Love Is So Sweet

Chapter 1 - The day we met

It was a Sunday afternoon, a rather slender looking woman with long raven black hair had just finished talking to her psychiatrist. This woman was Lisa Chu, a writer of mystery novels. Though nowadays she was trying to write a romance novel because the editor in chief of the publishing company that she works for, which mainly does web novels wanted her to write a romance novel. They claim that with her writing style, she could make a fantastic romance novel.

Lisa wasn't really opposed to the idea of changing the genre she writes. To her this was a chance to try and become a better writer, to see what else she can write.

...

After her talk with her psychiatrist, Lisa headed towards the cafeteria to eat her pack lunch that she made herself this morning before leaving.

She even brought her own water that she herself distilled. The reason she had done all this was because of her fear of eating and drinking things that she herself hasn't made.

Lisa who reached the cafeteria found an empty table in the corner and sat there. She placed her bag on the side and took out her pack lunch and water. As Lisa was opening up her pack lunch she heard someone talk to her.

"Hi, can I sit here with you?" A man who looked to be close to her age asked was smiling at her. He was a pretty handsome man with a diamond-shaped face and deep black eyes. Lisa also noticed that he was wearing a patient's robe. Lisa then started to look around and saw that there was no table available at the moment. She really didn't want the man to sit with her, but it looks like she had no choice.

Lisa simply gestured for the man to sit down.

"Thank you." The man smiled at Lisa as he sat down. Lisa was about to begin eating her lunch but before she could take a bite, the man spoke interrupting her.

"Hi, I'm Tang Jun if you want you can just call me Jun, what's your name?" Jun looked at Lisa with a smile on his face waiting for a reply, but Lisa didn't even look at him as she started eating her pack lunch.

"Oh, ok then..." Jun stopped talking for a while as he started eating as well.

"So what you here for? I just had an executive check-up. It wasn't anything big, I just had a little-" Jun kept the conversation going on his own. While Lisa just kept on eating as Jun kept on talking. Even though Jun noticed that Lisa wasn't really listening he just kept on going on and on, he wanted to see if he can somehow catch her interest.

Lisa had finally finished her meal and hurriedly stood up and took her bag, wanting to get away as fast as she can. But before she could leave, she hit the side of the table, making her trip. Jun reacted quickly and caught Lisa as she was about to fall. His arms might have looked thin, but Lisa who was being supported by him felt that those skinny looking arms were so powerful. Now that she was being held by him she could actually feel how muscular his hands were. Also as he was so close to her, Lisa could smell the natural body fragrance he had, and it smelled really good. Now that she got a good look at him, she could really tell how handsome he was.

"Are you alright?" Jun who caught Lisa looked at her a bit worried. Lisa was still in a dazed state, as she continued to blankly stare at Jun. Seeing her like that made Jun worried as he spoke once more, "Hey, are you alright?" Lisa finally waking up from her dazed state, didn't respond but her face turned bright red as she pushed Jun aside stood up bowed at him and stormed off.

Jun looked a bit surprised at Lisa leaving and smiled. He remembered the face she had before she stormed off, it was an unbelievably cute face. He has seen his fair share of beautiful girls, cute girls, sophisticated type girls, and other types, but for some reason, he felt that the woman he just met and didn't speak a word to him look way cuter than any other woman he has met.

As he was thinking about Lisa's adorable reaction, Jun was about to sit down saw a notebook on the floor, which was most probably hers. He then ran towards the direction Lisa left, but he couldn't find her.

'That lady sure can run.' Jun then checked the contents of the notebook to see if there was any information about the lady he just met. Written on the first page of the notebook, he saw a name which was written with very good handwriting.

Love is so sweet by: Lisa Chu.

'Lisa Chu where have I heard that name before?... Hmmm... What else is in here, there might be an address or something. Nothing huh, maybe if I wait around here, she'll come back for it.'

Jun took the notebook and went back to the cafeteria waiting for the girl who dropped it to come back.
