IGK – Chapter 99.1 The Skeleton Monster (1/2)

Wang Ke broke off some of the cage bars and ripped an opening. He found the right timing to flee, all while the enemies were trying to figure out what happened!

They were on their own turf, the Heavenly Wolf Sect; everything would be over once they escaped the cave and called for help!

“Second senior brother! Why are you just standing there? Run!” Wang Ke shouted after he started making his way toward the cave entrance.

“Don’t let him get away!” Tong An’an shouted.

“Roar!”

Bai Jin and the other demons jumped toward Wang Ke.

“Second senior brother, quick!” Wang Ke ran ahead and cried out.

Damn it. I’ve already run so far. What is he doing?”

“Booooom!”

Wang Ke turned around and saw his senior brother fighting against Tong An’an.

Wang Ke: “…………………..!”

Why are you battling the demons now? None of the demons will be able to escape the moment we get out of here! Second senior brother, has hatred blinded your eyes?

If something bad happens, you will die here!

Unfortunately, his senior apprentice was determined to take revenge against Tong An’an. Wang Ke had no other choice but to make a run for it on his own.

“Block his way! After him!” Bai Jin shouted.

“Roar!”

The demons in the prison cells instantly jumped out.

Now, it wasn’t just Bai Jin and his men; all the prisoners were also trying to prevent Wang Ke’s escape.

Wang Ke: “………………….!”

You bunch of demons! You were just pretending to be crazy! And now you’re blocking my way!How am I going to escape?

“Hahaha! Remember this! Don’t let him get away! I will help you once I’m done dealing with Tie Liuyun!” Tong An’an burst out in laughter.

“Demon! I’m going to cut you down!” said the second senior apprentice as he charged toward Tong An’an with his sword.

“Booooom!”

The two Golden Core cultivators clashed powerfully as they battled.

Some distance away—Wang Ke felt increasingly anxious. Second senior brother, this isn’t the right time to fight! The demons are going to jump on me! What do you expect me to do?

“Go!” Wang Ke summoned ten flying swords and shot them toward the demons.

“Boooooom!”

Bai Jin and the other demons slashed forth to counter Wang Ke’s flying swords.

Although his swords were powerful, they were still inferior in power when fighting the demons. Wang Ke’s flying swords had no effect on them.

“Second senior brother, let’s get out and call for help! I can’t hold on much longer!” Wang Ke shouted from afar.

“He can’t leave. How can he help you while I’m around? Hahahaha!” Tong An’an cackled.

Wang Ke’s face grew increasingly grim. This is bad!

Once his options ran dry, Wang Ke took out a small black ball.

“Wang Ke, there’s no way you can make it out! What’s the use pulling out that black sphere?” said Bai Jin to mock him.

“This isn’t an ordinary black sphere. This is the Grand Ceremonial Light my girlfriend invented. Go!” Wang Ke said as he tossed the Grand Ceremonial Light.

Bai Jin raised his sword to hit the black ball, and the slash activated it.

“Booooooooooooooom~~~~~~~~~!”

Following the loud explosion, thousands of auspicious colors exploded, and a blinding radiance lit up the entire dungeon.

“Ah! I’m going blind!” some demons shouted in fear.

Everyone was instantly blinded because of the bright light; they could hardly open their eyes. Their sight was completely gone for a while.

“Don’t let Wang Ke get away!” Tong An’an urged.

“Jump on him! Surround him! Don’t leave any openings for him!” Bai Jin roared.

All the demons pounced toward Wang Ke. While bathed in the blinding light, they were like a net aimed to trap him.

The powerful light had also made it difficult for Wang Ke to open his eyes. Still, Wang Ke had to do it.

Lighting up the dim cavern with blinding brilliance was the only way for him to disappear from the demons’ sight for a moment and make his escape.

Still, Wang Ke didn’t foresee the demons’ readiness. They had another artifact; a giant net, which they immediately used to trap Wang Ke.

The latter’s eyes were still blinded, but he could sense trouble.

“Oh no! I got caught in the net!” a demon cried out in shock.

“I don’t care who’s caught in the net; I want Wang Ke inside it! Pull the net over! It’s okay even if we’re all trapped inside it! Quick, pull it!” Bai Jin roared.

He wasn’t able to see Wang Ke either, but he knew for certain that they couldn’t let Wang Ke make it out of the dungeon and call for help, or else it would be the end for them.

Meanwhile, Wang Ke sensed that the net had trapped many people around him; it made him feel as if wrapped like a dumpling in the middle of the crowd.

It’s over?I can’t make it out?

“Quick, draw the net! My eyes are finally adapting to the light; I’m almost able to see. Quick, I can see Wang Ke inside the net! He can’t run away, quick! Hahaha!” Bai Jin said and laughed.

Wang Ke then released his turbid essence Qi.

It had an immediate effect; one of the demons controlling the net smelled it and fell to the floor.

“Who farted? So smelly! Argghh!” That demon cried out as he convulsed uncontrollably.

“Be careful! Keep a firm hold on the Inescapable Net! Ahh, it’s so freaking smelly! Who farted?” Ahh, oh no! Don’t do this!” Bai Jin cried out in horror.

Almost all the demons had been trapped inside the net at the moment. Those who controlled the net started convulsing one after the other; the net dragged everyone toward one side.

“Baaam!”

A demon fell into the massive pit first; then, one by one, the net dragged them into the pit.

“It’s that cave! Oh no! Don’t!” Bai Jin was horrified.

“No, don’t! Save me, pull me back up!” a demon who fell inside shouted.

Alas, the momentum was already unstoppable as more demons were dragged into the pit.
