Thomas heads down from his room to the dining hall where his family will be having lunch soon.

It is nearly two o' clock in the afternoon which is the designated lunchtime his mother has set for the family.

With the current status and profession of everyone, this kind of thing is rare, but when they are at home, aka Allens Mansion, they are to follow this directive to suffer her wrath.

This order was issued right after the Leviathan attack incident. And none of them, Terrence or Thomas have dared to disobey this since then.

Arriving in the dining room, His twins' sibling, Anna, and Damian are already in their assigned seat with his mother by their side making sure they don't misbehave or start another of their infamous fights.

Anna and Damian are now two years old and can run around pretty well for their age.

Since they can walk they have never been able to stay at a place for long. They are too curious and energetic to run around and find new and cool things.

It is very difficult to make them stay on their seat even when they are eating, because of their energetic nature.

When they saw Thomas has arrived they ran to his side, with a loud shout of " Thomas".

The arrival of Thomas has given them an opportunity to escape from the 'evil' clutches of their mother who stopped them from having fun.

And the two kids decided to grasp this opportunity.

The other reason for their enthusiasm was that he promised he will give them something good today.

Thomas bent on his knees and embraced the two happily.

" Were you two good and listened to mother?" He asked them.

The two nods like a robot and gave a not so discreet glance towards thief mother, hoping she won't tell him about their little misadventures.

" They have been good Thomas," Daphne assured him. Though she did laugh a little when she was saying this.

Alex gave his mother a knowing look.

He knows no matter what happens these two naughty kids won't stop causing a nuisance.

They seem to be ever curious and has broken many antique pots and vase which his father bought for display in that dangerous curiosity of theirs.

This incident has caused them a loss of tens of millions of dollars.

After suffering that loss, Terrence has sent the vulnerable antiques in storage and only durable ones are out.

They were often grounded because of such actions.

" So were is the gift you told us about Thomas if we behave?" Anna asked excitedly about it.

He placed his hands on their head to restrain them and calm them down before they go wild in search of their gifts throughout the house.

" You will get your gift after lunch. It takes time for it to reach here." He told them.

Although they were disappointed that they can not get their gift now, they were still excited about it.

" Say, Thomas, what is the gift you are going to give us?" Damian asked his cool elder brother.

" It will not be a surprise if I told you what it was, isn't it?" Thomas said with mischief on his face.

" Ohh," Damian and Anna said with a disappointed look on his face. They were sad that they cannot get their gift just yet.

He messed their hair which wasn't well-liked by the two kids.

" Let's sit down and wait for dad. You don't want to anger him, do you?" He said with a mockingly serious look.

The twins have a look of absolute terror on their face when they heard it.

They ran faster than a rabbit to their seats on the dining table and sat there with absolute focus. They don't dare to act childish or mischievous again.

They are as disciplined as anyone can ever be.

When they were attacked a few days ago, Terrence rushed towards them with the rage-filled face. The terror of suffering from the life-threatening attack and the impact of seeing his angry father is too much for their young mind.

They were greatly influenced by this incident and developed a healthy amount of fear for their father.

Thomas has often used that incident to make them disciplined. He likes to use these incidents so that they can get over that time.

Daphne looked at all of this and smiled at the actions of her children.

" So are the pests dealt with, Thomas?" Daphne asked with a smile but the sharpness in her eyes showed everything that needs to be said about her true feelings.

Thomas took his side on the other side of his mother.

The head position of the dining table belongs to his father, Terrence. His mother, Daphne sits on his right and Thomas now sits on his left after he has started to step on his own and started to create new things.

The twins, on the other hand, sat by Daphne side, showing they are still under her care and will not let anyone take them anytime soon.

" You know me, mom. I made sure those pests learned the lesson thoroughly before they are allowed to rest." He told his mother, and both of them knew the term 'permanently' is left out in the end.

" If you want, I can send you an abridged version of that to your computer." He offered his mother.

But she didn't say anything, content with her son for taking care of them.

Instead, she teased him by saying, "Your father took care of his side in just a couple of days but it took you around a week to deal with it.

He has been using it as a proof that you are still too young and cannot take over the corporation just yet. "

She was laughing while saying that. When she saw his confused look and decided to explain the cause of her laughter, " Since the day you stood up on your own foot I have been teasing your father about that matter.

I will use different evidence to show how great you are abd he might retire and rest now. You are there to deal with problems now.

It isn't a serious problem, but an inner joke between the two of us. I use your achievements as a way to make him think of retiring.

He uses your failure or similar things like now where be surpass you in getting results to show you still aren't ready yet?" She told him with a smile.

" Both of you are really having fun out of my life." Thomas said drily to which she just smiled.

At that very moment, his father Terrence entered the dining room and sat on his seat.
