You can marry the guy or you will be kidnapped, tortured and then killed. Plus, your flesh would be eaten by the torturer, if you did not marry the guy. In the story, Teagan Shrike turns eighteen the summer before his senior year in high school. From one day to the next, he goes from heir apparent to a fortune to a fugitive from two drug cartels, the police and a shadowy relative who wants the billion dollar job badly enough to kill him for it.
