All those trapped inside the net, including Wang Ke, soon fell into the deep cavern.

“Nooo!!!”

“Help!”

“Nooooooooooooooooooo!”

A series of miserable shrieks could be heard deep inside the pit. The voices gradually faded until nothing could be heard.

More than twenty demons disappeared in the blink of an eye.

Only Tie Liuyun and Tong An’an were left in an impasse up above.

They recovered from the blinding light. Both were at a loss for words as they looked toward the deep pit nearby.

They’re gone?

All of them fell into the pit?

That’s the pit where the spiritual mountain suppresses the ultimate demon. No one who has fallen into it has made it back alive.

Tong An’an’s jaw dropped.

“Are they all fools? Four Golden Core cultivators and more than twenty higher Innate Stage demons were dragged into the pit by Wang Ke alone? All they all dumb?” Tong An’an was seething.

On the other hand, tears welled up in Tie Liuyun’s eyes. “Junior brother Wang Ke, it’s all because of my stubbornness! I should have listened to you! I should have fled first. I’m sorry! It’s all because I was too eager to have my revenge! You tried to keep all the others from hurting me and chose to perish alongside them? Junior brother, I’m so sorry!” Tie Liuyun mourned.

“Booooom!”

He wiped the tears off his face and resumed his fight with Tong An’an.

Meanwhile—the Inescapable Net dragged everyone into the bottom of the deep pit.

“Booooom!”

They crashed into a massive boulder.

“Pffftt!”

Bai Jin and the other demons spurt out mouthfuls of blood. Wang Ke, however, felt different. Although he didn’t know how dangerous the fall had been, he shifted his position midair out of instinct, placing himself above the demons. He was uninjured, since many demons landed first and softened the fall.

“Put away the Inescapable Net! You bunch of useless people. How could you fail in operating the artifact! The net is suffocating me! And it’s so freaking smelly! Quick!” Bai Jin cursed as he retched and spat blood.

“Swoosh!”

The Inescapable Net turned into receding strands and released them.

“Hummm!”

Someone took out a Luminous Bead and lit up their surroundings.

“Where is Wang Ke?” Bai Jin asked anxiously—

But no one cared about Wang Ke anymore. All of them were shuddering in fear as they observed their environment.

It was a cavern; an extremely clean cavern at that.

Red chains seemed to be immobilizing a monster in a corner.

The creature was three meters tall; it looked like a giant human skeleton, except for the countless protruding spikes. It was extremely unsightly; crimson radiance shone from the two eye sockets. Bloodied fangs also protruded from the skeleton’s mouth, from which waves of black Qi were coming out.

The skeletal monstrosity had chains restraining him all over its body; even so, there was something akin to a throne made out of countless boneheads underneath it.

That skeleton monster was sitting on the throne while immobilized by the chains. Nevertheless, it maintained a calm appearance; its crimson eyes looked at Wang Ke and the demons.

“Roar! It’s been so long since anyone came down to keep me company, kekekeke!” said the skeleton monster with a ghastly voice.

“The ultimate demon?” Wang Ke was taken aback.

“No, no!” The demons turned and tried to jump back up.

Unfortunately, they couldn’t fly back up, even with their flying swords. The cavern had a special energy field pressing them down, preventing anyone from flying back up.

“There’s a suppression array here, formed by the Heavenly Wolf Sect’s entire spiritual mountain. Even I can’t break free from it, yet you small fries are thinking about getting out? Kekekeke! I shall wait for you! Take your time and give it a try!” The skeleton monster laughed with a sinister visage.

Fly? Jump? All of it was useless. Even those who tried to scale up the wall were instantly dragged back to the bottom by a horrifying pressure.

The group of demons tried to avoid the skeleton monster while making several attempts to escape, all to no avail.

The horrifying voice of the skeleton monster was heard once again. “You’ve had your fun; isn’t it time to pick someone and offer it as a snack for me?”

Bai Jin’s face turned grim.

A demon knelt on the ground and shouted, horrified, “Senior, senior! We are all demonic sect disciples! We’re on your side! This has nothing to do with us!”

“On my side? Kekeke! No one is on my side!” the skeleton monster replied.

“Booooom!”

A bone spike shot up from the ground and impaled the demon. The point exited through his mouth; it was a terrifying sight to behold.

The bone spike stretched as it dragged the dead demon toward the skeleton monster, who then opened its mouth.

“Nom!”

The skeleton monster swallowed the demon whole.

“Kraaak! Kraaak!”

The chewing sounds terrified them all; Bai Jin and his men were in utter despair.

“No, no! Wang Ke, it was you; it’s all because of you! We’re going to die because of you!” Bai Jin roared in despair.

The one who had just been eaten was a Golden Core cultivator; even someone like him didn’t stand a chance in front of the ultimate demon. We’re dead meat!

Wang Ke ignored Bai Jin and continued to look at the skeleton monster; his eyes were full of curiosity.

“Hmm?” The skeleton monster looked at Wang Ke and asked, “You’re not afraid? What are you looking at?”

“I’m trying to figure out something… Where did the demon go after you swallowed him? Isn’t your abdomen long gone? Why didn’t he just fall out of your body after being swallowed?” Wang Ke said as he continued gazing at the skeleton monster strangely.

The skeleton monster: “……………………!”

Bai Jin and the others: “……………………!”

The ultimate demon is about to eat us all, including you, Wang Ke! But all you’re thinking about is his belly?Your brain either has nothing left or nothing right!
