Its Just A Game

The undead is known for there ability to resurrect indefinitely. They are feared for this ability a soldier that already never tires, hunger or fears and to only make things better they can't be killed if you don't have a person nearby with purification magic strong enough to destroy there corrupted soul and body. And to make thing worse undead come in so many shapes size and types that you may think of them to be goblins with all their different types.

But that is also why I am here to teach you aspiring templars or priests on what you are to expect from these creatures. I may not be speaking to you in person but this book series will have all the information you need on the unholy races that I have gathered throughout my lifetime. the first topic I am going to cover is Horde undead usually found in very small numbers and very weak.

To start off the horde undead are extremely weak usually having just enough strength to move about without a problem but otherwise, they can barely do anything. but remember never underestimate an undead grip strength even a horde undead once they grab you they won't let go and good luck prying them off without taking that part of you off with it. Best way to deal with an undead grip and you can't kill the undead or cut its hand off. You take both your hands and place one on the forehead of the undead the other hand on to search for something to bash the zombie with. While doing this call out to allies for help but don't scream or panic it will only make it harder for your allies if you are fighting a group of undead. With that out of the way back onto the horde undead.

Horde undead is the weakest of all the undead in small number but is the most coordinated among all the undead and if enough Horde undead comes together they will start using there racial skill Combine. This skill is a very big problem as this allows Horde undead to overcome their weaknesses with specialty undead that are extremely proficient in whatever area they are meant to cover. Let's give an example you have 30 Horde zombies they are about as strong as a normal E rank adventure all together they will cause the E rank adventurer to work hard but he should be able to live through it 9/10 case the Horde zombies lose, but now let's say the 30 Horde zombies combine and become Hordes wall a very slow combination but can take a beating comparable to a high C ranking tank adventurer and that not the worse part of this if enough Horde walls combine they become The Hordes Wall. A Literal moving wall of flesh that can hold undead inside, Hold siege weapons, regenerate and combine into more beings each scarier and scarier. If you were wondering how the horde undead would get siege weapons don't worry they can also combine into that. Just know that if there is enough of them they can make it using themselves as the material. Now you may be wondering how have we not been taken over by such an outrageous undead and that is because they are the only undead to not be revivable once they are killed or well not revivable until they create a hordes necropolis then they can revive. Them combining into a necropolis is nearly impossible unless someone helps them as the types of combination undead they need to become a necropolis easily requires 5000 horde undead and if a group of more than 100 of Horde undead is seen they are immediately dispatched with high ranking Adventurers and Paladins. But remember this type of undead is weak and easily killed without a priest but are scary when unchecked

I did it. Also on my first try. It wasn't actually that hard and I could make it faster with just a little bit of practice. But that's not important I should check out my new card.

Unlocking the card from the frame. I slide it out moving it so it would be about c.h.e.s.t level and a foot away from my c.h.e.s.t. First thing I notice is that my card is different. Unlike the other cards by the system, they have full art covering both sides of the card with a faint pink text flowing around the rim of the card. Also unlike the system cards mine is animated the creature I drew is moving about within the boundaries of the card.

{Thats because your formation and the formation used by the system is different. The one produced by the system is actually a formation with a picture made to cover the formation. If you took the picture off that part of the card would look like a labyrinth But thanks to my superb drawing skills I drew an image detailed enough to work as a formation.}

That's some skill you got there Tik. I was wondering how you could control my body.

{Ohh. You see when Your trust of me and my trust of you reach a certain point I could switch positions with you and you would be able to switch positions with me temporarily. But most people cant use the personal system this way as neither of them trusts each other or treats us as mere tools and nothing more just passing us off. Despite us usually being smarter and more powerful than them. That's why most veteran system either try to interact with the host as little as possible or kill there host till they get a host they can trust.}

{Its like watching a movie that you can interact with the main character. Also, You can relive any of there past experiences as if it was a movie. Tho from my little interaction with controlling your body I like watching more it's just what I am made to do.}

Don't worry, I don't really want to watch everything happen as a spectator so I won't be kicking you out of your position anytime soon. observing the card I notice the creature that is part ghost zombie skeleton and abomination. is sitting cross-legged and observing me.

"Hey there, can you hear me In there."

Looking at the creature it nods before observing me again.

[Lesser raise Horde undead.

Requires: Corpse

Effect: Raise a Corpse into a Horde zombie or Horde skeleton. 25% chance to create a Horde ghost when raising a corpse. Can combine 25 Horde zombies, Horde skeletons and Horde ghosts to create a Horde abomination. Combine 5 abominations to Summon Horde King. (AN. The undead that was drawn by Tik and is moving around in the card.) Upon Combining there is a 20% chance for excess material to transform into a Corpse Weapon. They may be a long sword, Spear, longbow or magic staff. For possible Horde undead combinations Inquire from your system. Has no Cooldown out of combat. 10/10.](AN. The 10/10 some cards have charges that allow them to be used that amount of time before not being able to be used.)

"So you are the Horde King I presume."

The undead nodded before grabbing the sword at its waist and flailing it about like a fish out of water.

It has no skills with that sword. I wonder if he could learn from Brenda on how to use swords or maybe turn sabre knowledge into sword knowledge. Well, I could set it up so it can watch her when she's teaching the soldiers in training. Putting down the card I look up to the sky to see how much longer till the sun rises.

"It seems only 30 ish mins have passed I guess I have a long way to go before its day time. Tik its time to get to work."

The night passed with Bob and Tik working away with Bob doing all the parts to make the card but the drawing of the detailed picture as Tik was the one to draw the picture to extreme detail.

The next day as everyone was called to the formation guild for a meeting.

"Thank you all for coming on short notice. I called everyone here for multiple reasons. But first I would like to check with everyone would you all be able to show up at the start of the week to discuss what is going on with sanctuary and anything that to be addressed?"

Looking around the room we were sitting in it was, usual suspects. Nargulg, Brenda, Ren, Corath, Lilith, Urgle, Womre, James and Morgana. Everyone nodded there head or in the case of Morg she gave a very excited Ok.

"First off Is there anything that has happened in your respective field. We will start off with Nargulg on my left and go around until we get to Morgana."

"We have split our training into 4 Different types Stormtroopers, Foot soldier, Seige Troops and Ranged. The foot soldier is the most common of these we already have 100 total foot soldiers. 63 Goblins 20 undead and 17 Blood-Borne ogres. Next would be Ranged as neither I or Brenda have any training in ranged weapons and we are mostly relying on The goblin blowdarts to teach others in ranged weapons there size is 74 and 56 of them are goblins while the other 18 are undead. Next, we have Stormtroopers and they are practically tied with the siege troops in terms of numbers. The siege troops are being trained to use heavy weapons and armour while being able to move at medium to fast speed while being able to act either as a solid frontline or heavy range weapon support but we don't have any heavy ranged weapon yet they are mostly composed of Blood-Borne Ogres sitting at 40 While undead and goblins are at 13 each and we also have krenzek there training for a total of 67.

The siege troops are more like a specialty group as they have shown skill in something but we don't have enough of that certain skill to dedicate time to make specialized training for them. so we put them together and give them a versatile training routine with a little bit of everything we could incorporate within reasonable standards. They are made up of 30 goblins 30 undead and 6 Blood-Borne Ogres.

These numbers may be on the lower end for total soldier count but many of my Kin are still greaving for there dead loved ones and are not motivated to do much else and they will most likely be like this until the end of the week. Before they return to there previous selves somewhat.

That would be everything from me and Brenda."

Brenda just gives a thumbs up before waving her hand towards ren

"There is not much for hunting Tho If Nargulg and Brenda are willing I could teach the ranged group as my primary weapon is a bow and I am confident in the Hunters below me in being able to provide enough food for everyone till I trained someone to take over my place. We also found a herd of Cows with a couple of bulls in the mix I was gonna ask Lilith if she could set up an area for us to bring the herd to.'

"Lilith would that be possible."

"Yes my child, We still have a lot of room near where the small animals are being kept for us to set up an area for the cows to graze."

"Ok, once the fence is built could you lead the herd to it. Also, Nargulg would it be ok for him to teach the Ranged troops but Ren will have to go back to hunting if we end up having issues with food."

"The help would be welcomed."

"Ok, with that settled next is."

"I have finished creating a Formation that speeds up growth and it can be implemented almost instantly we just need a source of constant water for the formation to be running at max ability. I also started researching a quick to set up defensive formation so that we will be able to defend our selves in any sudden battles."

"For the water does it need to be constantly flowing or could it be possible for us to train so water mages to fill the formation?"

"Water mages would work but it will need to be filled up 4 to 5 times a day."

"Ok, so until we find a suitable water source I will try and get some undead Blood-borne ogres and goblins to learn some water magic to fill up the formations. So once we have 4 water mages I would like it for the formations to be set up then."

"My child, I have found a small kobold tribe that would be willing to join us but they require us to be able to provide them with a constant supply of food and weapons."

"I think the food won't be much of a problem right now as we have an abundance and I have a lot of EP to spend and I can get food if we need any. Also if any of you need anything that either like lich finger undead essence or elemental essence you can ask me It won't kill me nor will it injure me for longer than a few minutes until I am back to normal. Also as I just said if you need anything that requires Ep and you don't have enough I currently have 240k EPN up for use."

Corath hearing me say that smiles before looking over towards me.

"Actually I could use your finger to trade for a little bit of holy water. I want to see the effects that holy water would have in place of normal water for the increasing growth formation."

I can see Ren stare at Corath with wide eyes at his request.

"Actually Corath you just have to go to the Goblin settlement and they have a small crate of holy water that I traded for and there will be a new crate of holy water every month because of a deal I made so feel free to take whatever you need from the holy water. That goes for all of you." Turning to look at Lilith. "Actually Lilith could you set up a wear house specifically for resources for professions so that anything in the wear house is 100% that anyone can use it. and this will stand for only everyone here and only anyone here will have the right to distribute what's in there to others."

"This can be done, My child."

"Ok, so Lilith invite the kobold tribe to join us and Urgle it's your turn."

"I have nothing to report besides I have found an iron deposit and 5 of the goblins have evolved into goblin miners and 2 of the undead have replaced there hands with large stones and break the stone while other undead moves the stone."

"Interesting. Ok, I will send you 10 more goblins and 5 more undead. James, I would like for you to craft special picks and hammer hands for any goblins or undead that evolve or change themselves."

"Bob, The blood-borne Ogres actually I believe deserve baskets and wheelbarrows made for them as they are the main reason we have been able to keep up with moving the stone that's being mined."

Nargulg smiles at Urgles comment this smile supporting a proud smile of sorts. "Ok, then let's change it James can you make wheelbarrows and Baskets for the 3 top performing Blood-borne ogres each week same for the Undead and goblins so for a total of 9 sets of equipment a week."

"I will need resources also I can't promise high-quality gear right away as I am paying more attention right now to training others into blacksmiths."

"Is that ok right now Urgle?"

"Any better gear than we currently have is very welcomed."

"Womre your turn."

"I have nothing to report besides having the goblins evolve into Goblin forgers and Goblin Farmers and a new berry we found called Strawberry."

"Ok if you could start growing those berries in a small quantity as they cannot be a big food source but they are a nice treat and as per last time James could you make them specialized equipment for the top 3 of each group. I know you most likely won't be able to make all the equipment so for the equipment, you cant make tell me and I will buy the missing ones until you have enough Apprentice blacksmiths to complete the request."

"James."

"Well I originally had nothing to report but now I have two things I need. One more resource as what I have I can barely make 2 picks made from metal as right now we are using the stone to make all the equipment. Two I will need more manpower."

"Both of those can be covered I believe. With Urgle finding that iron deposit and if that is not enough I will buy a bunch of metal. For the later one, I will let you pick out of the currently unemployed people of the sanctuary as man people as you need to make it possible. James doesn't force anyone that doesn't want to try and find people that want to."

"Morgana."

"I have Only one thing but I saw that most people in Sanctuary were ranged so I decided that my first nature guardian was going to be a plant that was ranged. So with that in mind, I created P1." Morgana pulls out a small bag with Red seeds in them placing them in front of her.

"These plants one grown will grow out of your back and shoot a spine that is about 2 feet long and 4 inches thick. The projectiles are created using nutrients stored in the body of there host while also absorbing life force to go through a single evolution which causes the launcher to become mobile instead of locked on one place on the back of the body and allows the spine to have thorns on the side which explode out upon impact. They take about 1 month to fully m.a.t.u.r.e. These plants are with there host for life never leaving them and create seeds once a month after evolving. Or well that's the theory behind them and what the system said but I never tested them out."

"We don't have that many undead left for us to test them on as most of them are distributed between everyone here for various purposes. Do you know if they have any ill effects on stats."

"Yes, they devourer the nutrients in the body making your body weaker so decreasing the body stats. but it makes the body more agile as the body is lighter and less in the way of movement. Tho usually people won't be able to use the new found lighter body as they could lift it undead have no need for a physical body to exert strength a great example would be ghosts but ghosts have no body for the plants to grow in."

"Actually we could put some plants on the zombies in the range group than we would only have to change there fighting style to some type of crawl. actually, if we have any undead in the form of animal it would be the best. Ok, I want you to talk to Nargulg and Brenda about getting those seed incorporated into the zombies in the range group."

"Now onto what I have to say.

I have a couple of items first I will start off with this."

Pulling out the orb of life: Priest from my inventory and passing it around the table.

"So I got this Item as a gift for making the deal with the person with the holy water. Any clue on what god we should choose or should we hold this."

To my surprise, Brenda Clapped Twice before poking Nargulg and doing a bunch of hand signs.

"Brenda believes our best choice in a god would be one that would help with one of the Aspects of a country like, like Army, Economy, agriculture and People. Then after we selected a god for one position we will get the main god for each other position. She also said that we can get more gods for the same position but should try to get a god for each position first."

Urgle looks a little surprised before voicing his agreement and soon after him, everyone else agreed.

"Ok, so if we are gonna do that, then what should we pick first any Ideas."

"My Child I would believe the best choice would be a god that blesses farming and the raising of livestock. Sanctuary is growing and will continue growing and right now all food we have is used on the day we collect it not allowing us to build up a reserve."

"That does need to be completed. Is there any other Ideas."

After a few seconds of silence, no one spoke up so that matter kinda ended there but came choosing the god the priest would belong to. There was a big problem with this as we slowly found out most of the gods belonged to the Anti-Unholy race category so our choice drastically decreased till we came across an undead god of Livestock and Plentiful Harvest but also he is the god of Famine and Endless drought.

The story in short behind the god was he was an Elven god that did not wish to choose a side in a war between 'Good' and 'Evil' there for was killed by the 'Good' gods as he was a traitor to his kind but was then resurrected by the 'Evil' gods as a Botanical Ghoul God. in which upon being resurrected caused him to Gain a new set of powers along with becoming an undead cursing the ones who killed him. Causing the animals and plants they raised to wither and die and the water to sink into the dirt. After he cursed them he went back to what he was doing before blessing those who raised animals and seeded fields so that they would continue to grow Plentiful and the animals would be healthy. But him being dead caused most of his devote followers to die with there god or for the normal follower to stop following him as he was 'Dead' leaving him with almost a non-existent follower base.

"So we are chosen on the god for the priest."

Everyone around the table nodded there head

"Ok with that we shall summon the Priest after we are done the second I have a gift for a couple of you. Systems I bought that would fit you all.

So to start I got 2 system upgrades for Womre them Being the Crop Timer Upgrade and Plant Collector Upgrade. Next, being Urgle I got you Mineral Vain Detector Upgrade. Lastly, I got two systems which I don't know what you prefer so I will let you two talk about it and that is General System and the Legion Commander System for Nargulg and Brenda.

I'm sorry I couldn't get everyone something but just the Items I thought would go good with everyone was not all within my price range by a few million EP."

"Its fine Bob. An old Bird like me doesn't need anything besides the thought ."

"Ok on to the last thing I can remember I Got a system myself and its a card system. Meaning its a system that changed my way of using a skill. In short, I can't use active skill anymore except for a select few but in exchange, I can use these cards to cast spells but I also can make cards and give them to others. I also found a new type of undead and I can't possibly make enough of them on my own so I made about 30 of these cards so that whenever someone is going out to hunt and runs into an inedible animal we kill we can raise it as one of these undead and I don't have to be there as these undead are hive type and need number to be any good. So I will leave these cards with Nargulg and Brenda so they can watch the training and hopefully pick something up on how to use their weapons. So Ren, before you send out the hunting groups tomorrow, give each group 2 cards and the rest will stay with Nargulg and Brenda. I also have a card 50% complete and it's a fairy spell but as I don't know fairy spells it's taking a bit. But that's not important. So now does anyone here have something they want to talk about or is that all."

"Actually Yes I do. I noticed you have a classless class statue in storage would you mind if we choose soldier as the class for that so that we could better equip our soldier with Skills."

"I knew I was forgetting something. Yes, you can unless anyone else has a better idea for it."

Another look around the table no one raises an objection or shakes there head.

"Ok, So Nargulg the statue is yours to use and with that, this meeting is adjourned. Your all free."
