After Jiraiya flickered away, Raiden looked at the child and went towards him. "Kid, come with me."

Naruto looked at the older boy. "What do you want?"

"I want to take you to eat."

"Really?"

"Yes."

Naruto got up and followed Raiden. Raiden went to the closest place he knew, Ichiraku Ramen.

After they ordered, Raiden asked him "What's your name? Why were you kicked out of the shop?"

"I am Uzumaki Naruto! The guy who's gonna become Hokage!" He said before looking down and saying "I don't know why he kicked me out, most shops either kick me out or have really expensive stuff."

'Blonde? Uzumaki? isn't he the Fourth Hokage's son? that should mean the nine tails was sealed inside him, and whoever spread the rumours about him wanted to break him before using him as a weapon. I happen to know someone with enough power to do that, but why hasn't the Hokage stopped him?' Thought Raiden about Naruto's situation.

"It's okay Naruto, I am sure they won't be doing that anymore." Said Raiden while thinking of Jiraiya going to meat the Hokage.

At the Hokage tower, Jiraiya just barged in through the window.

"Sensei, what is the meaning of this?"

"What's wrong Jiraiya?"

Jiraiya released his huge amount of chakra and killing intent, which signalled the Anbu to retreat. He suddenly looked towards a corner and a man dropped from it.

"Why is Naruto's secret known throughout the village and why is he so malnourished, does no one take care of him?"

Hiruzen's face stiffened at the question. "Well-"

"Well, what? I've been going on infiltration missions for the past three years trying to protect him from enemies from the outside while you've been surrounding him with enemies from the inside. In the first place, how did an S-class secret get leak-"

"That son of a bitch." Jiraiya was going to leave, but Hiruzen stopped him.

"Wait!"

"Why should I wait? That man has to be dealt with. He should get the death penalty for leaking an S-class secret, not to mention all the things he's done that you don't know about. He even has someone spying on you." Said Jiraiya while pointing at the root ninja sleeping under a Genjutsu.

"You know I can't do that, he's one of the village elders and my comrade."

"If that man isn't relieved of all his duties I'll kill him myself. You know that he started the rumours about the Uchiha and made the village's relationship worsen with them. He has also recently taken children that still haven't become a ninja to train for his root. Why should he have the authority to recruit orphans of the village? Did their parents die for the village only for Danzo to destroy their children by making them mindless puppets under him."

Hiruzen was shocked at the information that he already knew but decided to ignore.

"You will deal with him or I will go all out and destroy him." Jiraiya said extremely angry.

"I'll disband root right away."

"No! We will send someone to infiltrate root first, see if we can rescue as much as we can from his clutches. After that, you won't just disband root, he'll be relieved of his duties as an elder of Konoha and his chakra will be personally sealed."

"That's a bit too mu-"

"It isn't. While investigating Orochimaru, I found out where he got lord first's cells."

"No! That can't be! Danzo would never do something like that, desecrating the corpse of our teacher."

"But he did. That man is not working for the leaf, he is working for himself. He wants power, he wants to be Hokage."

"And now that I have taken a disciple and we've dealt with the biggest threat to Naruto's life, Kumo, I'll be here for the time being, I'll take on my role as Naruto's godfather and raise him."

After that, they hashed out the details and decided to send Kakashi in, to infiltrate as Danzo has wanted a Sharingan user for a long time.

"Sensei, I'll try to work something out with the Uchiha later. Also, I'll be taking Minato's house. And do something about those villagers would you, it's an S-class secret and it's being used as gossip for old ladies."

'Sigh, he really should've become Hokage and relieved me of all this. I had three students, each great in a field. Two of them could have been great Hokages, but one defected and one doesn't want the job. Sigh' Hiruzen sighed while thinking.

Jiraiya took the root ninja with him "I'll take this one to investigate." and left.

After making sure the ninja was out, he sealed his chakra and sealed him in a scroll to investigate him later.

Jiraiya went to Ichiraku Ramen to find them leaving the restaurant.

"Good, you fed him well right?" Jiraiya asked Raiden.

"Yes, sensei."

"Naruto, Where do you live right now?" Asked Jiraiya.

"I used to live in the orphanage, but the matron kicked me out a month ago. Now I live alone in an apartment given to me by grandpa Hokage."

"Sigh, Ok from today you're gonna live with me."

"Huh, who are you old man?" Asked Naruto.

"I'm your godfather."

Naruto was stunned before he started crying.

"So I actually have a family." He said while trying to wipe the tears that wouldn't stop coming down.

Jiraiya sighed and crouched down and hugged the boy that was crying his lungs out.

"Don't worry, from today onwards I'll take care of you."

After a couple of minutes, Jiraiya said: "Raiden I'll be going with Naruto to collect his things from his old place. Here meet me in this place tomorrow." and gave him a paper with directions towards somewhere.

"Ah, isn't he coming with us?" asked Naruto who just started to calm down.

"No, he has other things to do" Said Jiraiya before signalling Raiden to leave for now.

Raiden went towards his house to tell his mother about Naruto.
