Love Is So Sweet

Once Lisa was done with her look around the park, she decided to keep watching a bit more. It was already three o'clock in the afternoon, as Jun continued to accompany Lisa on her quest to look at lovey-dovey scenes.

Every now and again Lisa would have a question and Jun would answer, they kept on doing this for a few more hours. Even though all they've been doing was watching other people that pass through the park, it didn't feel boring at all. Jun who would usually feel a bit irritated at this point was actually enjoying himself as he answered Lisa's questions.

Lisa found it interesting to watch couples come and go while doing random things in the park, on the other hand, Jun found Lisa's reactions quite fun. It was like watching a live reaction video on y*utube. They continued to do this for a few more minutes and then Jun said he needed to go and use the public toilet.

"Alright, I'll wait for you here, I just need to reread some of the things I wrote and we can leave." After saying that, Lisa went straight to reading, while Jun left.

As she was reading her notes, Lisa felt someone tap her shoulder. She thought it was Jun and turned around only to see a random person she doesn't know smiling at her. Lisa was bewildered as she didn't know what to do in this situation.

"What you reading there Ms.?" The man suddenly asked as he sat down in front of Lisa.

"..." Lisa didn't bother to answer and wanted to leave, but she remembered that she told Jun she would wait for him here. So she took out her phone and was about to call him when the man continued to talk to her.

"I'm sorry did I frighten you? It's alright, I'm not a bad person or anything. I was just interested in what you were reading."

"..." Lisa still remained silent as she called Jun on her phone. The man then suddenly grabs a hold of her arm which shocked her. She instinctually slaps the man. The people were now noticing the commotion and started to gather around them.

"I'm sorry, we're just having a bit of a lovers quarrel, no need to bother. My girlfriend over here is just having a bad day." The man suddenly proclaimed. Most of the people believed what he said since many incidents of lovers quarrels do happen in this park. Some didn't believe him, but they didn't want to do anything since if this was really a lovers' quarrel and they meddle in it, they'll just embarrass themselves. It's not like the guy is doing anything bad to the girl, in fact, it was the woman who attacked him. So the crowd dispersed.

The man went closer to Lisa and whispered in her ear. "Now look at what you've done. I was just going to invite you to a cool place where you could read a lot of books, but then you turned violent. Is that any way to treat someone being nice to you."

'This guy is crazy!' Lisa was really scared now, and kicked the man's shin and started running away. Lisa headed to the public toilet since she knew Jun was there, as she was running she was also calling Jun using her phone. When Jun picked up, the man was able to catch up and this time held Lisa's joints as he hugged her from behind.

To an outsider when they looked at this scene, it just looks like two lovers were hugging in a very sweet way. The man then whispered to Lisa. "Now you're really testing my patience. If only you talked to me normally and didn't ignore me we could've avoided all these misunderstandings. Well, let's just get to know each other a bit better now."

Lisa struggled to get free but the man was too strong for her. As the man was about to do something, someone suddenly came and punched the man's face. The grip he had on Lisa loosened and she was able to escape. When she looked at who rescued her, she was happy to see it was Jun.

The man who was punched stumbled a bit and then looked at Jun. He looked at Jun with the eyes of a crazy person. "Who's this? Have you've been cheating on me you b*tch!" When the man shouted this it drew a crowd. The people who were watching thought that Lisa was cheating on the man and the two guys were her lovers fighting over her.

Jun sighed when he saw the commotion the man was starting up, he was trying to make Lisa look like the bad guy. 'This guy has a few screws loose.' Jun then approached the man in a casual walk.

"What are you going to do with me?! Are you going to hit me some more?! You b*stard that stole my girlfriend!" Jun then looked at Lisa who was shivering in fear, this made him sigh again. Jun then took hold of the man's shoulder and sweeps the man's legs, forcing the man onto the ground. Jun then proceeded to pin the man onto the ground. The man who couldn't react to Jun's movement started shouting angrily. Jun wasn't bothered by this and calmly looked at Lisa.

"Ms. Lisa, please call the police." Lisa who was stunned alongside everyone who was watching was jolted awake by what Jun said. She then got a hold of her phone and called the police. The people who were watching got a bit more confused about the situation and had several theories about what was happening.

A few minutes later the police arrived and started to question Lisa and Jun about what happened. Lisa was having a hard time talking since she was still disturbed by the situation, it was then she felt Jun's hands holding hers. She looked at Jun and saw him smile, reassuring her that everything will be alright. Lisa gaining a bit more courage started to explain how the man suddenly talked to her and said random things, and then started grabbing her. She told the police everything the man said.

The police officer who was holding onto the angry man found that he was in possession of some crystal meth. Once that was found on him the whole thing became easier. After questioning the other eyewitnesses, the police officers had a clearer picture of what happened. They were even able to get video footage from the surrounding cameras in the park. Once they were done with gathering enough evidence, one of the police officers offered Lisa and Jun a ride to the hospital if need be, but Lisa rejected the offer. After a few more questions, the police officers left with the drug addict.

Lisa who was still rattled by the entire experience felt Jun's warm hands and felt a bit better. 'I think I kind of understand now, how holding hands is a lovey-dovey scene.'
