Insanity At Its Best

"This is......pretty cool", he said.

Zoe looked at him in confusion and anger. She saw it in his face that what he said was true to him. She smacked him and said;

"This is not funny.....and what part of this is cool?"

"Well, the fact that we are witnessing real chaos to our world....plus, when do we get to see this kind of thing? Now I get to see all races at their worst. Now they get to experience what I went through", he laughed maniacally.

Zoe once again saw that he was not hoaxing. She said;

"I don't know what happened to you because I can clearly see that you dealt with some pain but......let's forget that and try to put a cap to this insanity."

He saw her determination and saw that she meant it. For a moment, he shed a tear while he was grinning; he held in his arms and said;

"Jake", he said.

She looked up at him and said;

"Sorry?" Zoe said.

"My name, it's Jake Griffin", he said.

Zoe smiled at him and held him tight while.....Jake did the same. A huge cl.u.s.ter of citizens were running away. Jake noticed the Supreme Being in the sky, he was humongous, fiery and had the face of a vicious beast.

"You see that shining blood red rock over there, that is the 'Ruby Rock', it appears when only certain things happen like in this case, the eternal Supreme Being gone on a rampage and the apocalypse. We have to get to the 'Ruby Rock' and slide the 'Devil's Tongue' into that. What that will do is that it will drain the energy in the rock and transfer it into the sword. It will be enough to put an end to this.....I think", Jake said and continued, "I want you to stay on the ground because if you come with me and if something happens...…"

Zoe shook him by holding his arms and told him to finish.

"I…..can't---can't afford to lose you too, the last time I had someone next to me, I lost them…I may be nuts but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand that lunatics have feelings too", said Jake.

Zoe gazed at his eyes and pulled his collar and kissed him. He held her close, his heart raced and he was weightless from his past. He realized that anyone can be loved and it was a matter of time till he found a person that cares for him. Jake slowly released himself from her strawberry lips, Zoe pulled him back into another intense lip lock. Zoe gazed at him after finishing their moment and said;

"I feel comfortable with you and I think you did too…..you don't have to accept this but....I think I have fallen for you, even if it was for a little time...I know you a little better than you know yourself…..because I think I know what you have been through. I didn't want to mention this but I know who you were before who you are now. Blaze explained everything to me before I came after you…I am sorry for not telling you that but...…I think I want to make us work after this whole thing."

Jake looked at Zoe and smiled, he ran to the rock after embracing her into his arms a last time. He realized that he must not be crazy after all. He slid the 'Devil's Tongue' into the 'Ruby Rock', absorbed all the power from it and let out an amazing, overpowering aura. He held the sword high and he soared into the sky, he faced the Supreme Being and once again plummeted into him. The Supreme Being let out a mighty roar and deflected him. Jake hurtled to the ground; he once again flew to attack but failed. He took a minute to think and he once soared into the sky. He took out the amulet, absorbed all the energy in it and became filled with violent and dark energy; the Supreme Being looked at him with fear as Jake was plummeting towards him. It leads to a huge blast with flashing the city. Jake woke up and observed his surroundings. He was back in his cell at the asylum; he was confused because he remembered destroying it. He looked at the little girl in front of him, clenching onto her teddy as she looked at him in fear. He laughed maniacally and kept going on. He led out an even louder laugh than the last and he said to himself;

"So...….that's what will happen….hehe...….Well, then…..better get to work", said Jake.

He rose from his chair and blinked his eyes at her and it altered from brown to blood red. She went released her teddy and went berserk......….
