In The DC World With A System

Thomas has arrived in the Test world for the past ten years. Instead of having a family like this DC world, he is an orphan. He also has the same name as the one in DC world.

His family died in a car accident when he was only five years old. In that accident, he was the only one who miraculously survived the incident. It is at every moment he arrived in this world.

Fortunately, his family were pretty well off and has made a will which made sure he won't have any problem until he has completed his education and graduated from a prominent university.

All his path was set. Surprisingly enough he was admitted to the same school in the same class as the protagonist of this world, David Stutler.

In this time, Thomas has become friends with Dave. There are times when he has to come forth and save his nerd friend from being bullied by the resident bullies of their school.

Thomas is not only smart but also physically fit which made the bully understand he cannot be angered. So, sometimes when Dave is alone he gets bullied.

Thomas has also discovered that since he has turned 5 in this world, whenever he goes to sleep he will have a book in the landscape similar to Merlin book of elements in this world.

In the past five years, From there he has learned how to use plasma bolts, inanimate small things to life, modify simple objects like a pencil and how to use the different elements at the small scale.

Currently, he can only use three magic fireballs the size of a tennis ball. As the magic he learned in DC world from Book of Arcane, there is no effect.

It seems he can use only those magic spells which he learned in this world. Similar to how the mages or sorcerer need the magic ring to use magic, Thomas has a platinum ring as a gift from his parents which has an etching of griffin and thunderbirds which served as a medium.

He is not Merlin's apprentice so he cannot use magic without a ring. This is another restriction in his task. I guess this made the objective to save Dave and defeat Morgan a bit too tough.

But in any case, the last five years have been interesting.

Today is a very important day. As to why it is important, today is the day when Dave gets Merlin's ring and two of Merlin's students get trapped for ten years.

This is also the moment which will help him get a clear idea of the strength needed to complete his task.

When he was in deep thoughts, Dave shook Thomas out of his thoughts and spoke, " Hey Thomas, Mrs. Jones asked us to get in the bus. What are you daydreaming about today?"

Dave was curious as to what made his smart friend be in a daze. It might be something interesting if he becomes like that.

Thomas wasn't going to reveal the future events to Dave and joked, "Nothing much just thinking if I should Betty ask to become my girlfriend since my best friend doesn't have the courage to take the step?"

Dave has a horrified look but controlled himself when he saw the look of mischief on Thomas's face. He and Thomas started to have a small childish fight.

Their fight came to a halt when their teacher called them out, " Stutler, Allens come inside the bus now or we will leave without you. "

This did the trick and the duo entered the bus. Their entry and appearance as in clothes being a bit singed made them a source of attraction and mockery.

When Dave noticed that even his crush Becky laughed at him, he felt that his entire world crashed down.

They walked up to their seats and sat down. After that the bus was onwards to its destination.

Thomas pat his shoulders and spoke out softly so only Dave can hear him, " Seize this chance to reveal your feelings or else, I will ask her. " Thomas warned his best friend.

" What? You don't dare." Dave shouted out anxiously thinking his friend may really do it.

His shouts once again made him the centre of the attraction for everyone.

" David Stutler, sit down now and dont cause trouble. " Their teacher Mrs. Jones scolded him.

"Yes Mrs. Jones"Dave apologized and looks at the other students laughing at his actions and him being scolded by Mrs. Jones.

He glared at his best friend who caused all this trouble. He warned him, " You better watch your back, Thomas. I will get back at you."

" Yeah right. So do you dare to do it, or should I do it in your stead? " Thomas challenged the future successor of Merlin.

Dave saw the look on his friends face and understood he is inciting him to take the step and if necessary he isn't afraid to act.

Dave was in deep thoughts until their teacher Mrs. Jones took them outside and explained them about the Statue of Liberty. They all sat on the stone stairs and listened to their teacher's explanation.

Dave braved himself and wrote something on a piece of paper. He then passed it on to the one in front of him and asked him to pass it on to Becky.

Dave and Becky looked at each other before she replied on the paper. Their teacher takes them to other places and walks away.

She then placed it by her side and follows the crowd.

" Go get it tiger. Meet your destiny." Thomas motivated him and walked towards the crowd leaving Dave to follow his destiny.

His words are double-meaning words.

As Dave walked away in pursuit of the piece of paper, Thomas senses there was a hint of magic at work. ' I guess this is the backhand of one of the greatest sorcerer ever. '

He followed the crowd. He kept his senses focused in the direction Dave has left for he knows soon there will be a fight which will help him discern the level of difficulty he may face in the future.

Suddenly, Thomas stopped sensing Dave and understood he entered the shop of Balthazar.

Becky suddenly appeared at his side and asked, " Where is Dave, Thomas?"

Thomas was startled and spoke, " Oh, that. That paper drifted away with the wind so he went to catch it. Don't worry. He knows his way around here. He can come back. " he tried to reassure her, more like doesn't want to involve unrelated people.

" What piece of paper, Mr. Allens?" Mrs. Jones heard their talk and asked about Dave's where about.

Dave didnt say anything about Becky but said an important piece of paper drifted away and Dave followed it to get it.

" When He gets back, Mr. Stutler will be having detention for the rest of the year? We have to get him. Where did he go, Mr. Thomas?" Mrs. Jones inquired him.

At that very moment, he felt a large amount of energy much stronger than what he can use before arriving in this world.

He turns to that direction.' This energy is released by collision of magic powers. Only that force can break the isolation barrier around the shop. ' he thought to himself.

" Its that direction then. Students follow me. We will first get Mr. Stutler and then continue our trip." Mrs. Jones declared and walked in the direction Thomas turned.

Just as expected, they met Dave in the way. His outlandish story, as well as wet pants, made him a subject of criticism when they didn't find anything out of ordinary.

Thomas pats his shoulder without any words and thought, ' I have ten years time to reach Archmage level or at least peak grand mage or else I will die and fail the test. They are both peak Grand mage, so Morgana must is an Archmage or Great Archmage.'

With that Thomas has a goal in his mind.
