Its Just A Game

Chapter 24 - It be a chapter

Bobs Judge Pov

"Welcome back Bob.

From what I understand you broke out of prison and the returned the next day to the front gate covered in blood."

"Yes mam"

"Why did you leave the prison This time Bob."

"You remember that Nick Tames fellow that just got released. When he was leaving he threatened to kill my family, and you can guess what happened from there."

"Your pleading guilty to murder you know that."

"Why wouldn't I, I killed man there's nothing to hide. Nothing to be ashamed of."

"Bob. You are a smart and resourceful man why don't you put it towards something important."

"I am putting it towards something important. My family nothing else more important than that."

After a long sigh "I just wish, I didn't see you in my courtroom at least twice a year."

"I wish so too. But life just happens that way."

looking over at the jury who all seem to have decided already. He's really not that bad of a man just a little questionable. but murder is murder.

"Could you tell us where his body is as we still haven't found the last two."

"The last two were buried alive. Someplace in the forest. And Nick is strapped to the bottom of a Kayak going down the river by the prison. He's gonna be in very bad shape so you will probably want to send someone that can handle a gruesome sight."

"The warning is appreciated."

And as such and Bob got another life sentence making that his 8th life sentence on top of the many other sentences he had. But through such a way people learned that Bob wasn't stuck behind the bars as no matter what prison he was put in he always walked out. When his family needed him and no one knew how he got out. only that he would walk out the front gate every time.

Bob then spent 12 years in prison almost no more incidents only besides a few incidents a year but nothing big and the incidents were reduced help by him being to be allowed out for 1 week but under heavy guard and 24-hour surveillance. and he was only allowed out once a year like this to visit his mothers grave. Some would say that one week was too much but Bob would just sit in front of the grave and stare at it for almost 24 hours a day for one-week straight before leaving. At first, they tried to stop him but he somehow always managed to get there 3 days before his mother died. A couple of the times he fought his way through a bunch of guards that were assigned to stop him.

Bob 31 And the last of the bob stories for now.

Before I knew it I have been talking to Nargulg for an hour. The only reason we noticed what time it was, was from me getting a notification that Auto Quest has finished installing.

"Ay Nargulg, Mind if I look at what auto quest does. While we walk up."

"You just got auto quest, man your behind. Go ahead its nothing special tho."

"Thanks for understanding."

Tik, show me my Quest.

[Daily 0/1

[Monthly 0/4

So Tik is the 0/1 and such your progress through the quest.

{Your wrong bob it is the number of times it can be completed. You amount of times you can complete a quest is randomly selected from 1 to 10.}

Damn, I tried, close tho.

{Not really that close.}

Let me just think it's close.

{Fine. But you really weren't that close.}

This went on until Bob and Nargulg reached the top of the mountain. Nargulg about after 5miins when walking up the mountain was confused why it was taking so long for him to look at a simple function.

Looking up at the night sky. I hope Lilith wasn't trying to sleep.

[Bob: Hey Morg were are you.

Morgana: I am with Lilith at the Formation Guild. Why?

Bob: Just Curious. You know what It's getting late. Can you tell Lilith that I will talk to her tomorrow.

Morgana: Sure.

Bob: Thank you and we don't really have places to sleep or really any houses so just crash wherever you want. Also, tell James. I am going out for a little.

Morgana: Ok.]

Well with the problem of the Holy Kingdom and Sanctuaries diverse population. I am gonna have to find a way to strengthen everyone. The first way would be gear. I can get lots of gear but I really don't have enough EP for that to be viable right now. I will have to grind for EP for it to be viable which I will have to do. I also have James and I know he would love to make some weapons and armour its what he use to do as a hobby and job. But I would rather have him work on specialized gear I cant buy.

Arriving in front of the small animal pen I walk in and grab a rabbit before walking away lost in my thoughts. once out of the pen and a few before a notification popped up startling me out of my thoughts.

[Completed Daily mission. Reward ready to be claimed.]

Looking down at the corpse of the rabbit. I thought its body into my inventory before continuing on. (AN. I don't remember if I said anything about how big your inventory is but its equal to your lvl and then 5 str equals 1 more stack for consumable items)

Tik can you claim the mission and just put the sandwich into my inventory.

{Can do Bob.}

Now, where was I ahh yes. I would rather have James work on some special projects than just have him mass produce regular swords and armour. I could see if he is willing to train some of the blood-borne ogres in smithing but I should also get Nargulgs approval before I start asking around the blood-borne ogre for any aspiring blacksmiths. I can also get maclante to buy himself some special items. Well, that's if his shop is the same as mine, I can just find out when I ask maclante to.

Second is lvling, but that also has a big problem there won't be enough monster to slay that could provide xp. Wait can't, people, gain xp from practicing skills, working and professions. So If I could find something for everyone to do we could have everyone getting xp that way, that would be Ideal. I just don't know the speed you get xp or how much.

Third. We can do enchantment's but the biggest problem with this is we have no one that knows how to enchant and we would need gear before we can enchant things.

and then lastly. We have consumables. Well, we can split consumables into two parts the first being Temporary effects and the other would be permanent effects. And the first of the two can be split further into another two groups the first of these two groups would be Regenerative/Instant replenishment meaning it restores health, mana, qi and so one either instantly replenishing health or Increasing the generation of the resource and that making the second being buffs. That would be thing's that can increase your stats by a base amount for an amount of time before fading or giving you a skill temporarily. But the best would be to have Consumables that have Permanent

effects as that would help us the most for gaining strength. And the same with James and forging I can see If morg would be willing to train some blood-Borne ogres in alchemy and maybe get her to produce some potions.

But doing this they must be doing something similar on a larger scale as they have had time to set up and a population for manpower and to help fund the projects. So I will need something else to give us an edge.

There is my undead which can be a very good undead. I should also try summoning some elemental undead to see what there strength and weaknesses are. But if we are to use undead we will need more corpses. We can keep the skeletons of the animals we to provide us with skeletal soldiers as I haven't really touched the other types of undead. Hmm, I'm wondering could I extract ghost from a corpse then raise it as a zombie/Skeleton. We also have an advantage in who we accept as we won't discriminate on who we accept into sanctuary, and with us having different race which the holy kingdom won't have will also give us an advantage as many races have different abilities suited for very certain things like the Hellgate dwarves and there (Smith of ____) skill making them naturally have a large advantage when smithing. I bet they aren't the only ones either with racial skills like that. But at the same time, the Holy kingdom will most likely have races with similar skill and different skills making the advantage not as big but still there due to the many races they don't accept and those races specialties.

Well, tonight I'm gonna look for some Goblin tribes we can either merge with sanctuary or turn to undead to fight for us. I would rather appreciate it if at least 50% of the goblin tribes join us. But I don't know how they will respond to a random person showing up at night trying to take their tribes. Also maybe find some monsters that we can either raise for resources, pets or mounts.

As I slowly walked around the mountain making my way to the bottom I would cast (Nurture) on plants to raise the skills lvl while always keeping his mana at 75% for if anything happened he would have enough mana to respond.

I believe I have found my first goblin tribe. Looking at the clearing with many wooden and straw huts set up and small figures running about. between the houses and a large bonfire in the middle of the camp.

Taking a deep breath and walk a couple of steps forward so that the light from a small torch stabbed into the ground lit up his body but not enough to reveal his features under the lightly flickering light of the torch.

"I would like to speak to your Tribes chief."

At the sound of Bob's voice, the once busy tribe came to a stop and a deafening silence quickly took over as all the goblins turned to look towards the source of the voice. Until one goblin spoke up in a language that I can only guess to be the goblin language. But it's a weird language as it seems to be based around the sound Keuk but its many different tones and some other sounds just not a common as Keuk.

Once the goblin that spoke up finished the goblins broke into a loud uproar as they talked among themselves while a small group ran off to a larger house.

You know I wasn't expecting this, I was more thinking the moment I showed myself they would attack me in full force. but it seems how goblins are portrayed seems to be a little off the mark but it may also just be this tribe.

"Who has come to challenge me for chief of this tribe." Appearing out of the larger hut a skinny goblin with bone decorations covering it from head to toe and a long stick and a 2 small bags on his waist and what seems to be a wooden quiver with a bunch of skinny long sticks. but they don't seem to be arrows from the looks as there is no fletching, maybe they are some type of throwing spear.

"I'm not really here to challenge you for becoming chief I want to invite your tribe to join my nation."

"So Your here to combine our tribes."

"Yea kinda like that."

The goblin looks around for a few seconds before waving a couple of goblins over and saying something to them in their language before raising his staff.

"I chief of the Nimble Toed tribe accept your challenge."

[Challenge has been accepted.]

[Challenge starting in 1min]
