Love Will Lead You Back

Cheng Ze felt disappointed, he really wanted to know how she felt about it, "Okay. It was nothing important anyway. I think you should get ready. You still have to take Sofia to school right? If you want, I'll drive you both to school. Or I can just take her to school."

Ji An looked at him, she needed to find a house so she accepted his offer without hesitation, "Okay, if it doesn't bother you then please drop her off to school."

He smiled at her, "If it's you or Sofia, I'm okay with anything. I'll wait for her downstairs." Not waiting for her reply, he went left.

Ji An woke Sofia up to prepare her for school. "Uncle Cheng Ze will take you to school today, is that okay?"

Sofia's eyes lit up, "Really? Daddy will take me to school today?" she got all excited and rushed to get ready.

"Hmm... You really like him, don't you? Be a good girl okay. I'll pick you up later okay." She combed her daughter's hair and tie it in a high pony tail.

Both of them head downstairs, Cheng Ze was waiting for Sofia. He greeted her with a warm smile and told her, "Eat some breakfast before you go to school. We still have plenty of time and I'll be taking you to school today!"

Sofia felt giddy and excited hearing it from him, "Mummy told me. I'm so excited. Can I tell my classmates that you are my daddy?"

Cheng Ze looked at Ji An with his handsome smile asking her for permission.

Ji An felt a little embarrassed, she doesn't want to trouble him with her business, "Sofia that is not right. Don't trouble uncle Cheng Ze. Okay?" she tried to talk her daughter out of it.

"I'm okay with it if your mummy is okay with it too." he smiled and looked at the both of them.

It put Ji An on the spot making her a little nervous for some reason, "..." She doesn't know what to say, but when her mouth opened she replied, "Okay!" by the time she realised that she replied, Sofia was already jumping in joy.

"Thank you, mummy. I now have a mummy and daddy. I wish both of you can take me to school one day." she was so happy with her mother's approval.

The pair left and Ji An was left behind, she got herself ready to view the houses she set appointments with.

Madam Gu started the legal proceedings to remove Ji An from their family tree quietly. She summoned their lawyers to discuss what has to be done. She wanted Ji An not to be affiliated with her. Meaning she will turn Ji An into an orphan. Also, she asked the lawyer to bury her marriage with Ji Ans father. She doesn't want any conflict when Cheng Ze and Ji An announce their engagement. Since Cheng Ze is the father of her grandchild, her daughter, Ji An must marry him, it's the right thing to do.

It sounds ridiculous that she has to disown her own daughter, turn her into an orphan and into a daughter in law. But that is the only way for them. Even if Ji An will come to hate her, she will eventually know that she did it for her and for her daughter. She then might understand why she has to do it in such a way.

Now, the problem to solve next is letting her know that Cheng Ze is Sofia's dad. How is she going to do that without making Ji An furious? She might run away from them if the news will be delivered in a wrong way, she is very good at running away after all.

Meiling can't put her granddaughter through all that, running away thing with her mother. Her plan is to make Sofia really close to Cheng Ze. To the point that she will invite her dad to their own home. 'Oh I forgot, how will I kick her out of the house? What excuse should I use... Hmmm...' "Why am I playing as their cupid? Oh, these kids. What am I gonna do with both of you?" She shook her head feeling sorry for Ji An and Cheng Ze.

When Ji An came home, she started to pack their things. Since they don't have a lot to pack, she did it quite fast.

While she was out earlier, she bought and ordered stuff to be delivered to their new house. She finally found a house that suits her taste. On Saturday they'll be moving out. That is also the day Cheng Ze will take Sofia out for a day.

In that case, moving home will be quite easy. Cheng Ze can take Sofia back to their new home but she has to tell her mother that she will be moving real soon and she not like it.

At dinner time, Ji An, Sofia and Cheng Ze sat next to each other again. Madam Gu planned to tell Ji An that she wanted her out of the house as soon as possible, she just couldn't bring herself to speak first.

However, Ji An spoke first, "Ma, we're moving out on Saturday." she smiled at her mother sweetly.

It caught Madam Gu by surprise, "Oh, so soon..." 'I save myself from stirring trouble for her. Now I have to pretend that I don't want her to move.'

Cheng Ze looked at her, "You found a house already? You don't mess about, do you? So should I take Sofia there or you'll pick her up here?"
