Its Just A Game

Ayo, so I am gonna talk about technology and what types of technology are used in Eden.

First off you have Dwarven Tech. Dwarven Tech uses mana stones they Dig up as power sources for there. Dwarven Tech is usually bulkier having thicker armour and larger Weaponry.

Next, you have the Gnome Steam Machinery. This runs off of water usually being built self-sufficient so the steam is recollected and then colled into the water to be reused. It usually has large Water tanks strapped onto there machines while having Thinner armour but being more agile and faster than most other machinery. If the Water tank is broken Gnome Machinery quickly loses power.

Ratmen Chem-Tech. Ratmen use chemicals that they find or produce to create death machines. Ratmen Tech is usually built from the scraps they collect mashed together to make their death machines. Ratmen Tech is usually very fragile but can still work as long as the Fuel lines are undamaged and even then usually can still work as they are very resilient despite there fragile nature

Human Tech. Human Tech uses ambient mana to power themselves This causes human settlements to have a lack of mana and an abundance of Qi. Humans are known to dabble in technology that would make their everyday life easier otherwise they usually don't touch it as they would prefer to concentrate the arcane art or Body refinement.

Goblin Tech is a little of everything as goblins will use whatever they can get there hands on to build something so you usually will find repurposed Dwarven, gnome, Ratmen and human tech. Goblin machinery Produces a very potent chemical waste, Tho goblin usually use their Chemical waste as fuel.

Ok, that is the Big tech Races of Eden.

Cracking my neck as I get up to stretch after sitting in a with minimal movement for about one month. (The pocket dimensions time is set for 1-30 also before anyone asks for the monthly card supplies he gets. It doesn't go for the pocket dimension time. It goes off the overworlds time.) There training should be coming to an end for the first session. Looking over to Brenda who was standing at the side tracing her hands along the tattoos covering her body while with one hand was hugging a mask made out of wood with a thin metal cover over the face of it.

"Brenda, I will be on my way. I am going to go check up on how the training went."

Looking up towards me Brenda puts the mask on before following me. Before making her way towards me. "You can spend more time going over the tattoos no need to come along if ya don't want to."

"No, I want to."

Nodding my head I turn around making my way over to where the training area was located.

Once I got to the training area Drexar and Drie. They briefed me on the events of the last month and this is there third mini war the first two ended quite quickly. One only lasted a few days while the other lasted a week but this time they have dragged this one on for the entire month. The First one was the Grunts(Goblins and such.) wins while the second was the brutes win(Orcs Trolls and such.). Tho after the second round the goblins were allowed to bring their mother into the area as they were not able to use a lot of there tactics as goblins and ratmen relied heavily on disposable pawns to cause chaos and do there suicidal bidding. There was also a couple that evolved on the grunt's side.

The Brutes won the one round by having everyone rush the Grunts while which worked well except a few managed to escape allowing them to do hit and run tactics for a while till they got caught. this is when the few evolved and actually why they were caught as one of the Goblin evolved into a goblin brute Bursting out of the tunnels they were using revealing them to get quickly pelted down after the initial shock of the brutes. (These goblins are like the goblins Champions from Goblin slayer.)

Right now both have created the main fortifications the Brutes first had thick walls a solid stone flooring and the walls were lined with soldiers patrolling there were even a few mechanical machines lining the walls it seems to be made by the goblins so I wonder how they got a hold of them. Ohh, nevermind It seems they are taking Prisoners from the Grunts, In particular, the Goblin Tinkerers from the race I recently evolved as they have proven as fast and quick builder's.

While on the grunts side they had tall walls made to metal that had many holes with cannons sticking out of it while the top of the roof was littered with miscellaneous types of machinery while in the fort there were two large columns billowing smoke with a factory being built around the two columns. While ratmen were rolling around barrel between buildings and burrows that were being been built and deconstructed at breakneck speeds. There was one room left alone and even a bit of distance was kept around it, I would some was housing the higher up of there army.

Pssst. Looking over to the sound a large section of the wall was opening as wheels of metal and wood went getting out of their fortress into the woods weaving throw it just as if they were running through it themselves. Soon after the heels left A few carts went rolling out of the gate with cannons on them with a glass tank with a Green liquid sloshing about in it soon more and more contraptions started pouring out of the gate before the city was only half full. The only place that was crowded was there breeding pit that was full of women from various races luckily none from our allies but I guess that any attempts for that were stopped by Drie or Drexar. But it seems that they use the woman from there own race just like they use the other races woman but there are built for constant s.e.x and childbirth. (AN. This would be Ratmen, Goblins and kobolds as they are just balls of l.u.s.t and they use quantity over quality tactics to wear down there enemy. Tho these races are about 200 males to every female for there races so they rely heavily on other races for mates. Goblins have a 1-week pregnancy and 1-week child life after that they are fully grown usually born in groups of 3-8. Ratmen have a 2-week pregnancy a 1-week childhood and are born in groups of about 6-18, Tho about half of the children will die within the first 30 mins of being born as the babies ratmen will consume their brethren. Kobolds have a 1-month pregnancy and have a 1-month childhood. They are born in groups of 2-4. when its a bigger group of children being born most mothers either become seriously injured or die during birth. I didn't mean to go that much into it but, Shrug.)

Following along the Goblin and Ratmen tech as it moved through the forest tho it seems the carts have gotten stuck and they are just trying to brute force it. It seems to be working in moving them but a lot slower.

Pov Brute's leader and generals.

We have been dealing with waves upon waves of goblins and ratmen contraption for the last few days. We have managed to capture a few of the goblins Enginers and gotten them through slave seals to mount some of the equipment of theirs to our walls increasing our defences over there last few raids but they are still managing to pick off our members a little with each raid while damaging the wall a little more each time. Not giving us enough time to repair the wall between attacks. We did try and rush the like last time and even capture or kill their brood mothers but they swarmed around the mothers creating a living wall of flesh for them leading them to safety. We did manage to kill about 70% of them but they are producing just so many bodies to through at us.

"SIR the scouts have caught glimpse of them making their way towards us. but this time it seems they are bringing some new weapons. The Ratmen's death wheels should be upon us in about 20 minutes with a swarm of soldiers not far behind."

"It seems they are going all out on us. Get the goblin Engineers to run a check on all the cannons on the wall and split the ammo evenly between the cannons. Also, Get one of the guards to check among the trolls to see if they are ready to stop the Death wheels before they get to the walls."

"Yes, Sir." My assistant ran out yelling to one of the guards. We have gotten the I guess it time to prepare for our defensive and if we win to storm their base. No, When we win we will storm there base.

"Call all the generals we will go over the plan one last time before they get here also send the message for everyone to prepare."

Pov Back to the third person ish kinda pov.

The Ratmen's death wheels were making their way through the forest shredding anything that got in there way to pieces there were a few times something in the tree would throw something at the death wheel for only the thrower to be hosed down by a green liquid killing or severely injuring them. As the death wheels continued onwards without stopping.

Soon the death wheels left the cover of the tree into the open field of the brutes base.

BANG. the moment the death wheels left the cover one of the cannons on the wall blew the top of it to smithereens only for the rest of the machine to continue onwards in a weird hoping roll.

"YOU IDIOT SAVE THE SHOT FOR INFANTRY AND THE SLOWER ONES."

A commander looking quite pissed as he berated the soldier.

As the Death wheel where halfway to the wall Giant hands burst out of the ground Knocking the death wheels aside or grabbing them as they pulled the rest of there bodies out from underground. Giant troll emerging from underground with large wooden maces in hand swatting the death wheels aside smashing the beyond even there possible continued movement but it still wasn't enough as the death wheels outnumbered the troll 10-1. Soon the death wheel started circling the trolls spraying them down with the acids in their tanks while trying to stay out of the trolls reach tho not always successful as there were a few times where one would get swatted away but not without the troll being punished for it.

"MAGES HEAL THE TROLLS." As the thundering voice sounded from the wall Multi-coloured lights started appearing from the wall heading towards the trolls reversing the damage they have taken. Allowing the Trolls to start disregarding the consequences of going all out and just swinging and charging the death wheels that were circling them. Tho it didn't last for long as once the mages showed themselves the death wheels turned towards the wall. As the death well made it to the wall the trolls stopped chasing and waited for a few meters from the wall. Once they were halfway up the wall the stones in the wall jetted out launching the death wheel from the wall right into the hands of the trolls as they were ripped apart. So far so good as they only suffered one causality from the furthest out troll as it was just out of range of most of the healers. The trolls made their way to the holes they emerged from climbing back into them as a few brave earth mages ran out and started covering them in the dirt making sure that they were indistinguishable from the ground around them before hurrying back into their fortification all this happening like a well-oiled machine leaving them a few minutes until the hordes from the grunts forces clashed because of the swift clean up of the Death wheels.

After some rearranging upon their wall. A small team split off from the fortifications disappearing into the forest.

Within the edge of the forest, many started to gather under the cover of the trees waiting for the rest to show before there charge. Slowly the carts showed up as the day was nearing its end. There were a few small skirmishes during the time they spent waiting but nothing that caused any noticeable losses or forced any trump cards.

As the moon was was directly above everyone Horns started to surrounded out from all around the brutes fortifications as many broke from there cover charging towards the fort for only the cannons to start opening fire tho not many cannons they still wreaked havoc among the Grunts as a single well placed shot would easily kill 10 of the grunts. But it was still not enough for the ever swarming bodies that had no regard for there lives. (AN. Despite them not gonna die because flesh blob doing its job.))

After the grunts, reached halfway out from the tree line carts pulled forward with Goblins sitting in gunner seats aiming the giant nozzles towards the wall as streams of Acid sprayed along the wall melting it at a quick pace. Allowing the quick ones to slip[ through the holes forming in the wall while their bodies were melted away by the spraying acid which was now being aimed towards the cannons while the cannons aimed towards the carts. Soon on the forest side of the wall, all that was left of the cannons and carts were steaming piles of rubble.

As soon as the Goblins got their first living bodies through the holes in the wall loud gongs sounded out from within the base. After the sound of the gongs, The trolls once again emerged from underground behind the grunt force squeezing their way into the fortress. The trolls started bashing all the grunts that were on the edges of the group trying to find other ways into the fort forcing them into a group trying to push there way into the group.

As the howling died down from the forest border Fully armoured Wolves burst out of the forest Jumping onto the troll Taking Large slashes and bites out of them while the riders on the wolves slashed at the trolls with blades coated in poison. After the armoured wolves Burst through more howling came from the forest as more wolves came rushing out but this time they had Tubes Pumping a green liquid throughout their entire body just under there fur but still visible. These wolves were 3 times the size of the other wolves and had small Goblin gunner seats on them. (AN. The gunner seats look like a machine gun mounted to a metal chair with a chain of ammo leading out into the chair. The Gun fires about as fast as a semi-auto weapon so about 40 rounds a minute. Also, it shoots metal balls or well 50% are metal the rest is kinda random junk compressed into balls.)

At the entrance of the calvery from there side, the trolls started having problems as not even the mages that appeared along the wall edge could keep the healing of the trolls up to the continuous damage along with a few of the goblin gunners firing upon the healers.

"ANTS EMERGING FROM THE SOUTH WALL." just outside the south wall a horde of ants was rushing out many charging straight over the wall.

"MEN IT IS TIME." Their leader Shouts to the people defending their fort. Soon the ground starts to shake as a storm starts to develop in the sky while the ground starts to shake and split.

Out from within the cracks Earth elementals start to rush out exploding whenever they run into one from the grunts group while balls of lightning start flying towards the wolves frying them. While the gate to the fortifications burst open allowing them to charge the Grunt army in a head-on Fight slaughtering the unprepared Grunt army. quickly slaughtering them.

"Ok, the brutes won you all did a good job. Now that marks the end of your first day of training you now have the rest of the month off. For any of you who wish to continue these battles for training or skill grinding or forcing evolution for the goblins. You will come contact me or Drexar and after the current battle ends we will assign you to a team. Now I would recommend to all of you going to one of the cities we have built in this dimension and getting a residence there for time does flow slower in here than out there, So it is perfect for training and the crafts."

Back to bobs Pov

That was interesting it seems that quite a few liked this mini-war. So I recommended Drie to keep these regularly going as it seems to be also very good for skill levels and the Goblins are combining their technology with the ratmen's and it's creating some pretty interesting combinations sadly they are too hasty in releasing their attack and they sent all their combatants they should have held some back to defend their base because they can recoup their losses in no time. they shall learn with time.

Moving towards Drie who was walking towards me after talking to both sides and finding out who wanted to continue these miny wars. It seems we will have quite a sizeable mini wars happening here.

2 days later(Outside world) so 2 months inside the Dimension.

I guess its time for us to start our raids. Several of the races are requesting some slaves the s.u.c.c.u.b.u.s are quite easy to please as we just let them do what they want to any of the prisoners and we are catching more and more of these patrols of Theirs as they are coming closer to us. There is the thing with that dwarf tribe as they promised to ally with us if we free some of their captured tribesmen in one of the more defended camps. they even gave us the location of all the camps in the area they know of so that also helps quite a bit. that is if the information is accurate. Morg also asked for some test subjects for a new plant shes working on.

I guess its time we fight back.

So, Bob, has his sped up personal dimension he got from a special tree called the core world tree. in short, you feed this tree fresh Man or qi Cores and once it has enough of a certain type it will develop a landscape of the element in that trees pocket dimension the more cores of a certain type it gets the more resources that biome will grow and develop. Once the Biomes hit a certain point they will even begin to spawn in animals monster and demon beasts of those elements in those areas. Tho all mindless and very aggressive to any who destroy said environment.

Now the Holy kingdom has there own one of these that instead of being sped up its has a giant increase in the density of natural resources and elements in the air. So there's will have a lot of rare and hard to find herbs, minerals and animals. compared to Bobs.

Also, the pocket dimensions are controlled by whoever plants them so in this case, it is Bob controlling his while the Queen of the holy kingdom controls hers. It is possible to take other trees and combine them with your but you will need to capture the one who controls the tree and the tree and sacrifice them to your tree there for merging them together. These trees were given to every organization. (recognized by Og as a major organization.)
