Jinrui No Saigo No Kibō/Humanity's Last Hope

The battlefield is full of the strong smell of anger and kill d.e.s.i.r.e. The corrupted have a three times bigger army than the fighters of SenMa Academy.

"Stay close to each other!" shouts Maya

The corrupted already injured a few of the students that were fighting. Even though the fighting squad already killed a few of the corrupted the loses are pretty big not counting the fact that the army's leaders are still hidden somewhere. The fighting squad got a good strategy having the big, strong soldiers in front, ranged mages in the back and a healer mage.

"Try to protect the first year!" shouts the soldiers.

They got the order to protect them, that being the reason that only Paul out of all the first-year students is there.

"Tch…Like I'd need any kind of protection from you." Says Paul to himself

"Death Spear…"

With those simple words, Paul's magic creates an explosion strong enough to kill all the corrupted near his squad.

"What is-"

"That much power"

The squad is astonished by Paul's strength but have no time to think about it at all. The corrupted attack the squad in a second wave. It gets tougher.

Then Paul remembers the principal's words. Something not good might happen if he uses too much power.

"Looking at how many attacks every wave, they aren't scared of using most of the troops. They are treating it more like a war of wear. We are in disadvantage…" thinks Paul

"I could have used my scythe but that damn Mikage didn't let me go to my room first"

A group corrupted come straight to the squad but get sniped by Mikage

"That's three in one shot, a new record!" says Mikage

Then a big wave of corrupted come for the squad

"What the…? "

"What is this?" says some squad members

"I can't see where their army finishes," says Maya

Then the corrupted army charges to the squad with incredible speed.

"They got faster?" shouts a squad member

They manage to take a good number of them but the fighting squad gets exhausted

"There are still that many?" says Maya exhausted

"Not good, I can't use more magic. I have to keep my magic under control and they are already too many to have control over them." Thinks Paul

The corrupted get very close and starts fighting once again with the squad members, then from the wall direction we hear someone shouting

"Stop! You can't do that, are you crazy normal class!?"

At that moment. Paul looks at the wall and sees someone jumping from the wall with only one knife in hand. It's Hikari.

Hikari kills a corrupted when he landed on the battlefield, draws his swords and with insane speed kill every corrupted near the squad.

"Who planned a party without inviting me?" says Hikari

A corrupted appears behind him but he doesn't react because the corrupted gets immediately sniped off by a sniper bullet, the shot was fired from Fabio.

"Three in one shot you say?" says Fabio while setting his sniper near Mikage

Then he shots 7 corrupted with one shot

"+700 score. Still can't beat my record but decent," says Fabio while laughing

Mikage looks at him very surprised

"Everyone who still has the guts to fight now you can do it" says Hikari looking at the horde of corrupted

"If only I had my scythe…" Says Paul but he gets interrupted by Alex who was behind him with his scythe

"What soldiers goes to the battlefield without his weapon?" says Alex

"Thanks!" says Paul then goes to Hikari

"You thought about everything didn't you?" says Paul

"Of course I did"

"Now are you ready?" says Hikari

"Just try not to get in my way." says Paul

Then Paul, Hikari, Alex and some other soldiers charge into battle.
