Life With A System

Inside the Xia Family apartment, a youth with black hair and brown eyes rampaged through the kitchen. His ambition was clear: He was scavenging for food!

Having been sleeping for the whole day, it was obvious that Xia Shishu was hungry and need something to satiate himself. Though his actions were proving futile because there was no more food in the kitchen other than plain rice!

"N-Noo!!! Does the heavens hate me for ditching school and sleep all day?! They must want this immortal to die of hunger! I don't want to eat only plain rice.. It's not healthy at all… Not because It's not tasty by itself, but it's not healthy, yep."

After talking to himself, Xia Shishu quickly left for his room. He wanted to get his wallet and buy something to eat! Xia Shishu ignored the system for now because he - A MAN - clearly cannot work on an empty stomach.

Walking out of the door, Xia Shishu rushed to the nearest convenience store which is five blocks away from where he lives. Although a man can't work on an empty stomach, they should be able to break their limits when food is at their fingertips!

With his messy bed hair and bland grey T-shirt, he looks just like a teenage youth that didn't clean himself/herself for weeks.

The sound of the bell woke the cashier lady up. She had been day dreaming since there was no customer at the moment.

She frowned after seeing a youth with a weird appearance at the door, but she didn't let the youth see it because he could be a potential customer.

The youth was average in her eyes and she became a little bit disgusted after seeing his disordered hair style and messy clothes.

She still greeted the youth enthusiastically though: "Welcome!" as she out on an friendly expression.

She saw the youth nod and went to search for his item. Inwardly, the cashier secretly sneered and suspiciously kept an eye on the youth because he might be an evil disgusting thief.

Arriving at the door, Xia Shishu glanced at the cashier lady who is staring at him. The lady looked as if she is in her early twenties with fair skin and a nice body.

He nodded to the cashier lady after hearing her saying "Welcome!" while thinking to himself how polite the lady is.

Xia Shishu went and strolled around the convenience store with a carefree attitude. Eventually, he found the readily made to eat sandwich. Grabbing one, Xia Shishu closed his eyes. He thought about the food he'll get to eat once his sister got home and reluctantly walked to the cashier with the sandwich.

The cashier saw the youth walking towards her with a sandwich and thought to herself that he wasted his time coming here just go get one sandwich.

"It's 20 yuan."

The cashier said with contempt.

Xia Shishu took out his wallet and he was surprised. His 200 yuan was gone!

"How is this possible?! I clearly had 200 yuan in my wallet last week! Where could it have ran off to??"

"Do you have the money or not?!"

Xia Shishu ignored the fair lady and flipped his wallet back and forth.

Xia Shishu suddenly saw an interface pop up similar to when he was checking his stats page. He became excited as he thought inside his head: 'isn't he some sort of cheat like the main characters in the novels right now?! Strength?! Wealth?! Power?! Hahaha, I Immortal Xia Shishu will get this achievement!'

While Xia Shishu was daydreaming about his path to awesomeness, someone brought him back to reality! It was the cashier! Tsk!

"HEY! I'M TALKING TO YOU! WHY ARE YOU JUST STANDING THERE!? If you don't have the money then leave! You won't get this sandwich!"

Xia Shishu laughed and shook his head, isn't this the legendary pisser-off side character from his new life as a person with a system!? A 180-degree turn from her previous goody-two-shoes personality? What a fool…

Of Course, Xia Shishu wouldn't forget the system! It's his first chance to benefit from the System that appeared out of nowhere! With a grin, Xia Shishu tried his best to act as an immortal that shows disdain towards the heavens.

"Humph! Human, you dare threaten me? Do you not know who I am? I am the person that is going to shock the world! How about it, you give me the sandwich and I'll forgive you."

After saying these lines, Xia Shishu felt proud of himself.

But…

"Damn brat! Do you want to leave or should I kick you out?!"

Xia Shishu scratched his head and sighed and couldn't help but negatively think about this fierce woman.

'Damn couldn't she just play along with me and give me the sandwich for free?! I secretly pray to the gods… I mean pray to the system that she will never find a husband! Heh heh'

Looking at the interface that is at his peripheral vision, Xia Shishu can't help but look at the two words, 'various ways'.

BAM! He thought of a great idea! Maybe he can seduce the lady!

"Hehe I'm sorry pretty lady. I just wanted to get your attention because I fell in love ever since I saw you for the first time. Don't Speak Yet! I know that you don't know me, but I want you to know that my feelings are true! I fell in love with your beauty, your face, and everything about you!"

The cashier lady frowned while looking at the boy with a messy figure.

"R-Really?"

Xia Shishu felt elated by her answer. It's going according to plan! Next, he'll compliment her a few more and get that sandwich so he can satisfy his hunger and get the system reward!

"Well as you know, from top to bottom your are truly peerless. Your personali-"

"GET OUT!!"

The woman suddenly shouted at Xia Shishu!

Shocked, Xia Shishu looked at the lady. He was truly sad! His plan failed! How can he get the sandwich for the rewards!!! Xia Shishu was on the verge of tearing up!

How dare she! Maybe he was being too nice… He takes back what he said! She should get a husband! She should get an ugly lazy hobo as her husband!

After cursing at her inwardly, Xia Shishu tried his best to think about a way to get the sandwich.

Hesitating for a bit, Xia Shishu came to a conclusion. He can't and he won't steal so there is only one way left!

He got down on his knees and kowtow to the lady…

"OhH Beautiful lady. Please have mercy on me! You're beautiful like a fairy and your power is akin to a God's. How can I ever dare have you as a future half! I have also licked the sandwich and made it touch me everywhere… I beg you to give me the sandwich, you can use me as a boy toy in the future! Wait! You must use me as a boy toy!! Please be my sugar mommy!!!"

Feeling no shame, Xia Shishu used the heavenly bitc* technique he learned from all his readings.

"Disgusting. Here take the sandwich AND GET OUTT!!!"

The cashier lady threw the sandwich to Xia Shishu and urged him to get out so she can go wash her hands. She wanted to get rid of Xia Shishu's 'Saliva' and 'Body Germs'.

As soon as he got what he wanted, Xia Shishu quickly left the convenience store, scared that the lady might change her mind.
