Ethan, Rias and Vera gave up their plan to acquire a car/vehicle in the parking lot when they saw that it was in ruins with a large number of insects everywhere and the entrances were blocked by cars.

Going back, the three of them continue scanvenging everywhere killing insects to obtain their crystals and resources like food, water, (…). Until it was night time making the journey back to the appointed location where this time they were the first ones there.

After a while Ethan and Mike group returned with astonished looks when seeing Vera for the first time.

Hugh and Mike could barely contain their laughter and smiles it Mike tired and murderous look with Vera joyful and warm one.

Assessing their situation the entire group possessed 1 bag full of insects crystals without even mentioning of Ethan' Dimensional Pouch.

Ethan: This one is Vera. She is a resident of the region knowing it well. She also guided me and Rias to a Shopping Center where I acquired maps of this region and one of this world.

Hugh: What about the building?

Ethan seeing this breathed a little to recover his energy as he signalized for Vera to continue in his place. Who immediately bowed a little with a bright smile as she stepped forward.

Vera: Hi. Like sir said. My name is Vera. There is a abandoned mansion at the north side of the city on top of a hill. It belonged previously to the Lords that ruled this lands in the past.

Mike: Hmmmm..... the problem now is getting there? A car?

Veronica: It won't be enough with how big our group is.

Martha: Veronica has a point. It needs to be a open pick up truck or others vehicles like that.

Ethan: Hmmm.... "Right now we could use a communication devices to communicate with each other while away... but ones like that aren't normally seen in any normal electronic store..... the militar should have some."

Rias: Ethan?

Ethan: Huh? What is it?

Rias: We are talking about getting to the abandoned mansion.

Ethan: Continue them. Don't think that the living place is the most important matter right now there is a couple of them.

Mike: A truck will do as well.

Martha: The thing is getting them started and about the fuel.

Ethan: Let's do it like this. Vera knows the area better than anyone. Mike take her with your group and search for any still useful gas station then send someone to report back to us. During that time. Hugh. Your group will look for a truck and similar needed for our situation.

Mike: Humm.

Hugh: Okay.

Ethan: Let's rest for now and eat as everyone should be tired after today. Use that time to also relax your muscles as harder times will come from here on.

Saying this Ethan guided all of them inside of the building to the second highest floor to a closed door. Breaking inside there was no one there creating a few traps and defensive manners they started relaxing and talking. Forgetting about everything that was going on.

The next day, Hugh and Mike group departed with Vera tailing on Mike group while Ethan and Rias stood in their place. They had agreed for Ethan to use that time to obtain more information about the insects and crystals.

They could not have researchers or scientists, but they sure had their way.

A book that shows the information of killed creatures and monsters.

At the same time Ethan had another ability that would help in the crystals part.

Analysis.

Gives a short, simple description of the analyzed item, object.

Meanwhile Rias kept watch for any development as any of the groups that left were told that in the case of a success on their objectives to send someone to Ethan know. She didn't stay quiet as she meditated and learned how to use the power of her class she had obtained in the shop.

At lunch time when Rias was giving a plate of food and a water bottle to Ethan she heard sounds coming from bellow.

Going to the window she found Ana and Josephina down there.

Rias: Ethan we are really lucky. The two of them have completed their objective.

Ethan: Hmmm..... tell them to fill the vehicle up. "Mike should also know to utilize this opportunity to get some fuel for now. Let's just hope that the vehicle Hugh found is big enough to carry everything."

Finishing his thoughts and eating, Ethan resumed his attention to the crystals at his hands. The use of Monster Guidebook was easy as it was an object while Analysis was an ability causing him to rest for some time when using it too much.

As the light in the room was becoming darker Ethan finished his business at the same time sounds of a vehicle coming his way were heard.

Getting down the building with Rias, the two of them found a heavy truck coming his way as Hugh was the one driving it waving his hand at them.

BROOOMMM

Hugh: Hey Ethan. Is this enough for you?

Ethan: Nice. How everything went?

Mike: All good. No problem from my side. We found a few insects that we killed along the way while extracting their crystals.

Ethan: Good. I found the use for them and about the insects as well.

Martha: Good.

Ethan: To begin with let's immediately depart to the mansion. Vera you will be the one to drive. Don't worry as we will switch you after some time. Just pay extreme attention to the road and warn to us about anything.

Vera: Yes sir Ethan.

Vera just bowed a little to Ethan as smile was plastered on her face.

Hugh: Ethan.... is there such a hurry to get there?

Martha: Won't it be better to rest for today and do it tomorrow?

Ethan: Yes, but like the saying goes 'Time is money.' And currently we need to use all the time we have. Don't forget that you are just this comfortable and relaxed because of the power you have from that otherwise you would be stressed every day to find a safe location to live in.

Mike: Okay. Then let's also put some with Vera so that she has some company.

Ethan: Okay. Rias you will be the one.

Rias: No problem.

Ethan: Good. We will be in the back.

All of them climbing into the back of the truck while Vera and Rias went to the head as the Heavy Truck took off leaving.

Hugh: So what do you have to tell us?
