Jack Schnee [RWBY]

After I switched places with Dark Phantom, I've been giving it some thought about what I should call myself. The Fall Man, the Fall Gentleman, or the Amazing Fall are all names I thought of but none of them sound good. Not to mention that I can't keep this power, unfortunately. Every second that passes by I feel myself being pulled into two different directions. One I'm assuming goes to Cinder and the other direction I'm assuming is the original Fall Maiden (Amber). This would be a good way to track her down after finding out that she escaped from Ironwood's guards. I knew that it was too good to be true. Dark Phantom held up his hand of the bargain but has offered to team up with me again if there is a lot of money on the table. I don't know if it's my imagination but I feel like I'm being watched a lot more recently. Anyways, what I need to do is get rid of this power since it feels more like a slow-acting poison than the empowerment I was expecting to be feeling. I don't want to give it back to Cinder so there's only place for it to go to is back to its original owner. If I remember correctly, Ozpin has her locked away somewhere underground. I'll have to sneak down there soon and do what needs to be done. First things first, I need to get through the day and make sure that no one is the wiser on what I did. As I was thinking that, there was an announcement that called all the first-years to the auditorium. There Ozpin gave his speech about fighting against the evil of the world and the responsibility of huntsman/huntresses to protect the people that inhabit that world. He said that certain traits should embody us as we carry out our duties. Traits such as strength, honesty, perseverance, and trust in your teammates are what will help you succeed not only in your job but in life as well. After his speech, Ozpin told us that we would be picking assignments and having a professional huntsman shadow us on our mission.

Olga: Well, fearless leader what mission should we do.

Kim: Can we do something other than killing Grimm? I don't want to have to put into another situation where we are fighting loads of Grimm.

Eve: We could just handle the defense on the border. It doesn't seem that hard and the Grimm we will have to fight won't be that bad.

Jack: Actually, I was thinking that we do an escort mission.

Olga: I do fancy playing the role of the hero.

Eve: Which escort mission are we doing?

Kim: How about mission 459?

Olga: A mission to protect a family as they travel alongside the mountainside to the next city over.

Eve: We have to protect them from the Grimm that hides along the forest and the apparent thieves that live further in that sometimes attack travelers going along that road.

Olga: I think that we should do a different mission.

Jack: Why? The Grimm aren't likely to attack us and who says we can't handle a bunch of thieves.

Olga: It's just that desperate people are the worst kinds of people to encounter.

Eve: That's true, but no matter what mission we choose there's going to be danger. You can't become a huntsman or huntress if your scared of every sign of danger.

Olga: I'm not scared or worried about myself. Whatever. I'll just have to protect you if anything happens.

Kim: I hope I can count on you, Olga.

Olga: Of course, the protection of such beautiful flowers is my duty as a man.

Jack: I guess it's settled then.

Olga: I guess it is.

I assign my team JOKE to mission 459 and look over to see Ozpin talking to team RWBY. They are still trying to go on a dangerous mission in the southeast. I won't interfere since there's a chance they will find something important. They are the main characters of this show anyways. Classes are over for the day and I have to prepare for my break in tonight. As I was walking back to my room, I ran into Jaune. He seems a little down in the dumps.

Jack: Hey, what's up.

Jaune: I felt so weak when it counts so I'll need more training to get even stronger to protect those dear to me.

Jack: If you're asking me to train you even harder than before then okay. Just make it your mission now to surpass me and when you do, I'm sure you'll be stronger than whoever is under that mask.

Jaune: Thanks.

Jack: We can pick up your training after your mission.

Its too bad that until you truly beat me, you'll never beat that man cause I am the person under the mask. I make my way to my room and get some sleep before I have to go out later tonight.

[Team RWBY P.O.V]

Yang: That whole thing with the masked man was pretty weird to say the least. He fought all of us and managed to flee.

Blake: There's no mistake that he's incredibly strong, but why didn't he kill that woman.

Yang: That's the question your asking. Not who he is and why he was there, to begin with.

Blake: It just seems that if he was trying to kill her, then why stop when we showed up. He could have finished her off if he wanted to.

Weiss: That is strange, but what's even more strange is what Eve said. That he was trying not to attack us.

Yang: He could have just been looking for a way to escape, I mean he was surrounded.

Ruby: You mean that he could be one of the students here since he was going out of his way not to hurt us.

Weiss: That's a little disturbing, to say the least.

Ruby: Nothing we can do but keep an eye out for anybody suspicious.

Blake: What should we call this masked man?

Weiss: How about Calamity?
