Love Will Lead You Back

Alice was so excited to live in their new home, thanks to Ji An, they will be living in a bigger house instead of a small flat. "Wow, Eric! You really are trying to impress your wife huh'." She wasn't mocking him just teasing before she turned her attention to Ji An, "I'm still mad at you Ji for leaving the reception of your own wedding! You will tell me all about it okay!"

Eric came to his wife's defence, "Leave her alone Alice," he said calmly, "She already explained everything to me," he just wanted to forget about it, he was afraid to know other reason behind it. What she said was enough for him and he doesn't want to question her anymore.

Ji An smiled at the siblings, "It's okay. She's not just my best friend you know, now, she is also my sister in law." She chuckled and gave Alice a teasing look.

The house Eric bought for her was placed under her name, it's her very first property. Her husband had it fully furnished and ready for her to move in. He also had her belongings to be transferred from their old flat to their new house. Its interior was designed by a famous interior designer that Eric hired and decorated it with Alice's help. All he wanted was for Ji An to like it and for her to be happy.

Alice and Ji An unpacked their things while Eric cooked dinner for them. Sofia was with him in her high chair. He truly enjoys being a dad and looking after Sofia. Eric was the one to pick her name, Sofia Elise Lewis and Ji An agreed to it instantly. Compare to Cheng Ze, he is more m.a.t.u.r.e, more understandable, more dependable, more patient and way richer than Cheng Ze. Eric owns his own company, while Cheng Ze is still an heir waiting for his father to transfer everything to him then he will be even with Eric. The only thing that Cheng Ze have more than he has.. he is Sofia's real father and of course he has Ji An's heart, mind and he had her first. Though on physical appearance, they are both handsome in their own way. Cheng Ze is just a little taller than Eric. Both of them have a really nice body.

While she was unpacking and sorting her things out, Alice went to Ji An's room to ask her regarding her leaving the wedding reception, "Hey, Ji, where did you go that night?" she sat on the sofa in Ji An's room, "You know me, I'm not gonna drop this until I'm satisfied with your answer." Her voice was sure determined and a bit demanding.

Ji An calmed herself before speaking because she doesn't want to mess it up and be caught by her best friend. "Well... my mother wanted to see me. She asked her people to come and get me so we can talk privately. She congratulated me and she left the next morning. I spent the night with her and came home early. I know I shouldn't have left but—"

Alice cut her off as she did not believe every single word of what she said, "It's okay! If Eric accepted that explanation, it's okay! But I know you... who did you spend that night with?" She spoke in a more serious tone.

"What are you trying to say, Alice? Are you implying that I'm lying?" Ji An's face went serious as she did not like what Alice had said. She knows what she did but Alice doesn't know anything, there is nothing to admit to her.

"We will talk again when Eric is not around." she stood up and turned around facing the door, "I'm not dropping this, just to let you know." She then looked back at Ji An before she left the room and strut outside.

It made Ji An think and she sat on the bed, 'What does she know? Did she saw me or Cheng Ze? Oh god no... there is no way she could have known, right?' she held her forehead as she walked back and forth inside her bedroom.

Eric entered their room to call Ji An to come down and have some food, "Ji An, my love, food is ready. Come and eat. I'll get Alice." He interrupted her thinking as he gave her a hug and a kiss on her hair.

She hugged him back and told him that she would just finish what she was doing and she will follow him to eat with them. Eric let her go and went to Alice's room to call her too.

In the dining table, Sofia was sitting on her high chair with a baby toy on her hand, it seemed like she's been fed already. Eric really looks after her and he really is a good dad. Ji An, Alice and Eric sat on the dining table and they started eating while Sofia plays with her toys. The three of them chatted with random things while they eat dinner.

That night, they slept together in their bed, while Sofia was in her own room next to theirs. Eric was making his move to Ji An trying to make love with her but Sofia kept on crying wanting to be with them in their bed. She was not letting him have his ways to Ji An. In the end, he gave up and put Sofia in between them while Ji An laughed at him as he got frustrated.

"Our daughter doesn't want a sibling huh'. When can I have my beautiful wife? I have been waiting for quite a long time." Eric laughed as he complained.

"You already had me, Eric! That's why we have Sofia." She teased Eric and laughed with her husband.

"That's not right Ji. That is not fair. Come on, that's a long time ago. We've been married for 9 months and there is always something stopping it from happening. Our wedding night was supposed to be for me, for us, but you spend it with your mother. I really want you, Mrs Ji An Lewis." He kissed her but little Sofia tried to push him away from Ji An, she wanted to play with her daddy and mummy.

Ji An felt guilty and wanted to make it up to him, she doesn't want her husband to be miserable because of this, "Let's get Alice to watch Sofia and we can spend a day and night together, only the two of us! What do you say hmm?" Ji An tried to pacify him and make him happy, after all, all Eric has done was to make her happy and live a comfortable life.

He sensed that Ji An wasn't really avoiding it, it's just he couldn't have the perfect timing, "Yeah okay. We'll do that. I'll wait a bit longer then. Goodnight my love." He kissed Ji An her forehead and hugged Sofia to stop her from playing. It didn't take them long and they were all fast asleep.

Cheng Ze's POV

After the night Cheng Ze slept with Ji An, he left London and went back to Beijing the following evening. He will probably have to explain to his father why he left his engagement announcement. Though it was giving him a headache, he was happy and a smile appears on his face every time he remembers what happened between him and Ji An. He may not be her husband but he was pleased with what he did. He had her first and he was responsible for taking her v.i.r.g.i.n.i.t.y and apparently he had her in his villa, though he had no memory of it and now he had her on her wedding night. Though it may be selfish of him, who cares. To him, what he did, he did them because he loves her and he knows that she loves him too. The only thing he couldn't understand was why did she choose that guy over him?
