's get going if you really want to help them, or else, Nanami-sensei will send someone to fetch you, maybe..." Saying that, he stood up as he walked to the door, leaving her behind as he took a glance at the dimming of Dyson Sphere's artificial sun. Saki Rukino followed him behind, maintaining a certain distance as she was still wary of him, thinking that he was one of the stalkers that would keep pestering her just because she was an idol.

As the time of attack was approaching, Rafi couldn't help but to feel his blood getting hotter while an inexplicable feeling started emerging inside his heart, and strangely, his mind kept getting clearer... and colder... as he steeled himself to kill fellow humans for the first time in his life.

Looking at his back, Saki Rukino could feel that he seemed to have something in his mind, while his aura seemed getting colder slowly, giving her a slight chill as she didn't know whether it was real or wasn't.

"Hm, you are so slow, Rukino-san. If you are so slow, I will leave you behind, you know." Rafi snickered as he looked behind at her and started to jog a little.

Though, with his current agility at 33 points, his little jog seemed like a run to Saki Rukino. Because an a.d.u.l.t human speed's stats, on average, were at 15-20 points.

"...I don't think such lazy man like you could run like that! Wait, if you leave me behind, then there goes my pretext!!" Saki Rukino shouted lightly as she called out to him, while thinking to herself, 'Maybe that chill I have felt just now was only my imagination.'

When the two arrived at the temple, some distance away at the back of school ground, they found Shoko Sashinami was still grumbling angrily about something while the other three of Kyuma Inuzuka, Aina Sakurai and Haruto Tokishima were trying to calm her down.

Noticing Rafi and Saki Rukino arrived and seeing their perplexed expressions, Inuzuka smiled wryly as he explained why Shoko was like that. Though, her grumbling suddenly stopped as she was slightly blushing when Haruto thanked her for being angry for his sake.

The group of six people then started cleaning the area around that temple. Gradually, they were separated into three groups, with Haruto and Shoko were still cleaning area around temple, while Inuzuka and Aina, Rafi and Rukino were cleaning further places separately in opposite directions of the temple.

Boom!!

As they were doing the cleaning calmly, a low but deep explosion sounded suddenly from a certain direction, accompanied by a tremor that reverberated inside Module 77. The afternoon light that previously shone quickly dimmed, changing into a night sky as Module 77's Dyson Sphere was breached, startling everyone at the sudden happening.

"This?! What is happening now?!" Saki Rukino saw that the sky changed into night time as howling sounds of flying Mechas intruded into the scene, started to fire its weapons so as to immobilize Module 77's Defense System.

The battles between Dorssia's six Nw507Be Manned Waffe Mechas and JIOR's Air and Ground Defense System were going heatedly. Laser beams were shot repeatedly as they intended to take down the other sides in a rush, leaving ruins and collapsed buildings as their aftermath. Some unlucky people were killed in their exchanges, whether by direct shot or by the collapsed buildings, while those who survived were looking for any shelter they could find at that critical moment.

"...it is almost the time... I must get to that place first." Rafi murmured in low voice as he then started to run in the direction of school ground before saying to Saki Rukino, "Tell the others that this place will be a battlefield, Rukino-san. You should go back to the gym with the others. At least your safety will be safe there."

Not waiting for her reply, he dashed quickly, leaving her who was slightly panicked behind.

"Hey, where are you going?!" Saki Rukino couldn't help to stomp her feet in anger as he ignored her, leaving a fair lady like her amidst the chaotic moments.

Even so, his reaction to that sudden event aroused her curiosity so much so that her fear was suppressed slightly as she couldn't help herself to run in his direction, following him albeit with her slower speed.

When Haruto, Shoko, Inuzuka and Aina grouped together and didn't find Rafi and Rukino around the temple, they decided to go to school ground first to assemble with everyone as they hoped that the two already went there first, hoping that nothing bad happened to them.
