Card system removes

Active skills besides racial skills. (Meaning he no-longer has any active skill besides his Undead Form elemental form and true form skills. Also, raise lesser undead as that's a lich Racial skill. but everything else is out the window. so the only skills he has now are his passive skills.)

Resources (This is things like mana and Qi or anything he would get in the future.)

Now that's gonna be a problem If I can't cast any spells anymore. but I guess that's where the cards come in they are gonna be how I cast spells from now on. This is gonna make a lot of things a lot harder than they have to be but I can't do anything about this so better get used to this sooner rather than later.

So do the cards destroy themselves after use or just can't use them anymore.

{So the cards store mana which allows them to be cast instantly also store a chant a rune and a formation on the card. Each holding there own effects on the skill. A chant doubles the strength of the skill, but it takes time to chant something usually unless it's inscribed already into the card a rune has many different effects changing on the type of rune but all runes increase the power of the spell an additional 10% per tier of the rune. Then a formation, it increases the power of the spell by an additional 150% and increases the Area of effect of the spell by 50%. Rune and formations can also offer different benefits depending on their design and if any special materials are used on making the rune or formation. and the inscription can also offer benefits but it's gonna be kinda like an after effect almost every time. Now onto your question with all these in effect on the cards, they can't be used more than once in a fight unless through another source you gain a charge for the card. Example being the card sleeves you got. and the recharge skill doesn't work well in a fight tho it works so technically if a fight drags on long enough you can use the cards again. So in fights that do span a day or two, you won't be able to use your cards more than once. I would also recommend looking at all the rest of the stuff before you ask any more questions. And before you ask yes I answered all the questions you had currently thought of. I am just that great and I am connected to your mind so. I know what your thinking.}

Passive-(Recharge: Card-cards you create recharge instantly out of combat except for certain cards. Cards designed for non-combat use have 10 min cooldown some of the stronger cards have a 1-hour cooldown.)

Ok so cards from now on, so I better get used to them sooner than later. also, I have all the equipment for the classes I got. So I should check that stuff out. Then after I will have to create some cards.

Now to start I will need a place to put all this equipment down some were first.

Looking around for a place I can set up shop. I believe where I am is an Ideal spot on the edge of the top of the mountain a large tree I can lean against and a hopeful enough space to set up all the Equipment circling the tree.

For the tools, let's start with the formation tools. Pulling out the formation tools a desk appeared before me with a large magnifying glass staring down the middle of the table with the middle of the table was a metal frame perfect for a card that is 2.5 by 3.5 inches(AN. Actual card size of MTG cards googled it.) on the side of the table there is a small jar with Endless Normal T1 Ink written on it and to the side of the jar is a fountain pen But the tip of the fountain pen is Bright red kinda like the look of heated up metal.

No onto the Next which will be the rune crafting I guess.

The formation table start to change where the ink is sitting the jar melts away and a small little wooden like box comes out of the table to hold the ink while right below the ink wooden box a small box containing small extremely thin disks appear while a thinner box about just big enough to fit the Fountain pen appears. On the side of the little box, a metal Sign forms on it with with the words written on it endless Normal T1 Pixie Dust. While the thin disk has a small metal sign labelling them as endless Normal T1 Rune disk. looking at the desk nothing else changed. next will be the Inscriber Equipment. Using the inscriber equipment nothing else changed on the desk beside a new container of ink appearing on the table. Lastly, I used the Card creator tolls and the Table started to morph the legs connecting to each other creating a wooden wrap all around the desk just a Chair appeared in front of the table now turning into a desk the chair looked like the chairs you would see at a persons study a solid chair which is padded to make it comfortable to sit at for long periods of time. While looking at the table which was now a full on desk with drawers on both sides. (AN. I will try to Draw this if I can't find a desk to match what I'm thinking. My drawings look like someone died so it may not look great.)

Turning my attention to the Fairy ink and the pixie dust as they are different from the rest.

[Fairy Ink: Inscribing, Formation making

Use: Use multi-purpose Fountain pen to extract ink for use in writing.

Effect: This ink gives bonuses to fairy type spells.]

[Pixie dust: Runecrafting

Use: Use Multi-purpose Fountain pen to extract dust for use in rune crafting.

Effect: gives the rune the power to float.] (AN. This is for only card making and not other crafting professions or runecrafting as card runecrafting and formations are very different from normal runecrafting and formation making.)

With that done I should probably get my free cards before I forget about them.

Opening up the shop interface instead of just the True king shop there is also 2 new shops I can select from them being the Card shop and the Card material shop. selecting the Card Shop The top thing highlighted in bright green with the words free where the price is usually were the words Free monthly cards x6.

Taking a look at the 6 cards that have appeared before me. each card has a picture of the spell and then the Inscribed chant on the other side of the card. Tik mind reading off what these do as each one is in a different language it seems and none are in english.

moving over to my desks chair I sit down and look over to one of the drawers opening to see a bunch of white pieces of paper which are the Blank cards than looking at the 2 drawers below it which have the card box and card sleeves respectively. Before noticing how Weird it is that there is a random desk in front of a tree now. Also, the desk isn't ordinary but one with a large metal magnifying class staring down at the desk.

Hhhh, I still have quite a bit to do that I've been pushing off. Before I start this card making. I will go talk to Lilith. then see Maclante as I haven't seen him in a few days. Actually should set it so everyone gets together the first day of the week to make reports on what's going on in there jobs of sorts, so I can appropriately manage and prepare things. Tho I say Lilith is doing way better on managing sanctuary than I am. looking around there is several piles of resources disintegrating and flowing off to a spot near them before reassembling. They're doing better than I was its starting to look populated here despite the number of people being here not that many and there being more people in the blood-born ogre or Goblin villages that have been built to the sides of the flat land on top of the mountain. I wonder how they are building on the side of the mountain it may not be steep at all but it's still angled. Well I know the Goblins have built in the trees from seeing the village yesterday but what about the blood-borne ogres I only saw their settlement when it was up here on the flat part. Actually, why did they move off the top of the mountain? I'll just have to ask Nargulg.

Getting up from the chair I notice that it's just past the middle of the night. Right, it happened exactly at the end of the month. wait then why is it still midnight shouldn't it be a few hours past midnight.

There would have been a big problem if you could go there and level up your skills. Wait, cant other people develop things like that and just level up there.

Rubbing my eyes before going into my inventory and pulling out the classless class statute and the two skill books I got for a reward of the monthly quest. The two skills on the skill books were (Ice Mine) and (Stone Fountain) and lastly the classless class statue. Which unsurprisingly allows me to select a random class and the class statute will become a statue of that class allowing 100 people to gain that class and the class and statue can be upgraded to allow more people to gain the class and strengthening the class while also upgrading it or deviating it into a branch of that class that excels in a particular part of that class. I can also combine two class statue to get a hybrid class of the two statues but the problem lies with that it may not be a better class or it will have restrictions the previous classes didn't have. I will bring up what this does tomorrow when I gather everyone but I am thinking of letting Nargulg and Brenda choose as they are the military leaders and the class can help them a lot more than everyone else I believe.

Ok, Ok, enough thought on that let's get started on making these cards. Now, where do I start?

looking at the blank card before me the rune in the small wooden box. Well, at least I have Tik in my times of need.

Ok, how am I gonna go about this? let's start with the rune than I will do a blank card than another blank card and sandwich the rune between the two cards with one card having the inscription the other having the formation.

does English work for writing the runes and the inscription.

{It does just not as good as using a runic language. I would recommend checking the skill you received from your classes before you start making the cards.}

Ok, so I'm going to guess that it is preferable to use the languages that came with the classes. Now just how do I use the languages.

{Just to let you know you have been speaking in Ancient Elf for quite a while now. its kinda like a toggle skill or a person knowing multiple languages. But instead of learning it over time the information in one go. So just think of the language you want to use and the word and it will come to you until it becomes second nature to you and you don't have to think anymore it's just like writing speaking in English for you.}(AN. anyone else who can speak multiple languages finds it they randomly switch between the languages. Because my fragmented knowledge of 5 languages cause me to do that with words so wondering if it happens on a larger scale with entire sentences?)

Well, If I can learn another language without all the work I'm all up for it. shifting in my chair to a more comfortable position to work in I grab one of the thin rune disks. The disk is more of an oval shape while being extremely thin. Grabbing the multipurpose Fountain pen and looking the disk into the card frame which is under Magnifying glass. Treat this just like painting Figurines Slow and steady Don't want to ruin it. Putting the fountain pen into the Pixie dust and pulling it out the fountain pen now has a slight pink glow to it and feels like it's trying to float away. Looking back onto the Rune Disk It struck me I don't know what I am even trying to make.

That is Probably the smartest decision. Let's go with the spell I use the Most (Raise Lesser undead)

What would I write on this card? Let's describe the process of raising someone. Taking a deep breath I start to move the fountain Pen among the rune disk making a slight scratch among the Rune Disk only for the pixie dust to fill in the scratch as it happens.

Pure energy with one motive to raise the dead and to Instill life into the once lifeless corpse of a fallen ally or enemy. A Magic that fills them with a Foreign power not of this world Bring them back to fight as a servant to the one who calls them from there eternal sleep. As they awaken They Become more than they once were they gain power gifted by the foreign power but they lose as much as they gain losing their sense of self to the never-ending demand of the horde they are now apart of. Welcome to the Dead.

Looking at the rune which has a large portion of the front part covered in pink words that give a somewhat chilling feeling from the energy the rune is starting to release. There is still another half a rune to write on and they're still the other side of the rune. I also bet I could shrink the writing to become smaller with enough practice. Now, do I write more onto the rune or leave it be? I should leave it be I don't think I should try other stuff out right now, as my experience with making the cards is none as this is the first card I am making.

Unlocking the Rune Disk from the card frame I move the rune to a location to the right side of my desk by the inks and dust. Then open the top drawer of the desk I pull out 2 cards and place them just in front of the rune disk taking on of the cards I lock it into place within the card frame before dipping the fountain pen ink the normal ink as this isn't a fairy spell so the fairy ink has no special effects with it. Now with the inscription, I believe that since I put the effects on the Rune Disk I could inscribe defining factor of the spell may be the type of undead or class of the undead raised with the spell. Let's try the type of undead.

A Being that has had their soul pulled from there bodies forced to wander it eternally as an ethereal entity of there previous body A ghost.

A being that has been forced to walk upon the world without the flesh that used to cling to there body or a soul to inhabit them. Making their only weakness their frail body with nothing to protect the oints holding them together. A skeleton

A Being made to walk again in there body that is frozen in a never-ending condition of regeneration and rotting never allowing them to heal back to what they once were but never allowing them to rot away and repairing there body to the way they were the day they awoke in there new body. A zombie

An Abomination made from hand-picked corpses and the most vicious of souls melded together then Melted to the bones of Heros and kings. Its horrendous appearance of multiple men and woman coming together to form a single being seems to draw the pity of a goddess of beauty causing its forming monstrosity of an appearance to smooth out and the face on its skin to fade from existence and for a single face to emerge one that is neither its own nor one of the owners of the corpses made to make it but a face that has ripped the best parts of the faces it has devoured to make a face unique to itself. An Abomination.

Now that is done. Its time for the formation.

Unlocking the Card with the inscription on it I move it to the side of the rune and grab the other blank card I took out I lock it into place before getting to work.

The formation was different as I dipped the pen in and was starting to try and start a formation which was me going to be trying to draw an undead split into 4 parts one being zombie, a skeleton, a Ghost and lastly the last one being an abomination. my hands started to move on there own without me controlling them as I started to draw it was what I was imagining but once it was complete I added a 4 weapons a sword, a bow, a spear and a staff the sword on its waist the bow strapped across its back with a quiver full of arrows the spear in its arm while the staff is in its other. before my hands came back to my control.

Looking down to the drawing where would I make the focal point be. let's make the Centre point be the heart of this creature as I tap the pen lightly were the heart is the colour of the ink changed and flowed out creating a red heart that was beating and when I say beating I mean it was beating like every one heart I could hear the heartbeat. So that's one Point I need to do 4 more. (Remeber this info is put into his head by the classes and the card system as it is important for the growth of the user.) I will make each of its limbs a focal point. and just like the heart, the arms gained colour just not as much and they slightly swayed with a weak wind noise coming from the card. as I remove the fountain pen from the last focal point the entire formation gains colour while the focal points are slightly animated also with a sound slightly accompanying them.

Leaving the formation card in the card frame I slip the Rune disk in then slide the Inscription card onto them before locking all three in place as I remove my hands a golden light comes from the frame.
