Terrence after entering the room looks at his family, that is his wife Daphne and his children, Thomas, Anna and Damian and walks towards the high table.

Daphne, the love of his life and someone who he can give his life for any time, any place anywhere.

Damian, his youngest son who takes after him in all aspect. Whether it be looks, actions or even nature, Terrence feels like he is looking at his childhood self. A combination of smart, mischief and fun all bundled in the form of his youngest son.

Anna, his little princess who he has spoiled since she was born. He has fulfilled every little wish that she has whether it is realistic or unrealistic.

If it becomes a little unrealistic, his eldest son Thomas is around to help in achieving that.

Both of them, Terrence and Thomas has taken the term 'spoiled ' to a whole new level in matters related to Anna.

Daphne often states to the two, 'She will be a devil in the future with how these two kid minded a.d.u.l.ts are raising her. '

She only gave smart a.s.s comments but she has never made an effort to stop them.

And finally, Thomas. His pride and joy.

Thomas has inherited the best of both Terrence and Daphne.

He is smart, handsome, calm and patient like his mother, while he has inherited sharp mind, ruthlessness, love for family and the worldly views from Terrence.

The number of inventions he has created over the years is astounding. The number of things be showed them are enough to change the course of the world and take it into a completely new age.

He has even involved in medical field, mechanics and arms dealing too. He has made quiet a name in these field and rose to one of the top minds in these sectors.

Some of the things he has created using the new nanotechnology, is very astonishing.

After the incident with his brother abd sister, he has given everyone a shiny pendant which will protect them from any injury in the future.

Daphne and the twins took it for it was shiny and matched them. They aren't aware of its usage, but Terrence was there when Thomas showed its use.

The pendant possess some nanites which can absorbs the strong kinetic energy or any form of energy except the potential energy around them.

The pendant has a low level smart chip. It checks the status of its host ever so often when its host shows signs of distress, worry, fear or something else.

On that case the chip released nanites to protect the host from the threat around them.

This shocked Terrence.

A single nuclear fission cell on explosion can even bring down a multi-storey building easily.

And the two bombs together isn't a simple 1 + 1 =2 but an 11.

This can show the level of defense this simple pendant can provide to its host.

After that, Terrence was finally calmed down and he felt that he won't have to worry about his family's safety anymore.

After sitting on his head seat, he looks at the scared expression on his younger children face. This made him feel that he has dealt with them too easily.

He reigned his raging emotions which was fighting trying very hard to surface. He calms himself and said calmly, " Let's start eating."

On his words, the Allens were served food by the cooks around them. Unknown to all but Terrence, Thomas makes sure to run a scan through all the dishes served to his family, whether he is around or not.

If not then the result is passed on to Terrence who deals with the people who tried to poison their family appropriately.

They ate their lunch while listening to different activities of the twins today so far with a happy smile on their face.

At that moment, Terrence is reminded of where his son wants to visit, " Are you sure you want to head for Gotham tomorrow and inaugurate the hospital you have built personally?"

He has a worried look on his face. As someone who knows about the inner dealings of that city, he is worried that something will happen to his son or he may be involved in some matters he should stay out of.

Gotham City is the American City rife of crime and corruption.

Its history is shrouded with mystery. Though he knows that it is a city which is very different from that of any other city of the United States of America.

The Waynes who are one of the six founders of this city are the ric.h.e.s.t in the world, yet they were killed years ago and no one was caught.

This is enough to show that unless one possess enough strength, you cannot be safe in that place. Terrence knows his son is strong and will have many guards with him, but it doesn't make him feel comfortable.

It is also said that they do not allow the outsiders to develop well in the city. This action of opening a hospital may be seen as the entry of Allens in that city.

This will increase another person to contest this cake for and cut down the amount they can have for themselves.

They may use whatever method they have to push them out with talks if possible and use force if it is necessary.

So he is worried almost the entire city will be after his son.

Thomas who knows more about the interiors of the Gotham City.

He reassured him, " Don't worry dad. I will bring enough forces to take on an entire armed division on our own. As long as they don't decide to drop a nuclear weapon, nothing will happen to us. " he told them very proudly.

He knows just how dangerous his situation really is. Even though he has managed to build a hospital in Gotham with all the necessary permissions, he knows they are going to make an example out of him.

They even include the city council of Gotham. They all will try every method they can to destroy his foundation there and make him run away.

Thomas knows all this yet he dares to do this because of one important matter. There is something out there which he wants and is very good for his future path as a mage.
