[Olga POV]

I charge toward my father with newfound confidence and strength. I swing my golden bracelets toward my father and smack him in the face. He wasn't expecting the blow but quickly counterattacked by throwing a punch in my direction. I use one of my bracelets to block the blow and try hitting him in the c.h.e.s.t with my other bracelet. My father seems to expect this as he grabs my bracelets and pulls me toward him. I lose my footing as I'm kicked in the face. I flinch from the attack as he tries to punch me this time. He stops his attack and backs up a second as I see a familiar arrow strike the place where he just stood.

Dad: You're going to have to try a lot harder if you want to hit me. I thought you kids were supposed to be a challenge but I'm very disappointed, especially you Olga or should I say, Chase. You're still not taking this seriously enough. I've taught you this since you were a child. Going up against me will only cause you pain and suffering.

Olga: Stop talking. Don't act like you know everything. You know nothing.

I run up towards him once again and try to punch him in the c.h.e.s.t. He blocks it but is sent back a couple of steps from the impact. He's not invincible even with his semblance. So what if he can hear every move I make, if I can push into overexerting himself he'll eventually run out of energy before he can finish his job.

I dash towards him again and let the gem pump more of this mysterious substance into my blood. I could feel myself grow more powerful and faster as I send more punches and kicks in his direction.

He blocks most of them but takes a couple of them in the face and around various parts of his body. Every so often, I could see an arrow fly in his direction to force him to move or block one of my attacks that I would've dodged otherwise. Something seems off though. Every time I throw a punch, kick, or attack in his direction something in my body seems to be drained away. It seems that this power doesn't come without a corresponding price attached to it. It's not the time to think about it now as my father grabs and slams me into the ground. He's about to step on me but I quickly roll on the ground to dodge. I try swiping at his legs but he jumps in the air to avoid it. He catches an arrow heading toward him while in the air and snaps it in two.

Dad: Weak. It's about time I put you out of my misery.

My dad's nonchalant expression vanishes as its replaced with a very serious expression. He instantly rushes towards me as I hurriedly try to dodge his attacks. He throws a punch with his left as I dodge to the right, but the left was a feint as I'm punched in the face. I'm sent crashing into the ground feeling unusually weak. I try to move my arms but it feels like I'm glued to the ground. I'm barely able to turn my head to look at my wrist to see the gem's color change from straight purple to half purple and half red. It's still some purple color left so that means that there is still some more power that I could draw from to end this fight. He must be running low on aura at this point. A big enough attack should be able to break his aura and drain him of the rest of it. Eve will be able to finish him off at that point. I have no idea what this will do to my body but I must stop him before he can do anything else.

???: Stop.

I slowly turn my head to see someone I've never seemed before. He has short black hair with a smug expression on his face. His face looks oddly familiar to me for some reason. I can't quite put my finger on it. It's like I want to punch him in the face and take care of him at the same time. It's weird.

Dad: Another bug waiting to be squashed I see.

???: What a coincidence I was thinking the same thing.

I was looking straight at the man and at the next moment, he was gone. I could just hear my dad screaming as his aura broke and he was sent flying into the air. My eyes widen in shock at the instant knockout. How strong is this guy? He can even teleport with his power. Eve makes her way over and helps me up. Just being so close to her makes me so happy. I look up to her face full of concern and wounds while thinking that even like this she still looks so beautiful. I hear the sounds of footsteps as I turn my head to see that guy walking toward us.

???: Hey, you guys should get out of here. You've managed to drive the bandits off and protect this area of Beacon at least.

Eve: Who are you?

???: Me? We'll you could say that I'm nobody yet someone at the same time. On the other hand, the answer is more complicated and troublesome to explain.

Eve: Is your semblance teleportation?

???: Teleportation?

The man burst out in laughter as if he heard the funniest joke.

???: No, it's not teleportation. I was just moving so fast that you couldn't see me. It takes up a lot of aura so I don't use it a lot but I'm honestly nothing special compared to my father. He's thousands of times stronger than me and can do practically anything you think is possible. Oh, let me help you out, trash. I mean Olga.

The man's aura extended from his body into mine and gradually healed my injuries. I was grateful but did he just call me trash.

Eve: Did you just call him trash?

???: Obviously, he's a s.e.x.u.a.l deviant that always tries to land his hands on you. I can't let this stand even if he has been behaving himself lately.

Olga: Do I know you?

???: I know you.

Eve: I know Olga isn't the best person when it comes to women and he is a little bit of a creep.

Olga: Hey.

Eve: He's still my friend so can you please treat him with some respect.

???: Okay.

Eve: Wait, you're not going to argue back.

???: Why would I besides its time for me to go and find my sister? Knowing her, she'll get herself into trouble.

Eve: You're right, there are still more Grimm and enemy huntsmen around.

???: I'm more worried about something else. Well, I'll see you soon hopefully.

Eve: Wait, what's your name?

He ignores Eve as he disappears into the chaotic school grounds.
