Jinrui No Saigo No Kibō/Humanity's Last Hope

From the direction of the explosion…comes Paul slowly cracking his fingers.

"Did they hide that bad?" says Hikari with a calm voice

"They didn't even hide…they just bumped into me…That explosion was a reflex" says Paul smiling

"Wouldn't it be easier for both of us to surrender?" says Hikari

"I can beat you fast enough so why would I surrender?…"

"There are only 5 minutes left of the competition" The Principal

"So…shall we stop losing time…?" says Paul

Hikari draws his blade

"Before we can start can I ask you something?" says Hikari

"Hmm?"

"What do you think you can do to me with that staff at that range?"

"Hmm? That stick? I used it to help me climb the hills?"

Paul throws the stick in the air

At the moment when the stick hit the ground they start the fight

Hikari approaches Paul with the light saber but Paul stops it with a magic circle

"That's pretty good…but can you stop that?"

Hikari approaches his left hand to Paul's head

He have a gun with a pattern similar to the sword

At that very moment Paul kicks Hikari and takes distance

"When did you get that!? Are you trying to kill me?"

"The principal said to try killing sooo…I do what I know best besides sleeping"

Hikari starts shooting light bullets at Paul…

Paul keeps defending it looks like he doesn't want to attack

"Why don't you attack…Don't underestimate me…"

Hikari approaches with his sword making Paul defend once again…He shots to the magic circle that defends Paul and breaks it…

"You did it…I will fight then since my defense is down"

Paul starts attacking with his dark magic

Magic:Death Claw

Hikari breaks the spell with a swing of his sword

At that moment Paul gets in Hikari's back and punches him

"So you started fighting"

Paul doesn't wait and starts approaching Hikari once more

Magic: Freeze Mark

Paul puts a mark on the ground that gives Hikari a negative effect

"How do you like my freeze mark…Chilling right?"

"That's the worst joke I've ever heard

It is cold though but I can handle it"

Hikari power's up his light sword and heats the area a bit…He neutralizes the freeze mark

"To be honest…I could use my strong magic but I will get a punishment that I can't handle from some devil…"

Meanwhile The Principal sneezes

"Some brat is talking about me" says the principal

"So I'll finish this without magic…"

Paul calls his weapon

"What is that big thingy over there?" asks Hikari

"Your death my friend"

Paul stopped using magic to attack…He powers up his speed by using magic on his feet then he approaches Hikari with his Scythe

But he misses

"To be honest I don't used a scythe in my life"

"I can see it…"

Then from the handle of the Scythe comes a dark magic chain with a big blade on the final…

Paul starts throwing the blade at Hikari and defending with the scythe

"When ddid you get that good with that!? You just bought it!"

"The adrenaline maybe" says Paul smiling

Hikari is overwhelmed by Paul…Then he gets an idea

"Okay…it's time to get serious as well…"

Then Hikari draws a second blade and changes the Gun with it

"Umm what-" says Paul

"Don't even ask…I paid for this!"

Hikari approaches Paul with a blinding speed…However Paul stops him and counters with the scythe…Then he runs to Hikari with the blade of the Scythe in his hand…Hikari runs with his swords towards Paul and they are ready to launch and attack…But then they hear an alarm…

"The time is over!Is a tie…Both teams have one man standing!"

"Well I think it can't be helped…That was a good fight" says Paul

"No…In a real situation you would have won…Look around you…Your blade was at 10 centimeters away from me while was my sword was at 12 centimeters also you were moving with 5 kilometers per hour faster than me…"

"Are you insane?...How did you figure that out?"

Then from the sky can be heard a loud song…Looking at the sky Paul and Hikari see a helicopter approaching…From it the principal comes and says:

"It was a good fight brats…But why did you not beat him Hikari?!

And why did you use an small amount of power Paul!?"

"You said to restrain myself!" replies Paul

"At this final battle everyone got back from the island…and also you couldn't kill him for real!" says the principal

"So you allow him to kill me if he want?" says Hikari

"Basically…yes

Now get back to the ship…we have to do something before I'll talk with you about this competition"

On the ship

They got a moment of silence for the students killed by Kazami Satoshi…He was taken to the prison…

"If you came here without the tought that you could die your place is not in the army…" says the principal to the rest of the students

"Now everyone get in the meeting place of the ship…We are gonna talk about the competition!" says The Principal

At the meeting place there are also waiting the rest of the classes

Class B and F get in line with others then the principal starts talking

"Congratulations to class A for defeating class C and class E in the competition…and also to classes B and F for being tied and beating class D…As you might know the winning class gets 10 grades…But by now there is no winner!"

"Hmm?" say many students astonished

"Now the winner class A and also the other winner class have to fight for getting the grades…But since the classes B and F got eliminated except of Paul Aome and Hikari Ianku…They will team-up and fight for their both classes…The fight is tomorrow…Free!"

"Wait…what?...Why?" says Paul

Then he looks at Hikari that doesn't have any expression

"You knew this will happen?" says Paul

"No but I kinda expected it…" replies Hikari

"And also…how did you get money for second sword and the guns?!"

"You think the principal hired me to supervise you for free?"

"And what are we gonna do tomorrow?"

"We are gonna win…I think it's clear…I'm sleepy…I'm gonna go to bed…" says Hikari

"I have to get stronger so I don't lose next time…but first I need a strategy for tomorrow…"
