Insanity At Its Best

The three started to surge with immense power to battle. Their overwhelming aura managed to quake the apartment building. Not a motion was made, They continued to gaze at each other wondering if the other will make a move. The soldier and he disappeared leaving Zoe in confusion. Zoe started to scurry around the building in search of them, she then heard a loud shriek above the building. She rushed to the rooftop to see what was happening, she found him drifting in the sky with his hand deep in the soldier's torso. He then extracted his hand out of the corpse's c.h.e.s.t and snapped his fingers, the soldier was s.u.c.k.e.d into an abyss which he conjured up. He then descended onto the rooftop and Zoe rushed to him and asked;

"How did you--", he stopped her and said;

"You know you ask to many questions. I can see why you used to be a reporter. Now, shall we get going? I'm starting to change my mind."

He drew his hand across the air and conjured up a portal. He grabbed her hand and felt something deep in his heart. His heart raced and he immediately started to hyper ventilate, he hadn't had contact with another for a quite a time. He still wandered why he grabbed her hand as he hated physical contact with others. He thought to himself;

"For a madman, How am I thinking straight?."

They entered the portal and they were transported to the Crimson Realm.

Zoe was blown away, the sight if the realm was intense. The skies were blood red in colour, the marsh lands were deserted with not a single human. The skies were filled with flaming vultures, there were vermilion horses and more than meets the eye. All of a sudden, a miniature sandstorm whipped up in front of them, a voice said;

"I thought you never return. I'm very happy to see the both of you."

Zoe and he recognized the figure as Blaze.

"Hello, Blaze! Are you still feeding off the souls of others, or are you weak to do that too?", he said.

Blaze grew a little angry and said;

"Shut up, Ja--", Blaze stopped halfway due to the fact that he was being choked by him. The maniac managed to strangle him in a second.

"Don't", he said.

Zoe had a hint that Blaze was about to complete saying the maniac's real name. But she didn't ask as he was pretty steamed.

"PLEASE LET ME GO!", Blaze said.

He released Blaze and said;

"Don't toy with me and tell me what do you want with my amulet?"

Blaze caught his breath and said;

"It's my boss. I need your amulet to kill him. I know you and I haven't been on terms due to my reckless and foolish actions but please, hear me out. My boss wants to--"

Blaze swiftly plummeted towards the psycho in an instant and stabbed him with a dagger.

"HA! HOW DOES IT FEEL TO HAVE WHAT YOU DID TO ME BE THE SAME FATE FOR YOU, YOU F***ING MANIAC?!", Blaze said after hearing the loud screaming and laughing from the psycho as the dagger was slowly crushing his heart. Zoe attacked Blaze and tried to save the lunatic but slowly watched him turn into ash.

"WHA-No no no no no...", she said as she began to cry and burst with power.

"What in the world? How is this possible? Who is this girl and why does she care for me? I just met her. Does that mean others... love me?" , wondered the lunatic as he faded away.
