IGK – Chapter 100.1 Empty, Cold, and Lonely (1/2)

Although Wang Ke was worried about facing the skeleton monster, he wasn’t as horrified as Bai Jin. He still had his final protection: the Indestructible Solar Divine Sword.

Since the situation had taken a turn for the worse, being terrified would be completely useless. At that moment he had to think about what to do.

What could he do? He could only drag things out as long as he could.

He hoped that his Revered Teacher would take notice of their plight in time.

“Hmm? You’re not afraid of me? What are you looking at?” the skeleton monster looked at Wang Ke and asked in surprise.

“I’m trying to figure out something… Where did the demon go after you swallowed him? Isn’t your abdomen long gone? Why didn’t he just fall out of your body after being swallowed?” Wang Ke said as he continued gazing at the skeleton monster strangely.

The skeleton monster: “……………………!”

Bai Jin and the others: “……………………!”

The ultimate demon is about to eat us all, including you, Wang Ke! But all you’re thinking about is his belly?Your brain either has nothing left or nothing right!

The skeleton demon looked at the place where its belly should be; there were only bones. That demon I ate really didn’t fall out; but what has this got to do with you?

“Hahahaha! Little brat, it’s been far too many years… You are the first who has dared to speak to me like this. Good, good! I shall eat you next!” the skeleton monster said with a chilling voice.

“Baaaam!”

But Wang Ke suddenly jumped toward the skeleton monster.

The leap actually unsettled the skeleton monster, who almost jumped up from the throne in fright. Wang Ke only jumped once though, stopping right after. It had been a rather strange move.

“Eh, I’m sorry. It’s my reflexes. I thought something similar would happen; I was afraid that a bone spike would poke my a** from the ground. That’s why I jumped; it was just out of reflex. You don’t need to be so tense, relax!” Wang Ke explained himself immediately.

The skeleton monster: “……………………..!”

Bai Jin: “………………………….!”

“Little brat, you’re sick of living, eh? Can’t wait for me to eat you up? Sure, I shall grant your wish!” the skeleton monster threatened.

“Booooom!”

Hundreds of bone spikes suddenly pierced out of the ground and moved toward Wang Ke.

“Hold on! I’ve got something to say. Hold on, please!” Wang Ke cried out.

The hundreds of spikes stopped midair and pointed at Wang Ke. The skeleton monster looked at Wang Ke with crimson-lit eyes, waiting for Wang Ke to speak.

“Senior, you must have been confined here for a very long time, right? Don’t you feel lonely after all these years?” Wang Ke asked.

“Hmm?” The skeleton monster was a little stunned by the question.

Bai Jin and the rest stared at Wang Ke. What’s this brat trying to do?

“Have you ever felt empty, cold, and lonely in the middle of the quiet night?” Wang Ke continued asking.

The skeleton monster: “……………………..!”

Bai Jin and the others’ jaws dropped. Wang Ke, do you really want to die?How can you use that ‘empty, cold, and lonely’ line on a man?Most importantly, the skeleton monster doesn’t even have the tool to feel empty, cold, and lonely!Are you trying to humiliate him?

(TL: “empty, cold, and lonely” is an internet term that usually describes a woman who wants a man to “Netflix and chill” with her)

“Senior, look. Shouldn’t you be happy since so many of us came down to see you? At least, we can try and make up for your emptiness, cold, and loneliness!” Wang Ke explained.

Bai Jin and the others felt cold shivers down their spines. This Wang Ke must be a pervert!How can we make up for the skeleton’s emptiness, cold, and loneliness?If you want to do it, do it yourself!

“You little thing, how dare you humiliate me?” said the skeleton monster with a threatening tone.

“Senior, why don’t you let me help to make up for your empty, lonely and cold days? It will be very interesting!” Wang Ke continued persuading.

Bai Jin: “………………………….!”

The skeleton monster: “……………………..!”

You want to help me?And it will be interesting?

The skeleton monster looked at his nonexistent pelvic parts and immediately felt humiliated. You brat, you must be sick of living! How do you even dare flirt with me?”

“I’m going to make you feel empty, cold, and alone!” the skeleton monster threatened.

The hundreds of spikes shot forth toward Wang Ke again—

But Wang Ke quickly flipped out a table with a set of Mahjong on top.

“Look!” Wang Ke urged, “This is the thing, called Mahjong! It’s very fun to play. We played it all the time, back on the Divine Dragon Island. Once you play it, you will no longer feel empty, cold, nor lonely!”

“Uhh?” The skeleton monster was taken by surprise. All the bone spikes froze in midair once again.

“So, you were talking about this all along?” Bai Jin’s said, slack jawed.

“Of course! What else were you thinking about?” Wang Ke asked doubtfully.

Bai Jin and the others glanced at the skeleton monster’s empty pelvis and then the table of Mahjong, lost for words.

“This is called Mahjong?” the skeleton monster asked with a deep voice.

“Yes, I invented it; it has taken the entire demonic sect by storm! All the demonic sect disciples praised the game after playing it! Senior, why not let me teach you how to play? I guarantee you won’t think about other games once you’ve played it. You’ll be unwilling to leave this place, even if the world comes to an end!” Wang Ke laughed as he grandly explained.

The skeleton monster: “……………………..!”

Wang Ke quickly explained the rules of Mahjong, while Bai Jin and his men were very confused.

Nevertheless, the skeleton monster had paused the massacre.

“Why don’t we play one round?” Wang Ke looked at the skeleton monster expectantly.

The latter was silent for a moment.

Wang Ke quickly capitalized on the opportunity created by the monster’s hesitation.

“Bai Jin, why are you guys still standing there? Come and play Mahjong with Senior! Or do you want to become his snack?” Wang Ke called out to Bai Jin and the rest.

“Oh! Coming!” Bai Jin responded and ran up to Wang Ke.

Given the circumstances, they would be willing to do anything as long as they weren’t killed.

The skeleton monster remained silent. He was too big to move the Mahjong tiles because of his massive stature.

“Stop looking around! Help Senior shuffle the tiles!” Wang Ke shot them a stare.

“Oh!” Bai Jin quickly started to shuffle the tiles, feeling unhappy in his heart.

Not once in his wildest dreams did he think he would play Mahjong with Wang Ke after all their conflicts.

“Senior, it’s starting!” Wang Ke signaled.

He was worried that the skeleton monster wouldn’t fall for the trick. Fortunately, numerous strand-like spikes formed a pair of hands and started to move the tiles.

“Green Dragon!”

“White Dragon!”

“Red Dragon!”

“I win!”

Some of the demons and the skeleton monster himself were immediately filled with enthusiasm as they played Mahjong.

The other demons who had intended to kill Wang Ke just then were bewildered. What is happening?How is it that you guys are playing Mahjong now?
