I'm A Vampire God?!

Chapter 34 - I Caught A Slayer!

After finishing her story, the girl began to shake as she said, "Now that I've failed, I'll be banished from the Society! Where do I go from here? I have no family or friends, only the Society. Now I don't even have that anymore." Visibly shaken up, the young woman, who introduced herself as Trix, began to bawl like a new born baby. I'd long clothed her with spare women's clothing from my inventory. Don't call me a pervert, you're the pervert, your whole family are perverts! Ahem. Anyway, it seems time that I throw my Po.. I mean bring this girl in under the wings of Nightblood! Bringing the girl in for a warm hug, I gently consoled her before saying, "We'd welcome you in Nightblood. Your knowledge and skill set would be quite handy to have. The only thing is that I will need you to swear a blood oath of fealty to me and I will also make you into a Progenitor Daywalker. The choice is yours, but decide quickly because we have to soon leave this place before the police arrive." Looking me in the eyes for a while Trix nodded her head and said, "I agree to your terms. Turn me and administer the blood oath!" Secretly cheering inside, I began the ritual and Trix, who will now be known as Matrix joined the ranks of my Progenitors. Now there are four. So be it.

Rushing out of the warehouse, I had Jelia call for a pick up and before long a helicopter landed on the open space next to the warehouse. Once everyone was inside, we made way to Mooncrown, and down to Nightblood. I must introduce Matrix to the guys. Calling them up, I asked them to port to HQ. Once in the throne room, Matrix was gawking at everything along the way and the throne room finally did her in. She was drooling like an epileptic, and muttering under her breath. Luckily I could see her loyalty, and surprisingly it was a staggering 90%. I wonder how I did it? Didn't she loathe me with her very being not too long ago? No matter, her past loyalties are just that, they're past. Sitting down on my throne, I passed the time reading my status when suddenly Shinji and Yusuke both finally arrived. Gesturing to Matrix, I said, "Brothers greet your new sister Matrix. She's a Progenitor like you. She's a new addition to our cause and comes with quite the package. Now go mingle with her and build a relationship. I have matters to attend to good bye everyone."

Swiftly reaching my portal, I ported to my dorm room before taking out my phone calling my estranged butler Teru. "Hello? Young master is it truly you?! I was certain that you'd forgotten the lowly me! How can I be of service to you my most noble master?" Ugh cringe. I make myself cringe to when I go into my God persona, but I can't easily help that. Clearing my throat, I said, "Yes actually, I have need of you putting up a young woman in my mansion. Her name is Matrix, please take great care of her. That will be all, I'll contact you with where and when to pick her up. Good day Teru." Ending my call there, I sighed before collapsing onto my bed. A lot has happened lately, and I have had little to no time to process it all. This world truly is overflowing with potential and chaos. You never know what tomorrow may bring. For all I know, I could wake up n.a.k.e.d in a bed full of beauties of myriad races, or even could wake up to a wedding ring on my finger and a blurry figure laying next to me on my bed.

I have many people to protect now, but I can't just molly coddle them, I need to train them into an almighty force of nature that will strike down any foe brave enough to challenge them. For that, I need generals, and many other roles filled. I'll be turning our gathering of races into a worldwide empire after all. I can't skimp on resources, nor can I avoid the time needed in order to see my great plan made reality. I'll need to assign Jelia and my buddies to delegate people for these roles. There'll be a competition to determine the winner of each role. That settles it, now to plan out the whole event.

In the middle of brainstorming ideas, I heard my phone ring and unfortunately it was Officer Yumi. I say this because I am certain of why she's calling, so I cleared her call. Feeling heart ache, a cooling sensation spread through my body and I was already recovered from the mental shock her call brought to me. I mean, Jelia managed to calm the public by telling people that I'm in the army, and they were from an enemy nation who'd come to assassinate me upon finding out that I would be performing a live concert for my debut. People ate up her answers like candy, and wagged their proverbial tales like good little doggies. However, I felt that the matter wasn't settled just yet and Officer Yumi's call confirmed things for me. For now I'm off to bed. I have been quite productive as of late so I truly deserve this nap. Before long I drifted off peacefully into dreamland.

*In a faraway land forgotten by men and mer..*

"So it begins. The first has awakened. I am second, and surely the others shall follow shortly. It is time that the demons and gods once more walked the mortal realm!" A rumble and peals of thunder followed this declaration as many statues began to stir and cast off their shells. The dawn of a new world is on the horizon, and a return of the old ones shall stir the pot. Who shall rise to the top in this new world? Only time will tell...
