Love Will Lead You Back

"I can tell Cheng Ze really loves you. How long have you been married? 6 years?" Feng Mian asked as she sipped her wine.

"Ahh... That..." she touched her hair gently, not knowing what to tell them, as she is trapped in a beautiful lie, "Well, about that—"

"I knew it. Your daughter must be 5? That Cheng Ze! I didn't know he has a very l.u.s.tful mind towards you." Xi Yiyi laughed as she thought about the past and how they were like.

Ji An was speechless. She can't admit the truth now. The three of them thought they were together, married and a love child together.

"How is he in bed? I bet he's good!" Ying Yue blurted out suddenly. As always, she was thoughtless.

Xi YiYi and Feng Mian looked at Ying Yue then they all looked at Ji An wanting to know her answer.

Ji An was fl.u.s.tered. "Huh? Well, he is... Good? I think?" Her face blushed as she answered them, feeling all shy and embarrassed.

Suddenly, Cheng Ze spoke, "Why do you ask my wife that huh? Of course, I'm good. How can I create such a masterpiece if I'm not good?" boasting about his daughter Sofia and messing with them.

Ji An doesn't know what to do, she wanted Cheng Ze to stay with her but Cheng Ze was with Li Wei doing barbecue in the garden, "Let's go to the garden. Barbecue is nearly done," informing them so they'll go out. "I'll go and get mum, dad and Sofia too." As he headed to the living room.

All of them were outside and they are all having fun drinking, eating and chatting. They didn't notice the time and it was already half 8. Also, Ji An was a bit tipsy already as she had a lot of drinks. Cheng Ze had a lot of beer but he didn't get himself drunk. He asked Li Wei to take Ji An's friend's home and also asked Madam Gu to take Sofia home with them. His excuse was because Ji An was in no state of looking after her tonight.

Meiling have the intriguing look in her eyes, "How about you Cheng Ze? Are you planning to stay with her or are you going home?"

"Yes Ma!" it was the first time he had called her Ma and she wasn't expecting that, he seemed happy and in the mood. "I will stay here with her." he looked at her straight in her eyes assuring her that everything is good.

Madam Gu didn't say anything. But before she left. She told him, "Do anything you like with her. Make sure to marry her before she finds out." she then exited the house.

'What does she mean?' With that question in his head, he chased her out and ask the question straight away, "What do you mean?"

Madam Gu inhaled deeply, "Gu Feng darling, take Sofia to the car." As soon as the pair got in the car, "I already know what you did. I am angry at you. But my anger cannot fix the problem. You will have to fix it." Glaring at him before she smiled tenderly.

"What are you talking about?" he was curious to know what Meiling is up to and what she was talking about.

She walked towards him so only them will hear what she was about to say, her voice was low, "Don't play dumb Cheng Ze. You slept with her and bore your child. I know that you already knew the truth. Otherwise, why will you behave like this? You even told her friends you two are married? Very lousy Cheng Ze. She deserves better than that. Marry her." Patting his c.h.e.s.t gently as she smiled then she turned around ready to leave and head to the car.

Shocked with Meiling's revelation, he wanted to know more, "How did you find out? When?"

"DNA of course! Let's talk when you have time, your father is waiting for me." And was about to leave  Cheng Ze standing there in shock.

"Are you giving me your blessing? He asked before Madam Gu completely walks away from him.

With her back facing him, "I already said, marry her. I'll deal with the other things. Cancel your engagement with Shen."

He walked closer to Meiling, "I cannot tell her the truth yet."

"Then when are you planning to tell her then? When you run out of time?" Frowning as she faced him.

"When she accepted me? I don't want her to run away from me. Please, don't tell her yet. I'll do it my way." With his eyes pleading her.

Madam Gu looked straight in to his eyes, "Do it fast. She already loves you. Another grandchild can be a solution." She smiled wickedly, not waiting for his reply, she left and entered their car.

Cheng Ze stood there in disbelief with his mouth agape, 'Is she really her mother?'

Ji An was in the couch lying down, she was really drunk and can barely stand up on her own. Cheng Ze came back after sending Madam Gu out. "Just how much did you drink? You truly are a bad drinker. If I really want to, I can just do it right now, right here." he sighed.

"Cheng Ze," she called for him.

Cheng Ze lift her head gently and sat down placing her head in his l.a.p, "What is it?" His voice was very gentle.

"Did you know I had a crush on you the first time I saw you? I thought you were really handsome and still is to this day." Truly drunk people speaks the truth.

What she said made him smile and he laughed, "Really? I thought it's just me who fell in love that day."

"I have been loving you on my own since I was 13. I couldn't tell you because I was afraid that you will reject me and not like me. You were treating me so nice like your little sister, and girls shouldn't confess to boys, right?" She sighed heavily.

Cheng Ze laughed at her, "I felt the same." he c.a.r.e.s.sed her face. "I loved you since the day you move next door— No.. Since you got off from your car that day. The moment I laid my eyes on you, I knew you are the one for me." He smiled at her as he remembered the past.
