Its Just A Game

What makes us so different from the Dark races that makes us hate and fight each other whenever we come in contact with them. What makes them hate and fight against us whenever they see us. What drives us apart.

Its a very complicated way but the hate is started from a young age as we teach our young that anyone from a dark race will break down your door and eat you or something along those lines if they don't go to bed. It starts at simple things like this and as they get older you start to praise the hunting and enslavement of these races. causing your children to look upon these act with of hunting them with pride "as this is my races it's better we are on top."

But the Light races aren't the only ones doing this the dark races teach the young that we will burn and pillage their villages so we can cleanse the lands of the filth that is their race. scarring the children causing the children to fear and hate us as what we do to their kind and what we will always do to there kind. So they will stand up and fight back against us. They aren't wrong either we will burn down there villages and pillage them so we can cleanse the land. But the land doesn't always welcome us as we walk onto there soil we burn its homes kill its people and then we act like we did the land a favour.

Now to those reading this you may put me off as a heretic a traitor but I have been on the frontlines I have seen what we have done. I saw a young girl ripped from her mother's hands for only for the mother to watch in horror as her child was crushed and thrown to the side. I saw the woman break on the inside that was her child, I learned two things that day. One Xenodi Woman can single handily destroy an entire battalion of soldiers when they lose themselves to grief. Two, we aren't the heroes, we're the winners and we don't win gloriously like how we are praised in stories we rip our way through what's in our way so we can stand on top. so we can push down those we don't like we see as inferior. But are we truly superior aren't we exactly what we are fighting against. Then these acts of ours against them cause them to lash out against us causing wars and rising of so-called "Demon Kings". and the cycle repeats it's self, creating endless mindless war with no end in sight.

It's not even the Dark races fault that this war is never ending it's our fault we raid we pillage. I also find it funny I was tasked yesterday to raid a small village on the edge of my kingdoms territory and make it look like it was the dark races doing.

So as these small letters are spread to the public I will be committing an atrocity against my people in the name of the Dark races so we can further invade their territories with a noble cause.

I Plead to you think about this at least for a little before you throw this down and call it heresy. What is it we are doing. What are we getting out of this war?

Because I personally have lost Friends to this fighting. I even lost my lover to this endless fighting. Yet for all my losses I don't feel hate towards them I only feel Sorrow. I'm not the only one going through this there is 1000's more and they aren't just from our side they are from there side.

this letter and several like it created by various other soldiers were labelled as the Dark races trying to sow discord among the common people and heretics material. making any who were found with this and not turning it into the authorities were treated as heretics.

Many believed this to be the works of the dark races a few new this to be true but didn't care as it didn't affect them and then just a small amount of people took this to heart.

Wait I didn't challenge them. or well I kinda did coming here and asking them to join sanctuary but at the same time, I didn't. I was just asking not challenging. but that's probably how it is in tribal goblin society. Ahh well, I guess its time to get ready.

Wait I have no equipment, no weapons. I forgot to make my weapons from the true king shop.

Tik, can I make my weapons before the Challenge.

Ok, so that's out of the question. I could use my elemental form or my Undead form as they don't really need any weapons and both are quite strong.

Ok, Undead form it is.

Bob's skin on his head and non-elemental arm turned into a black-ish green mist that started to wrap around his body before solidifying into a black tattered robe that wrapped around his body and spread down to his feet before turning back into black mist and flowing back to the top of the robe repeating this indefinitely but slowly creating a simple yet perfect balance. Before a Vibrant green flame took its place in his eye sockets and slowly under his black tattered robe a faint green hue shined out. Now standing were bob was was a lich standing 6 feet tall in a black tattered robe giving off a feeling of dread to all who looked at him for the first time.

[Challenge started]

The scenery around me rapidly changed to that of a Roman Coliseum with the stadium stands full of Goblins of different races having some goblins that looked like humans some that had the size of a giant or others with wings instead of arms.

[Welcome to the Goblin arena.

looking over to my shoulder there is a small wooden dart Embedded into my shoulder. Reaching up and pulling it out taking a quick look at it before realizing the challenge has already started.

Glancing around the arena I see the goblin stuffing another dart into the staff it is holding. While it runs around me in what seems to be a counter-clockwise circle. Raising my hand and casting Spector skull in the path it is running. As the skull is about to hit the goblin leaps up into the air Launching a hail of darts at me through its staff well more like a blowpipe, not a staff.

Noticing that all the darts are aimed at the joints of my body. I launch a spectare skull point blank in front me creating an explosion nocking away all the darts Besides for one dart that makes its way through firmly embedding its self in my knee.

I Am gonna have to deal with this guy quick it's not gonna be an easy fight with the buffed stats on that goblin. Looking around for something that could make his life easier I notice that the dust cloud from my early Spectre skull still hasn't dissipated. If I remove his sight of me my life will be a lot easier but will I have enough mana to do this tho. Looking at my massive mana pool and a quick look at the 25 mana cost of Spectre skull Nah I'll be fine. But my health bar tho It seems that Spectre skull did quite a bit of damage to me and those 2 darts. But that doesn't change my plan which is already set in motion. As I launch the skulls at the ground around me slowly going out further creating a giant cloud of dust blocking out his view.

Pov Goblin Chief

Krek krek krek Pathetic human challenged me for chief I am chief not that human.

I Will accept its challenge. I will beat it and show them That I am chief and better chief than a human.

I am faster than human and stronger see I have hurt it and it can't hurt me it can't move as leg is gone.

Gwahhhh. Bad dust bad leave my eyes alone. Rubbing my beautiful Eyes that this human thought was my weakness, wrong, I have good eyes.

Wait where is stadium and why is dust every. Weghd My eyes they hurt dust hurt eyes.

Crouching down to hide my eyes from this despicable dust that wants to hurt my eyes.

Head Talker Remove this dust it's interfering with me beating human.

So despite the dust being cleared by the system after it forfeiting it still remained curled up in a ball pouting at its loss.

Back to Bob Pov after he launched dust cloud.

We have a problem I can't see a damn thing. I may have blocked its sight but this dust still blocking my sight.

Well, I guess I can just start sending out spectre skulls till I hit something or hear some noise.

And so Bob started randomly firing off spectre skull in hopes of hitting something.

after a few seconds the dust which was floating high up in the sky. Starts to go down like a vacuum was pulling it down. Revealing a goblin curled up in a ball mumbling something I have no clue what is saying. I guess that's it.

walking over to the Goblin chief looking down at it and offering it hand up.

"Hey Goblin do you want to live."

"Human won't appease crowd with blood?"

Looking at the crowd of goblins on there seats anticipating a soon to come execution of the goblin chief.

"Nah. I don't care what they want. So do you want to live?"

"So you won't kill me the great chief."

"Yes, I won't kill you."

"The Great chief wants to live." Reaching up its small green hand it grabs mine and I pull it up startling the Goblin before it stabilizes.

as the surrounding starts to fade and the huts start appearing one by one. And I am back.

As I appear with their goblin chief behind me it starts to dawn on all the goblins watching that their chief has lost and now the human is their new chief. But they don't really care as long as they get food and can continue to procreate.

[Do you wish to claim this Feral Goblin Tribe.]

Yes, I do.

Soon a message played out to every goblin of the tribe stating one simple thing that they now have a new chief that wasn't a goblin but a Demi Elemental Lich by the name of Bob.

Looking around at all the Goblins that are staring at bob waiting for his commands.

"Umm, First off He will still be your boss." Pointing at the goblin who was previously the chief.

"Second you will no longer be known as Nimble toed tribe but Sanctuary Goblins. and all goblin in the future that join will also be known as sanctuary goblins. Third You can't attack anyone that is apart of sanctuary or are peaceful with sanctuary." Looking to my side I notice that the once chief now the boss is relaying what I said to the others. I really gotta get my self that languages of Eden skill.

Turning towards the now Goblin Boss I tell him I am gonna just go sit over by one of the trees. on the side of the Village to do some stuff and not to bug me till I leave that spot.

Walking over to a tree on the outskirts of the small tribe I open up the weapon section and moved over to King's weapon. Starting with the Hammer.

I could go for one-handed but I don't think that would be the best use of my strength stat as it is one of my higher stats but I could wield it with more easily if I went with one-handed. Wait I still have that [Hammer of the Builder] but it isn't really a weapon. Meh, it's good enough so two-handed it is.

Physical or Magic. Tik care to explain.

{Sure thing. So Physical will deal 100% of the damage as strait Blunt damage. But with Magical, it will be imbued by your elements dealing 50% of the damage as blunt and the other 50% as whatever element that you are imbuing in it. So if you are imbuing it with nature then it will deal 50% of its damage as nature damage. Also with Magical, special effect will happen on the type of element used with it. But with Physical it can withstand 200% more enchantments then you would have on a magical weapon and enchantments don't have to share an element with you.}

I think magical is the better choice as it would be helpful for any special abilities and it can still have enchantments tho I don't know what enchantments choice there is, so I will probably go magical but knowing the system it isn't stingy when coming to special stuff. Ya Ill go magical.

Second is Spiked or flat. Tik what's so special about them.

{Spiked changes damage to 45% Blunt 45% magical 10% Penetration and it deals 200% damage to armour durability. Flat stays 50% Blunt and 50% magical and has 20% chance to cause Crushed Status for 10 secs increasing all blunt damage by 100%.}

Tik could I have one side Flat while the other is spiked.

{You can, But you will be losing the option of having a spike. a spike would completely remove blunt damage but change it to penetration damage}

I don't really want a spike with a two-handed weapon if it was 1 handed I would go for it but not on a two-handed. Ya, so Tik one on each side.

And so came a long process that took bob all the way to the afternoon of the next day looking over the enchantments to chose the ones he wanted as there were many that hade beneficial effects that could help him a lot. But he wasn't alone looking through the enchantments. Tik helped him look through them as there were millions of enchantments. Tik would go through them only showing the ones beneficial for Bob and pushing the rest to the side. Here is what they decided on

[Utility-Vampiric: When attacking with this weapon in hand will heal you for 100% of the damage done 50% effective for AOE attacks]

[Utility-Size alteration: Can increase the size by 400% or decrease the size to be 30% size of the original size. damage is adjusted to match size equal to the modifier.]

[Utility-Light: The weapon Becomes able to wield in a single hand effectively. Using 2 hands on the weapon will increase damage dealt by 50%]

[Ability-Basic Sentient Weapon: The weapon gains sentience allowing you to issue simple commands to the weapon when out of your hand causing and the weapon will follow those commands](a better sentient weapon wasn't chosen as better ones toke up more than one enchantment slot)

[Offensive-Elemental Fury: Your attacks will deal 5% bonus damage for each element in the attack. Damage done is done as splash damage in the surrounding in a elemental fury. CHOSEN ELEMENTS can choose 5 without needing another enchantment slot- Fire(cause instant damage and burn damage over time), Necrotic(causes curse damage over time. If died while cursed the become an undead), Ice(deals damage and slows by 25%), Solar(Deals damage and heals you), Explosive(Damage and increase elemental Furies attack radius).].

Looking up at the bright sky Bob realizes he still has one more weapon to go and he has to meet up with Lilith today.

Now onto this

In bobs undead form he gains bonus stats equal to the undead he becomes. Bobs undead form is a lich so that means he would gain a massive increase to his spirit score stats around 200% increase and there are 2 other scores but shhh you don't know about those yet. he also gains 100% increased affinity to all undead related manas and Qis. the Power up would be 400% and an even larger affinity to undead related manas and Qis but Bob is a Demi-Lich meaning he's not fully a lich yet meaning 1 evolution away from removing his demi status.

Bobs elemental form gives him an increase in the stats associated with what his elements give him so Tar would give him the bost in the stat it bost and some minor control stat buffs nature would give necrotic would give its int and then some more minor bonuses to spirit stats. nature would give its Wis stat increase and some minor to body control and spirit stats but they would be a small increase than the other minor ones. and this would happen for all of hos future manas and Qis.

Bobs true form is the everyday bob it has no buffs or not as many weaknesses. but also unlike in his elemental form he needs to know a spell to cast it not just able to control enough mana to make it happen or like his undead form and gain massive stat increase and undead affinity.
