Jinrui No Saigo No Kibō/Humanity's Last Hope

After a long battle, the area around the wall is secured. There aren't any more corrupted in that area. Every fighter got tired but is happy for that temporary victory. Hikari goes to the principal.

"How is the situation in the other areas by now?" asks Hikari

"Almost all of our soldiers are exhausted." replies the principal

"We are not though!" says Hikari and then looks at his classmates

"Hmm..." Thinks the principal

"Paul can go to East and I can go to the West. He can take Fabio and Alex with him!" says Hikari

"Fine... I accept that Paul and the others go to the East, but what about you? I can not let any soldier to go alone, even if it's as skilled as you, and for that many corrupted in the other areas, Paul would be a better option to go alone!" As the principal talk, he is stopped by a screaming Mizuki

"I will go with him!" says Mizuki while approaching to the principal

"It's still hard for me to approve. But we might not have another choice... Shimada, you go with Hikari" says the principal

"I am good with this," says Hikari

"Okay! You can go. I will wait for you all to come back. If anyone dies Hikari and Paul are expelled" Says the principal while laughing

"Why me again?" thinks Paul

Then the two squads go to opposite directions. Both directions are forest areas. Paul's squad is talking while running in the forest. Fabio and Alex start whispering.

"Who do you think is stronger? Him or Hikari?" whispers Fabio

"I don't know, I think they are on the same power level. Paul's magic is an advantage but that guy Hikari is ridiculously strong..." whispers Alex

"Why are you two so curious about that, it doesn't matter who is stronger right now. If you want to know, I'll have a match with him after all this is done. But only if you two do your best here!" says Paul after hearing their chat

"I just wanted to know, that's all but I think you know who is stronger, it's impossible that you two didn't had a serious fight," says Fabio

"I heard something about a fight between Him and Hikari but I wasn't interested so I just left," says Alex

"I heard about that too but it might be fake," says Fabio

"The match ended in a draw," says Paul

"So the stories were true," says Fabio

"Told you they are on the same level," says Alex to Fabio

"Now shut up, I hear something," says Paul

Then a strange noise is heard from behind some bushes. Paul cuts the bushes and sees two weakened corrupted. He quickly casts a spell and freezes them.

"What are you doing here? Tell me the truth!" asks Paul pretty angry

"We got lost doing the retreat order," says one of the corrupted very scared

"Retreat order?" Says Fabio

"Why would I believe you?" says Paul

"You are going to kill us anyway, at least we will die helping someone," says the other corrupted

Then Paul looks right into the corrupted eyes

"Tsk"

Then Paul unfreeze them

"Run out of here. You didn't see us, we didn't see you two "says Paul with a calm tone

Then the two corrupted starts running very scared

"We will just let them escape?" asks Fabio

"Yes, now let's go back to the wall. Say something about this to the principal and I will drink all your vodka," says Paul

"This seems more like a challenge than a threat," says Fabio while laughing

And they go back to the wall
