When Zena came around, she was in the middle of a forest, with trees that towered into the skies.

'Where am I?' She looked around and saw a pond rippling slightly, giving the forest an almost otherworldly beauty.

She walked to the pond and looked into it and immediately lost her train of thought.

Curly emerald hair that fell to her slim waist, perfectly symmetrical face, cherry red lips, and phoenix eyes with a near divine shade of green pupils.

Her bust however was modest and her legs pale and shimmering in the sunlight streaming down from the canopy of trees above.

Zena smiled slightly while looking at her eyes, noticing they were no longer black and smiled, making her look like a fairy descended to the mortal realm.

She tilted her head and called out to her status while crouching and washing her hands in the pond.

"Status."

[ Name : Zena Epi

Species : Plague Demon

Rank : ☆ ]

Zena looked at the screen and furrowed her brows.

"What does the star mean? What happened to my rank 10 nucleus?"

"Then what happened to my nucleus? Is it still there?"

"Bring up all passives, and why didn't you tell me it was active!"

[ Passives :

Great Bewitching Technique : Uses charm to overpower and dominate an entity's soul

Plague God Aura : Descending from the origin of all plagues, you can kill anything that doesn't have adequate resistance

Demonic Soul Steal : Uses demonic energy to seal and consume souls of mortals, banning the soul from reincarnation and tying the demon the soul made the pact with to their pact

Apathy : Emotions are a hindrance to a being such as yourself, so you are not allowed to feel them, only extreme emotions may show in case of extreme peril or danger ]

Besides each passive was an explanation and a toggle button that had a y and n next to it.

"Deactivate Plague God Aura!" Zena screamed inwardly while watching the grass shrivel and die and trees rot and wither away.

A thunderclap sounded out overhead as Zena looked to the sky and cried, causing black tears to slide down her face and hit the ground.

'I'm not a human, I never was, so whatever I must do to find my child, I will.'

Zena's face which showed emotions soon became a mask of calm as she looked at her system interface.
