After leaving their house, Itachi went to inform his father of Raiden's decision.

Fugaku nodded at Itachi's words.

"Ok, That should be acceptable with the elders, they can't pressure him too much anyway and people only use either your last name or first name so it won't matter anyway. I'll inform the elders of my decision of agreeing with him."

Itachi nodded and left the house for his team for missions.

After Fugaku informed the elders of Raiden's decision and condition and how he agreed with him, the elders also had the same line of thought as Fugaku that people will know him as an Uchiha. They agreed and a week later he was officially a part of the Uchiha.

He had changed his name in the record of the village and it all went very smoothly.

Today, he was, as usual, going to meet with Jiraiya to train or take a mission.

After meeting up with him, Raiden asked him about something he was very interested in, Fuinjutsu!

"Sensei, how do I learn Fuinjutsu?"

"Hmm, what's this all of a sudden? Shouldn't you be focusing on mastering your new Jutsu?"

"It's fine, I have already planned my training for mastering the lightning chakra mode. For now, I want to start practising something new. I thought about furthering my knowledge in medical Jutsu, but that would take a big chunk of my time as I need to build experience in the hospital using it.

I've read about Fuinjutsu before and want to start learning it."

"Well, I guess you're in luck, your sensei here is one of the few well-versed in Fuinjutsu in Konoha. Be warned, though, Fuinjutsu isn't easy to learn. It needs a lot of time and effort, it's not like other Jutsu. If you aren't ready to spend years learning it, then it's best you don't."

Raiden nodded his head towards Jiraiya with his look becoming a bit more serious " I am ready to learn sensei."

"Okay then, first, I'll give you a little explanation on what Fuinjutsu exactly is, before telling you how to practice.

Fūinjutsu is a type of Jutsu that seals objects, living beings, chakra, along with a wide variety of other things within another object. Fūinjutsu can also be used to restrict movement or unseal objects either from within something or someone.

The presence of a seal is marked by the appearance of formations of technique formulae, kanji, or else other kinds of symbols, likewise with Summoning Techniques.

A unison of barrier ninjutsu and fūinjutsu is referred to as a "Sealing Barrier", there is a barrier to detect everyone coming in or out of Konoha.

This was possible because of all the great villages, Konoha had a great relationship with the Uzumaki clan with the First Hokage's wife being an Uzumaki. She laid down the barrier at Konoha's foundation.

In a similar fashion to Genjutsu, fūinjutsu can be undone by combining specific seals with a Fūinjutsu: Release command.

Some of the most basic examples on Fuinjutsu is this scroll, you should be familiar with it."

Jiraiya took out a scroll and opened it up and put it on the ground before putting his hand on it and unsealing it with saying release. A kunai was now in Jiraiya's hand.

"That is a storage scroll." Said Raiden who unlike his first mission now knew what it was.

"Indeed. This storage scroll is one of the simplest Fuinjutsu, but it still requires quite some time to be able to make it. At the highest levels of Fuinjutsu, it becomes quite overpowered, which is why the Uzumaki clan was destroyed at the beginning of the Second Great Ninja War, even though they were neutral.

They sold us seals at half price during the First Great Ninja War and it was a huge advantage for Konoha because we could use those seals for supplies not to mention the lethal ones.

A great example of the power of Fuinjutsu at the higher levels is the Jutsu of the fourth Hokage, The Flying Thunder God.

This Jutsu was made by the second Hokage with help from Uzumaki Mito, but it wasn't completed yet which is why it wasn't that known at the second Hokage's time. Minato, using his abilities as a master of Fuinjutsu was able to complete it and use it to become the hero of Konoha in the Third Great Ninja War.

Now that I've given you a little knowledge of what seals could do, I'll tell you how to start training them." Jiraiya got another storage scroll out and released a brush and paper.

"You'll have to practice your Kanji until you are a master at calligraphy. If you mess up a single stroke while making a seal it could all blow up."

Raiden nodded "Then I'll start training in it every night and keep up my schedule for now."

Raiden started a new training regimen with him training his lightning chakra mode and swordsmanship in the day and during missions and training his calligraphy during the night.

Quite some time passed this way and right now it was only a month left for the Chuunin exams!
