Larger Than Life, Bigger Than Us

His handsome face in his hands, the man was smiling. But his smile was sinister, he was exuding a terrifying aura.

" Lily, let's see if you will be able to unravel this puzzle!  You are in my hands now!! I can crush you anytime I wish! You'll never be able to escape me! You are bound to me forever! "

The servants next to him were trembling in fear.

"Let's go! My entrance is almost due! It would be such a shame to miss it!"

IN A ROOM SOMEWHERE

Lily opened her eyes for the third time. She felt she had slept for a long time. She was in pretty room this time filled with light and flowers. On her night table, some fruits, light snacks, coffee, tea and milk were laid out. There was music playing, the melody sounded so sad it was stirring her heart but she couldn't understand why. She quickly jumped out of a bed, but before she could make 10 steps she felt dizzy. The room was spinning around her. As she was about to fall on the floor, a pair of strong arms caught her and hold her close. Before she even had the time to say, she was strongly embraced.

" What are you trying to do???? I barely found you alive! Are you trying to kill me with anxiety?!?!?"

The voice was masculine, deep and very pleasant to the ear, but currently was full of worry as well. As she was pulled even closer to him, she could hear his heart beating furiously.

Lily was still thinking on how to make sense of this situation.

" I must had given him a scare, I should apologize. But who is he?"

Suddenly, he lifted her from the floor and carried her, princess style, back to the bed.

Still surprised she tilted her head to look at him. But as she was to speak, she was rendered speechless by the handsomeness of the man. She had never seen someone like him. Dark hair, manly features, if someone was to tell her he was a from the immortal realm she would never doubt it. Her eyes then met his, she almost drowned in his black pools of warmth. He lifted the corner of his lips slightly and she felt the room got brighter. Her hearts started beating and her cheeks started blushing. She broke down from his stare and looked down. What was happening???

"You haven't recovered yet my love, I'll call the doctor to come and examine you. You shouldn't be stepping out of your bed. "

He kissed her on her forehead and quickly went away.

"LingLing! Make sure she eats and stays in her bed! Also take good care of her until I come back with the doctor."

A young good looking man entered the room, he was about her age and right now he didn't look very happy.
