Larger Than Life, Bigger Than Us

As soon as LingLing left, Lily quickly researched the guests of the Debutantes' Bal. Without care, she spent the rest of the day skimming through the thousands pictures of the bal, scrutinizing each and every one of the pictures. Still, after going through them all, not only once but, twice, she couldn't see the faces of the stunning couple. Lily was disappointed she could not find any information on them.

Her stomach grumbled. She then remembered she had not eaten to the whole day. As she prepared to move out of the room, a gust of wind went through the window and made a navy handkerchief landed at her foot.

"That's right, I haven't consulted the list of guests, maybe I will be able to remember their names if I go through the list." Lily also figured out she should probably return that handkerchief to its owner. At least, she had a first name : Dai. It should be much easier to find. Forgetting about her hunger, she decided to research some more. After 1 hour of research however, she still couldn't find out who that Dai person was.

Did her luck run out? How is it that the only 2 things she researched ended up being so fruitless.

It was now evening and she was famished. She headed out to the kitchen but didn't encounter anybody on her way down. It looked like SongJae and LingLing were both out. She made some porridge and started eating slowly.

She had just taken one bite, when she suddenly got knocked out. She didn't even have the time to protest. The shadow that was lurking, caught her body and left the house with her.

When she woke up, the back of her head was faintly hurting. How long had she been out? When Lily realized she couldn't see anything, she felt panic invading her spirit. She forced herself to calm down and came to know that her eyes were covered by a soft material.

She could feel her hands and foot were tied up and that she had been gagged to prevent her from alerting anyone.

She had been kidnapped????!??? She wasn't anyone famous or so important that she was worth kidnapping.

Her body was being constrained in a small space and she could hear sounds from outside. From all those clues, Lily concluded she must have been placed in the trunk of a travelling vehicle.

After she came to that conclusion, she started kicking the vehicle, in the hope that someone would notice.
