Love Is So Sweet

After talking for a bit Jeniffer and Matthew hit it off quite nicely. Lisa who was observing and writing down everything that was said was surprised by this sudden development. She couldn't understand how the atmosphere between the two changed so quickly. She was watching every single moment of it, but she couldn't discern at what part of the conversation triggered them being a bit closer. 

Jun, on the other hand, was amused as he watched the three interact with each other. It was like he was watching a random episode from some random eighties sitcom.

"Hey, I thought you wanted to meet my girlfriend, not my girlfriend's friend." Jun suddenly interjected after watching Jeniffer and Matthew go on and on for forty minutes. The two finally stopped talking and looked at Jun. 

Lisa also looked at Jun with a glare. She was getting so much material from watching the two, why did he need to stop them. Jun could pretty much read Lisa's mind when he saw her glaring at him, so he avoided her gaze. 

"Oh right, I'm sorry about that." Matthew scratched his head as he smiled awkwardly at Jun. 

"I guess I need to apologize as well. I'm sorry, but shouldn't you two been flirting the whole time we were talking?" Jeniffer apologized and then assaulted Lisa and Jun with a question. Lisa was panicking a bit as she didn't know how to answer that question, but Jun remained calm and gave an answer. 

"It's as if you don't know my girlfriend very well. Lisa likes observing those kinds of interactions. So as her boyfriend I shouldn't disturb her as she pursues her interest, don't you think so?" 

"But you guys just got together a few days ago, surely you want to monopolize her attention." 

"What kind of guy do you think I am?" 

"The shallow kind," Jeniffer answered with a smirk on her face. After Jeniffer said those words Jun and Jeniffer started to bicker like a pair of siblings. This surprised Lisa even more than how quickly Jeniffer got along with Matthew. 

The Jun Lisa knew wasn't someone like this, he was always the cool, calm, and collected type of person. He was practically a manga character come to life. That's what she thought when they first met, but seeing him right now made her feel a bit weird. Seeing him acting quite differently from normal was a treat. 

'Is this a special ability of Jeniffer's?' Lisa then started to add some details to Jeniffer's character in her novel.

Jun who was arguing with Jeniffer finally noticed what he was doing. He then showed a bright smile and said, "I guess you're right Ms. Jeniffer." Even though he looked like he was still calm, in the inside he was a bit angry at himself. 

'Why the hell did I start arguing with this woman?' 

"You finally listening to reason? Well, I guess it's better late than never. Also no need to call me Miss, you're the boyfriend of my girl here, so you just need to call Jeniffer, or better yet just call me Jenny." 

Hearing the first part of what Jeniffer said made Jun a bit angry but he held it in. "Alright then, Jenny."

While Jeniffer and Jun were talking, Matthew was trying his hardest to communicate with Lisa. But he remained unsuccessful as Lisa's attention was on Jun.

'She must really like Jun.' Seeing Lisa's sparkling eyes as he watched Jun and Jeniffer talking, Matthew misunderstood the situation. 

"So Lisa, what do you want to do next?" Seeing Jeniffer and Jun's conversation was coming to an end, Matthew tried to talk to Lisa again. Lisa finally noticing Matthew talking to her, shyly lowered her head.

"... I was planning to go home after this since I already have a lot of notes." Lisa finally gave Matthew an answer.

'Notes?' 

"Isn't it too early to go home? We just met and I really want to know more about you. How about the four of us do something together?" Matthew tried his hardest to less menacing in the eyes of Lisa, as he said this. 

"What do you want to do?" Instead of Lisa, it was Jeniffer who answered. 

"I know a place where we can have fun and bond at the same time." When Jun heard what Matthew said he could pretty much guess where they were going.
