Insanity At Its Best

The ash rose up in a small tornado and formed into the one himself once again. He laughed insanely and said to Blaze;

"Cute....You thought you could defeat me?! I'm way more powerful than you. It's going to take a lot more than that to get rid of me, master", he said.

Blaze looked in fear and worry as he thought that he terminated the maniac, but he was wrong to underestimate him. He fell to the ground and said;

"DO IT!! YOU KILL ME, YOU BECOME ME.....EITHER WAY I LIVE AND THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO TO PREVENT IT", said Blaze.

The lunatic didn't hesitate and withdrew his dagger, ignited it and skewered Blaze. Blaze spit his sordid blood on his face before he faded away.

"You--You killed him, was it that easy?", said Zoe.

"Nope, This is not Blaze.....trust me. He is waiting for us at the palace. He is not dumb to expose himself to us, defenseless. That was him but just an illusion, he meant what he meant', he said.

"Wait...." Zoe wondered, realized, thrashed him and said "How did you die and resurrect?"

"Oh I never died....I wanted Blaze to reduce his power, even though he was an illusion, he had significant amount of power to knock me out....I did a small act and 'BOOM', here I am...plus I wanted to see your face", he said.

Zoe's face turned pink in an instant and she shook her head to get her mind off it.

"There it is again.....What the f*** is that? That feeling....my heart, its...racing, is this what it is to be or feel......love?", he thought to himself.

Zoe was at the brink of wailing, she soon embraced him and began to shed tears on his cloak. She said;

"I know we just met but please....don't ever do that to me again, I'm scared of being alone, it's just that.....I feel safer with you despite your deranged mind. Please don't leave me", Zoe said.

The psycho burst with aura but it depleted in an instant, his eyes sparkled and was shocked to hear that feelings were mutual. He didn't want her to let go and he didn't want her to keep continuing as it could be dangerous if she fell in love with him. He grabbed her and pushed her away, dusted off his cloak and said;

"Yeah, Yeah, Whatever, Now we have to get going....come on, the palace is not too far ahead."

Zoe effaced her tears and nodded. They traveled quite a distance and every minute, the adjusting lunatic kept taking swift glances at Zoe. He looked at her in a different way. He whispered to himself;

"I'm sorry but this can never happen."

Zoe noticed a touch of glimmering in the distance, she ran forward and saw the beautiful Crimson Palace. Divinity Guards in the distance began to pace towards them, he looked at Zoe, smiled and said;

"You ready to have some fun?"

Zoe smiled at him and nodded, the two plummeted towards the group.
