Love Will Lead You Back

Cheng Ze followed Ji An and gently fixed some strands of her damp hair, "Oh yes and I could watch it every day and every night, to be honest." He then touched her face and with his thumb, he lightly brushed it on her lips. As his face leaned closer to her face Ji An become somewhat edgy but anticipated his next move. He noticed her unusual behaviour and asked, "Do you want me to kiss you right now?"

Her words got stuck on her throat and stared at his lips and opened her mouth slightly. Cheng Ze didn't waste any time and sealed her lips, after all, it was a good opportunity to miss.

After a few seconds, he let her lips go but was still holding her chin, "I know you love me," he said in a soft voice, "I just don't get it why you have to behave like this?"

Ji An moved away from him and turned her back on him, for a moment she let her guard down and accepted him with all her heart, however, she recovered quite fast, "For the last time Cheng Ze, I have a boyfriend!" She tried to conceal her emotion and hide her love for him but she was failing so hard.

"Why are you letting me kiss you?" he asked, "I know I'm in your heart, I can feel it. Just give me a chance. Spend your days with me while you are here. After that and you still don't want me, I'll let you go. I'm not going to chase you ever again. Just give me a chance to be with you."

"I'm here until Saturday. Do you have to stay here with me? Or we will just go out for dates? And no more kissing!" In the end, she gave in to her heart's d.e.s.i.r.e.

With furrowed eyes, he asked, "Does that mean..... yes?"

Ji An didn't answer, instead, she walked to the door and opened it, "I believe it's time for you to leave Mr Gu?" her eyebrows raised with a tinge of happiness in her face.

The next day, Cheng Ze picked her up from her hotel and took all her belongings and put them at the trunk of his car. He opened the door for her and even secured her with the seatbelt, "From now on, until you leave, we will be together." His smile was ear to ear and his happiness was visible. Anyone could tell he was over the moon.

Ji An was unsure about staying with him, but since it will be the last time they can be together, she let it go. 'Nothing is going to happen right?!' in her mind as she sat quietly. She then smiled at him before asking, "So where are we going?"

"I have an apartment for us to live in while you are here. We will stay together and I'll take you to the airport on Saturday." he held her hand and drive with the other, "That is of course if I couldn't change your mind." the smirk on his face as he glanced at her for a second.

She chuckled, "You know the possibility of us ending up together is close to zero." her laughter filled the car and took her hand off of his hand, "Why are you being like this? You are just making it hard for yourself."

Before she can successfully retract her hand, he grabbed it again and held it tight and brought it to his lips, "As you said, close to zero not completely zero" he smiled as he kissed her soft hand. "I'm not going to work this week. I'll spend all these days with you. You will have all of me for yourself, how does that sound to you hmm?"

They arrived at his villa, he actually bought that place to be his sanctuary whenever he wanted to be alone and away from his dad and stepmother. He used to stay there on his own whenever he was there but this time, he got her.

"Aren't we supposed to be staying in an apartment?" She was completely surprised, in her mind, they'll be arriving in some kind of tall buildings in the city. Where he brought her, it's the complete opposite and it was far from the city with a quiet neighbourhood.

He got out of the car first to open the door for Ji An, "Welcome to my humble home." It was clear that he was teasing her.

As they walked, Cheng Ze replied to Ji An's question earlier, "If I told you it's a villa you will not come with me. I really don't want to argue with you. I just want to have a peaceful and serene time with you. No fighting, no arguing. Just simply knowing more about each other and filling the lost time between us." As he finished his little speech, they reached the door and he keyed in the password for the house.

Their eyes locked in as they look at each other, it felt like their eyes did all the talking and they were lost in that magical moment. Cheng Ze lowered his gaze to her pink lips, he moved closer trying to resist those luscious lips and whispered something in Ji An's ear using his alluring voice, "I know you want me to kiss you, but your mouth will say no. I had promised you that I won't do it. So even if you are dying to kiss me, it's not going to happen." he teased Ji An before entering the house.

Ji An blushed, her cheeks warmed up, she knew he just teased her but surprisingly, she liked it. Suppressing her feelings for him was really hard and very challenging, especially when he does things like that she can easily be swayed by him.

As they got inside, the first thing that got her attention was the living space, it was too big for the two of them, then she paid attention to the interior, very modern and yet simple. Cheng Ze carried her luggage to their bedroom and Ji An explored the house unintentionally, She got drawn by the design of the house, it was similar to what she had in mind long ago.

She continued to explore the house and went to see the kitchen. It was a big kitchen filled with top quality kitchen appliances and utensils. As she looked at it, a memory flashed in her eyes, it's very similar to their old kitchen. Unknowingly, her lips curved into a smile.

Cheng Ze gave her a back hug. "Do you like it? It's the same layout as your kitchen but bigger than the one you have years ago. We have all the stuff for cooking so we don't have to leave the house. You have become my prisoner." His smile was plastered on his face, he was so happy it was uncontrollable.

"Cheng Ze...." her voice was soft and gentle, there was something she was itching to tell him but what came out from her mouth was completely different from what she has in mind.

"Hmm, what is it?" still hugging her and not letting her go.

"I'm hungry. I didn't have breakfast." she bit her lip and winked her eye.

He didn't see her face but he laughed, "Okay, I'll cook food for you. You just rest or maybe you want to check our room?"

'Our room?' she moved and removed his hand that was wrapped around her waist, "Okay, I'll go and have a look then." her lips smiled and he can tell she was teasing him.

She went upstairs and saw at least four doors. After opening the furthest one at the end which was empty, she opened the door at her left, but to her surprise, it's another empty room. The third door must be it, but it turned out to be a big family bathroom. There was the last door at the end of the hallway, the super king-sized bed greeted her, it seemed so soft and nice to lie down in. The wind blew from the open sliding door making the curtains move. The balcony has a nice view and breathes in fresh air.
