Legendary Shadow

After everybody had separated and Shadow had dropped Eevee off with Giratina. Liam and Shadow made their way to Viridian City where Liam knew that the Pokemon Mewtwo was located in Team Rocket's hideout. It took them a few days but they eventually reached Team Rocket's hideout which was the last gym of the Kanto region and also the strongest with Giovanni as the leader.

Shadow hide in Liam's shadow as Liam disguised himself once again as a Team Rocket member which was his all black facade. It was late at night so there wasn't much security, so Liam was able to get past most of them either knocking them out or sneaking past them, it seemed like Giovanni was not around either and he had made note to check in the system to see where he was located and made sure he was not in the city at the time.

As soon as he got to where Mewtwo was located Mewtwo had also noticed him and had started to struggle a bit causing the scientist to start freaking out wondering why he was able to get past the defenses and awake. Mewtwo used all his power in order to break free from the barrier and prison that they had made for him causing a huge explosion.

Shadow had protected Liam from the explosion and both of them slowly walked up to Mewtwo. Mewtwo is weak at this point and was breathing heavily and asked him what did he want with him. Liam kept it simple and told him he needed him as the final piece of puzzle in his team and that he would help him get revenge on the person that did this to him.

Mewtwo then said "if you can defeat me I will deem you worthy of obtaining my power", so the battle started as Shadow was fighting Mewtwo in an all-out brawler. Mewtwo has level 70 while Shadow was 68. Liam didn't want to hold back while facing Mewtwo and immediately activated Shadows devil powers giving Shadow the boost in power and stats.

Shadow had the devil aura around him while clashing against Mewtwo who had the psychic aura around him. The whole building started to shake from their battle and eventually they made their way outside into the sky where they battled it out even more, each clash was causing thunder clouds to form and Thunder to be booming out.

One of the thunders had struck Mewtwo in the back causing him great pain, he was already weak from releasing too much psychic energy to escape from his prison and now Shadow was also using sneak attacks on him to weaken him. Mewtwo would not give up as he pushed aside any kind of limit that he had and continue to get stronger as the battle went on.

Just when Shadow thought he had won the battle Mewtwo teleported away and started to use Recovery, recovering all of his health back to peak. Shadow watched this didn't even interfere with his healing as he wanted to battle even more now that he saw how strong Mewtwo was and knew that he could go all out this time.

Liam would not stop him as they both unleashed a Hyper Beam after they was done crashing into each other. Mewtwo teleported behind Shadow and tried to catch him to use a Seismic Toss but he went right through him because Shadow used Shadow Movement and moved behind Mewtwo and unleashed a Hydro Pump at Mewtwo sending him into the ground causing a big crater.

Mewtwo was in great pain as he tried to use Recovery but his energy had ran out, he was beyond disappointed in himself that he had lost but he knew that he had found the right master so he succ.u.mbed. Liam approached him as he took out a pokeball to catch him but decided to save his Master Ball and just used an Ultra Ball on him.

Mewtwo was caught officially joining Liam's team. Liam was pretty excited as he released Mewtwo back out and introduced himself officially," my name is Liam and this is my partner Shadow nice to meet you my other pokemons aren't around now but you will meet them in a few months". Mewtwo nodded his head and started asking questions about the outside world and what Liam's goals were which was to be the greatest Pokemon trainer in the whole world and also explore the entire world while he was at it.

Mewtwo had no idea what that meant but he knew that under Liam's care he would grow stronger and would be able avoid that madman Giovanni. After this battle Liam decided to leave when he noticed someone approaching the site in a nice all black car, it looked like a Ferrari from his past life but with a different symbol, it had a rabbit as its main symbol causing Liam to laugh.

The person that came out of the car was none other than Giovanni who was surprised to see that his whole hideout was destroyed and even the gym was in ruin, he looked at Liam in surprise and ask him what happened here and where was the Pokemon that was locked up.

Liam shrugged and said "i have not seen any Pokemon but i happened to escape with my life after i got defeated by a guy called Liam". Liam was still in his team rocket uniform, but Giovanni looked at him strangely and asked him what his name was, but just when Liam was about to tell him.

Giovanni said" no it's you I recognize those red eyes and I've seen them before you are that Liam kid that I defeated last time, this time I won't let you escape". Liam knew that Mewtwo and Shadow were tired from their battle so this time he decided to escape as he summoned Mewtwo and had him Teleport him away.

As soon as Mewtwo came out Giovanni was surprised that he was being controlled by a Pokemon trainer other than him and it was caught too, Giovanni was beyond mad as he summoned all four of his Pokemon to unleash a barrage of attacks, but Liam had disappeared soon after and appeared in Pallet Town.

There was a huge explosion after Giovanni had attacked the spot that Liam was in. Liam could see the destruction from Pallet Town and knew that if he had gotten caught in that he would definitely be dead. He undressed quickly and stored his team rocket outfit he might use it again in the future and headed to his home to go visit his mom.

His mom Marie was surprised that he was home this early in the morning but welcomed him regardless. Arbok was still lazing about as usual but was happy to see that Liam made it back. Liam was tired so he went to freshen up and go take a nap since he's been up all night.
