Rias immediately turned her head around breathing heavily before looking at the scene again with a strengthened resolve.

Vera on the other hand was speechless while holding her heart in agony. Could she be wrong all this time about Ethan?

Meanwhile Big Brother couldn't but back away from Ethan and his group with fear.

Ethan: Hey you. Didn't you want to join us?

Big Brother with fear consuming him slowly he nodded his head.

Ethan: Very well. You just have to kill this guy then you can join us.

Everyone heart fell hearing this sentence. Vera was even about to speak up when Rias grabbed shaking her head. The very reason Vera stopped was that she could see fear in Rias heart.

Vera: "I was wrong about him. Sniff... sniff"

Vera couldn't help it as she fell to her knees crying softly.

Big Brother was stunned momentarily until he felt a cold feeling hitting his skin lifting his head. He found that Ethan was looking down at him with a cold expression like a statue.

Big Brother: I-i.... I can't.

Ethan: Then you can see why you can't join us. Beat it.

Big Brother: T-Thank you.

Nodding his head and even slightly bowing a little, Big Brother walked to the electronic store followed right by his fellow students leaving the wounded one behind. Some of them wanted to help him, but every time they took a step towards them a cold feeling would cover them putting them inside a frozen cavern.

Ethan: Hmph, what a bunch of morons. Wasting my time.

Vera crying and sobbing on the ground lifted her head up finding that Ethan swinging his sword at the young man on the ground decapitating him.

Vera: NO! Why did you do that!?!!?

Rias no longer held her as she took a step back. Allowing Vera to rush at Ethan only to be lift up by Ethan on her neck.

Ethan: Shut the hell up. From the beginning I told you that I was no saint.

Letting go of her Ethan swinged his sword again cleaning it a bit of the blood on it, before storing it on the sheath on his belt.

Vera: D-Don't you feel bad for doing something like that?

Gasping a little bit for air, Vera managed to sit on the ground glaring at Ethan.

Ethan: Bad? Hahaha..... bad? Hahaha..... I haven't heard something so funny so far. It's for the first time that acting on self-defense to protect my life would result in me feeling bad. Let's do it like this I will **** you right now and in the situation you stop, struggle or scream then you should feel bad for that. That is the least you are saying to me.

Vera world crumbled as her eyes seemed to become dead, before regaining her light shinning brighter than before.

Vera: So you are saying that your act was one of justice?

Ethan: Not of one you are used to but the overall. Of the jungle. Where the strongest rule and live while the weak fear and die.

Vera: Hmm.... I understand sir Ethan. "He was the one in the wrong attacking sir Ethan with the dagger. It was just for self protection."

Ethan: Let's go.

Obtaining the map, Ethan made Vera explain a little bit of it to know about their current situation. They were in a planet similar to Earth. Some of the cultures and knowledge were the same, although there were some things also different.

For example, the city they were in was called Bright Hope. They were currently on the south side.

Ethan: So we are basically on the opposite side of where we need to be.

Vera: Yes.

Ethan: This complicates things a little. How much time would you take to get there by foot?

Vera: Around a 24 hours, but I don't know for sure as I would mostly use the car.

Ethan: Hmmm..... we need to see if we can use vehicles then.

Looking over to his Dimensional Pouch, Ethan could see that the space was not even half filled it's 100 meters space if they were just going to try and do it with crystals of insects. On the other hand if they used all kinds of resources on it would fill instantly.

Ethan: This is a Hypermarket right? Then there should be a parking lot. Where is it Vera?

Vera: There is one underground, sir Ethan.

Ethan: Okay. Let's go check it out.

Rias: But Ethan... even if we can connect and use a car we can't know if we can fuel it. The stations won't be working.

Ethan: We should manage to solve it somehow. Now the most important job is reaching that mansion Vera mentioned. Vera, what useful stores exist in here?

Vera: Maybe the Electronic Store right next to this one. The food stores here only serve fast food so it won't be of any help for supplies. And I think that there is nothing more in the Shopping Center that would help us in any way.

Ethan: Okay... the Electronic Store is because of technology right?

Vera: Yes.

Ethan: Then we can just ignore and progress directly to the parking lot.

Vera: Why?

Rias: We currently don't have anyone specific that could work with that kind of materials. We don't even have a researcher or scientist.

Vera: Oh, I am sorry for suggesting such thing sir.

Ethan: No problem. Let's lunch before continuing our journey.

Vera/Rias: Okay.

While lunching Vera and Rias bonded extremely well getting to know each other, while Ethan ate in quiet thinking things over.

Ethan: "The situation for now is looking good. When I have time I should get some information about the crystals and the insects. They are also of important matter."

Rias: Ethan?

Ethan: Huh?

Rias: We are ready.

Ethan: Oh, let's go.
