Wang Ke tried to persuade them, “Please, both of you! Calm down, at least do it for me. How about that?”

Zhang Zhengdao had a strange look on his face after hearing that. Is Wang Ke trying to convince them to not fight?But they’re here because of you; what’s the use of you doing that?

“Brother Wang, it’s not that I’m being rash with my words. Everyone here knows my character. When have I been angry before? But Murong Luguang is really too much! How dare he slander you in front of everyone!” Tie Liuyun said indignantly.

“I did not slander him! The West Wolf Hall’s people investigated him; that’s why I’m here to question him!” Murong Luguang explained himself.

Wang Ke analyzed and said, “Oh, so it means that the West Wolf Hall thinks I’m suspicious, and they’re using you as a weapon against me? My second senior brother helped in putting a stop to it before it happened. So, it seems like the West Wolf Hall is to blame for all of this…”

“Hmm?” All the disciples realized something was wrong.

“The Heavenly Wolf Sect consists of four Wolf Halls, each with a specialized duty. The East Wolf Hall’s main task is to slay demons and protect the sect! Both guarding inside and warring outside!” Tie Liuyun explained.

“I’m the Southern Wolf Hall’s head disciple. Our main duty is to recruit disciples! Most of the Heavenly Wolf Sect came into the sect through us!” Tie Liuyun continued to explain.

No wonder! Wang Ke nodded.

Murong Luguang’s popularity came from slaying demons during battles! Since he was the fiercest of them all, most disciples had turned into his followers.

Everyone was waiting for Bai Jin to speak up.

“No, he’s not just doubting your judgment; he’s also doubting the Sect Lord’s judgment. The Sect Lord personally rescued Wang Ke. You’re saying he couldn’t have distinguished whether Wang Ke was a demon, but you can?” Zhang Zhengdao commented mockingly.
