Activating and mastering more meridians can not only boost abilities, but also change the way players set up skills altogether.

Because of the added bonuses that players can gain from the cultivation of Meridians, they can prove to be a mighty vantage in a battle with someone of slightly stronger basic skills.

Although he had decided to open all, he has to focus on the one that would improve his body stats for the present skills he had, anything that would increase his breath, spirit and strength. You cannot begin to imagine the amount of damage he could dish out with both boundless breath and boundless spirit.

Through this system, more players would be encouraged to do Script stealing event, as it would allow them to have a chance to gain access to another school's internal skills. By having that access, the player is able to train another Meridian to gain extra stat boosts that are not available through his/her own school's Meridian.

Meridians hold some great power, but take a lot of practice to harness it. Fighting and focus on one's skills can lead on the path to an even more powerful and faster Martial Arts Master.

There's also the set of people constantly leaving their sect in disguise to go find a way to get the d.e.s.i.r.ed cultivation inner, which was harder to get the needed requirements or the desperate ones who betray their sects to be named vagrants before joining another sect but you lose all cultivation, only upside is you still have the meridian open.

Eventually, an NPC appeared and promised returning 60% of lost cultivation. however, this increased the number of betrayals from players. after all having 60% is better than returning to nothing but the mortal realm(weak body and mind).

The entire Jianghu players was in an Uproar later when they found out this was a prelude before the demons and the demon cultivators (humans who accepted being possessed or took their path) invaded. it happened when majority of the player population had been in a recuperation period, trying to grind back their levels.

Another method was to use Manual of Core, gotten from exchanges with the treasure of Chao heng or the gluttonous hero Somewhere in Chengdu. each meridian had 5 Acupoints and each need a certain amount of cultivation points.

completing first Acupoint allows you to lvl up meridian to Lv 36,

the 2nd - lv 72

the 3rd -Lv 108

the 4th- Lv144

5th -Lv 180

6th - Lv 216

Meanwhile, the Cultivation points needed go as follows :

1st acupoints : 500000 cultivation points.

2nd acupoint : 1000000 cultivation points

3rd acupoint : 1500000 cultivation points

4th Acupoint : 2000000 cultivation points

5th Acupoint : 2500000 cultivation points.

There are two types of meridians, the normal ones used by sects and there's the reverse meridians/Hidden meridians used by the hidden sects and factions. the hidden meridians tend to have stronger boosts and effects, that's why they are harder to get since its only gotten by joining a faction or a fortuitous encounter.

[Luckily I fall under the latter, System use Qcp to unlock first Acupoint for Wudang, Beggar, and wanderers valley meridians. also use from the left over experience to level them to 36, Along with my recently acquired tianzhu ]

He didn't need to look through them as he knew their effects. Next was his lottery tickets, This one got him curious because he hadn't gotten the time to test it after he programmed it back then. The main reason he was curious was because he wanted to know just how much the System had changed from his original invention.

The rest were just pills or paper fragments or things he didn't remember ever adding.

Which with a clink! clink! it finally stopped on a section with a group of black shadow were on the picture making Xu Yun disappointed.

But not for long as he tossed the card into his inventory for later and Chose the Try again option without hesitation.

This time only Two things caught his attention, the first one was a recommendation token that allowed him choose any sect of his choice without any test. he remembers this was the only item that allowed people get back into a sect even after betrayal of his or her previous school, and from his memories you only get it after an unbearably long chain Quest.

This Token was a must for him as he didn't need to go to the scholar sect anymore, he didn't need yin manuals for now. besides his alignment had changed to Evil thanks to cultivating Star Vortex.

Alignment apparently don't only change due to your deeds, but also your manual and how you are perceived by others, Pets too can add to your Evil points too. Bai he is already at 'Lunatic'(Evil) added to cultivating star Vortex, making it turn into 'Nefarious'(Evil). He personally, had no evil points Not that it bothered him.

But looking at the glowing Purple Skull above his head, he couldn't help but smile wryly because this was his original alignment in the game anyways. the main point is if he joined a sect with a good Alignment and they noticed him, chances are he might be called a spy not to mention if he was unlucky and got spotted by any of those old monsters, he'd be in a bind.

Once again he gave the Command [Spin!], Which it proceeded to spin before he stopped it once again, Only this time it showed no mercy and gave him a single pill.

Disappointed once more, he started the next one with a black face but cheered up when he saw a Cash shop set from the game :Mozi Sword set and a hundred transformation fragment. but once again luck played a joke on him as this time when he was done spinning, he got another card but with a single Shadow and a Question Mark at the center making it look strange. On a distant hill A beautiful woman in black was sitting in a lotus position looking serene and peaceful when she abruptly opened her eyes [fool] as she gave a cold snort.

She was already fed up with Xu yunzao.
