Insanity At Its Best

Every inch of the Crimson Palace started to quake and tremble and it did not stop there, the whole realm started to collapse. He let out one mighty roar which fragmented the whole palace; he was filled with rage and hatred towards Blaze. He vanished in an instant, Blaze swiftly advanced around the throne room to prevent any surprise attacks by him. Blaze started to weaken, he halted for a second and searched for him around the room and not a sound was made. Blaze quickly plummeted towards Zoe, she perceived Blaze advancing towards her but it was too soon as Blaze quickly seized her and held his dagger on her face. Blaze lightly gashed her face and screamed;

"It is too late, my boy...You can kill me now or you chase after the Supreme One and allow him to end you, either way I win. Now…COME OUT AND FACE ME LIKE A REAL MAN."

Not a movement was made and he still wasn't anywhere to be seen. Then all of a sudden he was hovering above him and attacked Blaze with his ignited fists. Blaze was thrown away and he was engulfed in flames, Blaze altered his form to a gigantic, four-legged beast that had flames shooting out of the sides of its mouth. The psycho whispered to Zoe saying for her to wait for him as he will be done soon. Blaze attacked him and held him in his mouth. He broke out of Blaze's mouth and charged towards him and endeavored to attack but failed and fell to the ground after being attacked again. He rose up with pain and thought to himself;

"Alright, I never thought I will have to use this but...whatever."

"Forget it! You cannot defeat me in my primal form, comparing this to you….your done", said Blaze.

Once again, Blaze and the lunatic stampeded towards each other. He pulled out a skewered and ruby sword and lacerated Blaze. Blaze returned to his normal form and found him several wounds across his body. Blaze weakly said;

"What is that? I cannot return to my primal form, what did you do?"

He laughed and said;

"Well….This is something I received from a mission I enlisted myself. It's called the 'Devil's Tongue'"

"WHAT!? IT'S IMPOSSIBLE! THAT BLADE IS DANGEROUS AND HARD TO GET TO….HOW DID YOU GET THAT?" Blaze said.

"I crawled through the depths of the Dark Abyss to get it, and I kind of eliminated someone to get this", he said.

Blaze stared at him with fear and shock. Blaze replied;

"You—YOU KILLED THE DEVIL?! HOW? THAT CANNOT BE POSSIBLE! YOU ARE JUST A F***ING WEAKLING! I TRAINED YOU, YOU—YOU CANNOT BE THIS POWERFUL!! I WILL NOT LOSE TO YOU...YOU WILL FOREVER BE BEHIND ME….no, no, no, no, no...…..NOO!!"

Blaze strikes again but he defends himself, ignites the sword and shoves it in Blaze's c.h.e.s.t.

"Are you insane? You're killing me! I WILL NOT LOSE TO YOU!! Who will run the Divine Clan?!" said Blaze.

"Not you", he whispered into his ear.

Blaze crumbled into ashes and flew with the wind. A power rose from Blaze's remains and entered Zoe's soul. The soldiers rushed towards the battle site and they felt a familiar presence. They looked at each other, dropped their weapons and bowed to Zoe. The maniac said;

"Looks like you are now the second in command for the Divine Clan."

She smiled and dispersed the soldiers. The two returned to the portal. Zoe tugged his sleeve and said;

"Are you ready for....you know."

He smiled and held her and tight and said;

"Don't worry...I'm here", he said.

He felt another warm emotion in his heart. He thought to himself that she can bring him back to himself. They leaped through the portal, and their first sight of their home was a post-apocalyptic hell hole.
