Jack Schnee [RWBY]

After going through a horde of Grimm and joining in an alliance with Dark Phantom, I was looking forward to a normal day to just chill and relax. It was a normal day like any other up to the point when Pyrrha started fighting Mercury. I remember that this fight was used to figure out what Pyrrha semblance was all about and use it against her. Unfortunately, I have no way of preventing this from occurring and even if I did what reasonable grounds would I have to do so. I'm left with the option of watching it play out before my eyes again. Leaving class, I felt a little disheartened about the incident but I brush it off as I head to lunch. I sit down with my friends as they discussed the stuff they were up to while we were fighting a horde of Grimm.

Ruby: We tracked down a white fang meeting and found out that they were moving weapons into the city.

Yang: We kicked their butts and sent them packing.

Jack: Anyone caused you trouble in particular.

Blake: Their leader was the only hard opponent that we had to face. He used some trick to escape from all of our attacks and escape.

Weiss: Nothing worked. It was pretty bizarre if you ask me.

Olga: Sounds like you girls could've used some backup. Why didn't you ask me?

Eve: Asking you for anything is like trying to pull teeth.

Olga: No it isn't. Just say the word and I'm there.

Eve: You'll also say things like your husband is here to save you.

Olga: We'll I'm not a liar.

Kim: We'll we stopped an entire army of Grimm from attacking a town.

Blake: You guys stopped an entire army by yourselves.

Jaune: The four of us with the help of two other people helped stop the Grimm.

Yang: Who helped you guys out?

Pyrrha: This guy named Sloth and some other blue-haired guy. I didn't get his name, but I think Jack did.

Jack: Actually, he never told me his name even after I asked.

Kim: You saved his life and he didn't even give you his name. It sounds like he's a big jerk to me.

Ruby: I feel like the name Sloth sounds familiar for some reason but I can't put my finger on it. Anyway, the school dance is coming up and I have a bunch of ideas on what we're planning on doing.

Olga: A school dance is coming up?! Eve...

Eve: Don't you even think about it.

We spend the rest of the lunch chatting with each other and we went about our day. When I was thinking about who I was going to invite, I only thought of one name. I went into town and bought a bouquet of roses and rented a tux for the day. I asked her to meet me outside my room at a specific time. When she arrived, I invited her in and showed her the roses. I asked her if she would be my date to the dance and she said yes. Kim accepted my invitation and told me that she was hoping that I asked. She was already asked by a couple of guys. I'm glad that she waited for me to ask her though. Now that I think about it, did Jaune ask Pyrrha? I messaged Jaune only to find out that he was asking for my advice still on how to ask Weiss out to the dance. I go to meet up with him only to see him talking to Pyrrha and making the promise to wear a dress if no one asks her to go with her. I only sigh knowing how this would end up as I get a message on my scroll. Dark Phantom messaged me telling me that Cinder will strike when the dance happens. He was urging me to take this opportunity since none of her bodyguards will be around and she'll be all alone. I told him I'll handle it and make sure to hold up my end of the deal. I close my scroll and head to my room. I look at the armor in my closet and think that now is the perfect time to use it.

Mercury: So we're finally doing something instead of playing around. Its been so boring doing nothing.

Emerald: We still haven't figured out who has that artifact.

Cinder: I haven't sensed its activation so there's no way to tell who has it. There's no point in waiting for something to happen when we have the upper hand when they don't know who we are.

Emerald: Don't worry, Mercury and I will provide backup for you in case anything goes wrong.

Cinder: No, I need you to keep yourselves separated from me still. Even if I was to be exposed, I still need you to be undercover. If you guys get exposed with me, then all my plans will be ruined.
