Love Is So Sweet

After shopping for half a day with Lisa, Jun came home with a lot of new items. That was the first time he actually had fun shopping. What made it so fun was teasing Lisa all throughout the endeavor. He also bought a lot of things because of Lisa's reactions when he wore them. 

While Jun was happily remembering the day's activities his phone started to ring. He took a look at the caller id and sighed. 

"Hey, big bro is it true?! Did you really find a girlfriend! Big bro that only knows how to act like a playboy but doesn't really get along well with women, actually found a girlfriend?! Is she an alien or some monster?" Jun's little brother Tang Wei, suddenly spoke a barrage of words in quick succession.

"Whoah, calm down Wei, what the heck are you talking about? Slow down so I can understand it." 

"Tell me the truth big bro, did you get abducted by aliens?" Hearing Tang Wei still speaking nonsense, made Jun frown. 

"Huh? Seriously what the hell are you talking about?! Speak normally or I'll hang up." 

Through the speaker of his phone, Jun could hear Tang Wei trying to calm himself down by inhaling and exhaling. Once he was relatively calm, Tang Wei spoke. 

"Big bro, do you really have an actual living human girlfriend?" 

"Why do you sound like it's impossible for me to have a girlfriend, also what kind of girlfriend can I have aside from a human one?"

"It's because... It's you know... It's you, we're talking about. You haven't had an actual romantic relationship that involved you calling the other party your girlfriend. Also, I for one always thought that big bro would end up with a parrot for a wife. But that's beside the point, you still haven't answered me, do you really have a girlfriend?" The words that came out of Tang Wei's mouth sounded like a joke, but he was saying all these things with a serious tone.

"We need to have a long talk about all these weird things you think about me... But yeah, I do have a girlfriend now." 

"What's she like, and when can I meet her?" 

"She's pretty cool, and I don't think you'll be able to meet her anytime soon seeing how shy she is." 

"Really? I was hoping to see what kind of woman my picky son has approved of." Jun was surprised to hear the voice on the other side changed. It was no longer his brother Tang Wei that's on the phone. 

"It's a little bit too early for me to introduce her to you, mother. When the time is right I will introduce her... but not for now." The person on the phone right now was Alisa Tang Jun's mother.  

"Well, I guess I'll meet her when you feel comfortable introducing me to her. For now, I'm glad that you're able to find a person you can actually fall in love with." Alisa spoke with a kind and gentle tone. 

Hearing what his mother said actually made Jun's heart hurt a bit. It was true that he was interested in Lisa, but he wouldn't call that love... Still, he needed to act the part of a madly in love person, even lie to his mother.

"Yeah, she's someone special to me. I'm glad that I met her." After thinking for a bit, Jun was able to give Alisa an answer that was misleading but at the same time the truth. 

"I see..."

The mother and son then started to talk about random things. About Jun's everyday life, and how was he adapting to his new environment. Jun answered that everything was a bit daunting at first, but now he was used to it. It's not like his current life in a penthouse was much different from the life he had back home. 

After talking a bit more, Alisa was reluctant to say goodbye and asked, "Jun won't you come home?" 

"Mother... I really do want to go home, if it's only for you and Wei, but you do know the reason I can't return." 

"It was just a little misunderstanding, your elder brother didn't really-" 

"Mom enough! I know we're all your sons, and I understand that you think he can do no wrong, but... Whatever... I don't want to talk about this. Goodbye, mom... I love you." 

Jun heard Alisa trying to say something but he already ended the call. Once he was done talking Jun sighed. A few minutes later while he was trying to cool his head, he heard his phone ringing again. 

This time it was one of his friends calling him on his phone. 

"What do you want Matt?" 

"Oh someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed. No need to be so snarky. Just want to ask if you're free tomorrow, I and some guys from work want to have a paintball match. We're missing one more player, so what do you say?" 

"Sorry, I have other plans." 

"Are you and Edrea going out on a date? Well, I guess if that's the reason, I can't do anything about it." 

Jun didn't really want to tell Matthew about Lisa, but knowing him he would find out one way or another, so better he is the one that tells him than somebody else. 

"Like I said Edrea and I aren't a thing. I just see her as a friend." 

"Yeah, a very hot friend." Jun could practically see Matthew smirking at this very moment. 

"Besides, I already have a girlfriend, and tomorrow we're having a date." 

"Huh?... Wait, What!" Matthew suddenly shouted at his phone. Jun found it weird that everyone reacted this way upon finding out about him having a girlfriend. Jun then started to explain to Matthew about Lisa.
