The Tael siblings soon arrived at the Lockwood Family home, and Charles's suspicion doubled as he saw Philip standing at the entrance with a smile.

"Good afternoon. It is great you two could make it, you look out of this world Lisa. You just had a photo shoot with Mary Right?" Smiled Philip.

"Indeed I did. Thanks to her amazing skill in fashion; I was able to come here wearing such dazzling clothes. Anyway this is my brother Charles. He is a student at xxx university", smiled Mary as she showed off her brother.

"It is a p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e to meet you", said Charles with a business voice, while shaking Philip's hand.

"So you are the esteemed student of xxx university, and Lisa's elder brother. The only son of the... Tael Family. I have been wanting to meet you for a while", said Philip.

"What an honour. Now why do you wish to see me? Has Lisa caused trouble?" Asked Charles.

"No not at all. I just want to ask some things so do you mind coming with me?"

Charles turned to Lisa and she mouthed, "be careful when leaving".

Charles then said sure, and Philip said to Lisa, "the butler will bring you to where Brittany and Edward are. I will join you three later".

The butler then led Lisa to a room, and inside she saw Edward and Brittany laughing together. Lisa couldn't help but feel a fire light inside her, but she quickly calmed down, walked over, and said, "hello".

"Lisa you're here! You look even more beautiful in person. Me and Edward just saw the pictures you posted", smiled Brittany.

"This girl here thought we were dating. What do you think Miss Tael", said Edward as he walked over to her.

"W-what?" Said Lisa as her face started to turn red.

"How cute", whispered Edward into her ear.

Lisa quickly pushed him away, and said, "this will only cause more misunderstandings. Anyway Brittany how are you?"

"Great! What do you think of my dress? Philip was really kind for doing so much for me, especially at the cost of all of this", smiled Brittany while showing off her dress.

Lisa could tell that the makeup and hair cost hundreds to do, and the dress was in the hundred thousands. 'He probably got all of it for free though through connections, but is still going to deduct it from her salary... But won't that make it so she is paid nothing....' thought Lisa.

"You look stunning! All the boys will fall for you", smiled Lisa.

"N-never! I'm just a small girl trying to make it right now in this big world..."

"Oh come on. Don't talk like that".

Edward could only watch from afar as he thought, 'incredible. She seems so genuine, but is not'.

"Um... Lisa, do you know where Philip is?" Asked Brittany.

"He is currently speaking with someone. He said he will join us soon so let's all sit down", answered Lisa.

-With Charles and Philip-

Philip and Charles sat down in a large library, and Charles asked, "so what do you wish to speak to me about?"

"I want to know your family's secrets", replied Philip.

"And what do you mean by secrets?"

"Simple. It is about the relationship between your family and the McMillan family".

"The company our father works for is part of the McMillan Group, that is all".

"Oh really? Then what about these pictures of your mother and my mother together when they were younger", said Philip as he handed some pictures to Charles.

Charles just sighed, and said, "you already know so why bother me about it. There was also no need to access me through Lisa since you already know my contacts".

"Indeed. While I knew the heir of the McMillan Group, I didn't actually know his true identity until now. We would only ever contact each other through texts, and when we did phone calls you would disguise your voice. Then while I was doing some research on Lisa, I found her family. I asked my parents this morning after doing some investigating, they called your mother and father, and they told me the truth. It came as quite a shock yet for some reason I don't feel surprised. If we were in the same year I would definitely see you as a strong rival, but at the same time you never enrolled at Wellington Rosalyn College".

"Yes. Well now that you know the truth what do you plan on doing now?"

"Nothing for now. I just wanted to meet the esteemed Charles Tael and see what he is like".

"I don't believe that".

"Okay I also wish to invite you to the party tonight. Wouldn't that be great. Number 1 attending a party hosted by me. It would benefit us both".

"My sister would be upset".

"Only if you are overprotective. Plus what if Edward decided to take this as his chance to court Lisa while you're not there. Your sister has already left the nest, you're now going to let her leave your heart?"

"Dammit... You know how to use your words. Fine I will accept your invitation".

"Perfect. I will have a room prepared, and the maids will bring you a suit and get you ready".

"Thank you".

Charles left and Philip could only chuckle as he thought about Lisa's surprised face. He then called over the butler to confirm some things, and also got the contract ready for Brittany to sign.

-With Lisa and the rest-

"Ah yes. Oh by the way Edward. You have been inside Philip's room before right?" Smiled Lisa.

"Yes? Why do you ask?"

"Do you mind giving me a tour?"

"Shouldn't Philip do that?"

"Well..."

"If you are trying to find blackmail I am afraid you won't find any", said Philip.

"P-Philip! You're back", shouted Brittany.

"Correct, no need to shout".

"Well speak of the devil. What did you talk about with Lisa's brother?" Asked Edward.

"That is what we call confidential".

"Well is that so..." Said Lisa.

"Anyway let's have a nice time together before the party starts", smiled Philip.

-6 pm-

Soon people began pouring in. All of high class and talent

Lisa couldn't help but feel fidgety as she saw the faces of the people there, but... Then she saw Charles.

He was wearing a navy blue suit with his dark brown hair slicked back, giving him a handsome and m.a.t.u.r.e look. When the two stood together they stood out like two sparkling diamonds, and many started to greet them. Since Lisa couldn't ask Charles why he was there due to the people around them; she could only play it off as she quietly hid her discomfort.

When Lisa saw her chance she took Charles to a corner and asked, "what in the world are you doing here?"

"Why are you so upset Lisa? Aren't you happy I am here?" Said Charles while pouting.

"Brother, do not play around, I am asking you properly so answer properly".

"Fine then... Philip asked me to come here and I couldn't refuse him".

Lisa sighed, gave her brother a glare then said, "do anything annoying and I'll tell mum you were being over possessive again".

"I will..."

"When?"

"...I'm only trying to protect you from those who try to harm you".

"I can take care of myself".

"... Fine, I will be sure not to bother you during the party..."

"Good. You better-".

"Good evening Lisa", smiled Albert as he walked over to the Tael siblings.

"Good evening Albert. Let me introduce you to my brother Charles", said Lisa politely.

"I have heard many rumors about you", said Albert while shaking Charles's hand.

"I have heard many about you too", replied Charles.

"C-Charles, h-hello. Um, it is an honour to meet you", said Brittany.

'Where did she come from?' Thought Lisa while Albert obviously showed his discomfort.

"So you actually turned up. To think you would have the guts", hissed Albert.

'She was personally invited by Philip. It's not like she had a choice', thought Lisa.

"Well... Lisa you know Charles?" Said Brittany as she tried to avoid Albert.

"Well of course I know my elder brother", said Lisa with pity showing in her eyes.

"Isn't it obvious the two are siblings. They look identical and have the same last name", said Edward wryly.

"And here I was thinking you were smarter", sighed Philip.

'Well it looks like they're ganging up on her now', thought Lisa.

"Now now, do not gang up on the poor girl. She is new to this world so be a bit more gentle on her now", said Charles as he brought Brittany closer to him.

'W-wait... Charles cant be a love interest no way in the world can I let that happen!!' Thought Lisa.

She hurriedly said with a cute voice to Charles, "big brother. Can you get me some sweets?"

Charles could feel a stab in his heart as he happily said, "sure!"

'Phew. This trick will always work", thought Lisa.

When she looked away she realised that there were others there. Lisa froze and could only turn red in embarrassment as she wished she could jump in a hole.

'Why did I have to let such an embarrassing act be seen?!' Thought Lisa.

After a few seconds the others let out a chuckle, and Philip laughed, "Lisa are you secretly a bro-con?"

"No! The thought haunts me!" Replied Lisa.

They continued to laugh and Lisa could only die from embarrassment.

Philip then checked his watch and said, "it is now that time. Brittany do you mind coming with me?"

"... S-sure", answered Brittany.

As they left music started to play, and Edward took Lisa's hand then asked, "do you mind sharing a dance with me?"

Lisa could feel her heart throb at his gesture and felt grateful she took those dancing lessons. Well it's not like she had a choice ever since her father got a high position but still.

Lisa could only shyly say yes as Albert said, "can't they show all of that sweetness behind closed doors? I wonder if Mary is here?"

Lisa and Edward were soon on the dance floor; with the bright lights shining on them, making them look like a perfect couple.

Once Lisa had realised what was happening she thought, 'this is interesting... At first I thought I was going to have to go through a lot of trouble to get rid of them but now... I am contracted to one of them... And maybe with... Damn out of all the times to act weak why is it now?!'

Lisa tried to calm herself as she said, "so... You look handsome today".

Edward could feel his heart melt at the adorable sight and shyly said, "y-you l-look beautiful too".

Lisa straightened her posture and said in her most m.a.t.u.r.e and seducing voice, "thank you".

Edward's ears turned red and Lisa giggled.

'This is kind of fun', thought Lisa who then continued to tease him.

Edward felt like as if he could collapse at the sudden attack, and he soon realised what Lisa was doing. 'So this is the game you want to play... Then let's play', thought Edward.

The music ended and he brought Lisa back to the room they were in before the party, and pinned her against the wall. After observing the way Lisa interacted with Brian he had found out that she was a sucker to... Cuteness.

Edward stayed silent and lowered his head as he pinned Lisa and she could only say, "Edward! Are you okay?!"

Edward slowly lifted his head, and with slightly wet eyes he said, "Lisa, did you wish to kill me out there with all of those words?"

Lisa could feel her heart shaking as she thought, 'I shouldn't have done that!!'

Lisa regretted her decisions as Edward then chuckled and threw her to the couch. "So your type is cute boys huh?"

The shy Edward was soon replaced by a more vicious one as Lisa shivered under is words which were said in a seducing voice.

"Y-you..."

"You started the battle Miss Tael. And I will win the war", smiled Edward.

"... Don't you have some people to greet..."

"I have already done that so now I want to be with you".

'Dammit this boy! I'm not going to let you win this war!' Thought Lisa.

"I'm glad", smiled Lisa while moving her body in a cute yet hot way.

"Y-you..."

'Aha! The tables have turned!' Thought Lisa.

"What's wrong? Are you perhaps falling for me?" Smiled Lisa.

"No... Actually I am the one catching you from fainting. After all you must be over joyed at this right?" Said Edward.

"Not as much as you".

"Oh really, well-".

"Lisa... What are you doing?" Said a familiar voice.

"B-Brian?!" Stuttered Lisa.

"What are you doing here", growled Edward.

"Wait... Are you two... A couple?" Pouted Brian.

"No! It's just he annoyed me so I wanted to get revenge!" Answered Lisa.

'You're trying to place the blame on me?! You were the one who started this!' Thought Edward.

"But the way you two were acting was like a couple", said Brian.

"So what", said Edward as he hugged Lisa's waist.

"Edward! Let me go!" Shouted Lisa who was glad the room was far from the party.

"Don't want to", said Edward in a childlike voice.

Brian then went over and took Lisa away. He gave Edward a glare and quickly took Lisa away as Edward could only grumble in annoyance.

"You might like her but you shouldn't have provoked Brian like that", said a figure in the doorway.

"Brodie Hobson. Where were you hiding during all of this?" Asked Edward.

"You fools don't notice anything when caught up in the moment".

"Well what might the amazing teacher want now?" Said Edward in a mocking voice.

"You shouldn't talk to one like that".

"So you don't count?"

"Sometimes I feel like I don't. I'm going to stop being an a.d.u.l.t for a moment", said Brodie as he flopped onto the other couch.

"You really like her don't you", said Brodie.

"Can't help it".

"I wonder what that is like. I haven't felt love ever since I became a teacher. Just never felt like it".

"And why is that?"

"Past girlfriend still haunts my dreams".

"You still can't get over her".

"It's impossible... Do you remember when all three of us used to play in the garden. Us two would always take care of you like parents since you were younger".

"She didn't want that in the end so she left".

"Edward... What would you do if Lisa left you? Just got up and left".

"I would search for her to the ends of the earth and take her back".

"If I only I did the same as you... But now she's gone despite the fact she never wanted to leave".

"Just forget it already. Can't you pretend like as if she just left because she no longer wanted you. Not because she had to".

"No matter how hard I try it never seems to work".

"Then move on and learn from your lesson. She wouldn't be happy if she found out you were still miserable".

"You're right, Ellie wouldn't like that... Why in the world am I asking a high schooler for help?"

"Because it's me, your childhood friend".

Edward left and Brodie quietly muttered, "now that I think about it... Ellie is quite similar to Brittany".

Meanwhile Charles couldn't help but record the conversation Edward and Brodie just had. Who knew finding his sister would lead to discovering this.
