Loving With My Mind

Chapter 12 - Swimsuit

As they were eating, Zhao Mingzhe kept on placing dishes on his wife's plate.

"Zhao Mingzhe, are you trying to raise a pig?!" She loves food, but it was definitely too much. The food on the table is too much in the first place.

"You're my wife, not my daughter, and even if you are so, I'll not dare call you a pig." he calmly replied as he sipped on his glass of wine.

"Then why are you making me eat this much?" she slightly lifted her plate using a finger to emphasize her point.

He chuckled. "I don't want you hungry."

"So you want me fat?!" She raised an eyebrow and glared at him.

He eyed her figure, but was limited by the full dining table. "You're not fat." he stoically replied.

"Surely you would not even do this to your ex. She hot!" Her voice was daunting.

At that point, he placed down his chopsticks, then he wiped his mouth with the table napkin and stood up.

She stared at his movements and prayed for her life. She might have pissed him off for real.

She gulped as his tall figure bent down to face her.

"Can I ask you something?" his voice was calm.

"What...what is it?" her nervous face was at par with her voice.

"Have you seen my ex?" He raised his brow.

She frowned and found the courage to scold him again. "Of course! As you've already admitted, you were 'supporting' her by the elevators." she harrumphed proudly.

He snickered. "I told you that I was supporting Ms. Liang by the elevators that day. I never told you that she was my ex."

"But...but, who else would dare harrass you in your own company like that?!"

This time, he laughed. "Almost every single woman in the company has that in mind...but only a shameless actress like her would pull it off."

"Well I'm so sorry for your popularity." It was sarcastic on every tone.

Zhao Mingzhe is now squatting beside her chair. "My wife..." He placed his hand over hers. "My ex will remain in the past. All the other women are nothing. I will not betray you." His brows are together but he looked sincere.

Han Yixin remained silent as she contemplated.

She sighed before she said, "But you don't love me."

He sighed. "For now...Han Yixin, we can only try. Since we're already married, I believe that we can only try to get know each other, be more comfortable around each other. We may not be head over heels on each other right now, but I believe that one can learn to love another if he wants to."

"Heh..." she snickered. "If love is something I could learn, then how come my parents did not pay a hefty sum for someone to teach me?" her voice was mocking him.

He smiled patiently at her. "Well, their gifts for the wedding was quite expensive too."

She realized that she jumped into his trap, so she played along. "Should I call you 'Teacher' then?"

He laughed and pulled on her arm so she stands with him. Then he pulled her even more into his warm embrace. The cool wind blew at the veranda, but the hug was too warm for them to notice.

Han Yixin was startled when he tried to lift her.

"Where are we going?" she asked.

"Back inside the room. You might catch a cold here." He frowned as he rubbed his palm on her cold exposed arms.

"But...but I'm not done eating!" she protested.

He heartily laughed and laid her back to her seat. They continued eating until they were really full.

Zhao Mingzhe then called for a staff to clean up the dining area.

As he was doing so, he saw his wife lounging at the sofa, but staring at the pool.

"Hey, you wanna dip in?" It was really obvious that she was eyeing their private pool multiple times already.

She pouted. "I did not bring a swimsuit." she declared.

Of course, she had yet to see the closet full of clothes he had prepared for her.

He smiled, then took her wrist and gently tugged her to come along with him.

When they came into the walk-in closet, her eyes widened. Even hers would not contain this much clothes.

"I...I found the u.n.d.e.r.g.a.r.m.e.n.ts there awhile ago, maybe you can check..." he pointed towards a drawer.

She glared at him to shut him up. She walked up towards the drawers. Then without looking back at him, she said, "Can you go out please." she was really pleading for him to have some shame.

"Oh...sorry!" He went out immediately after realizing what she meant.

He grabbed a bottle of water and downed its contents.

He contemplated if he needs coffee.

After some time, she shyly came out wearing a pink velvet robe, blushing.

He only stared for awhile then said, "You can enter the pool first. I'll just change." He immediately went into the closet.

She heaved a sigh of relief. Then she eyed the pool. It looks so inviting.

Checking if he was nowhere in sight, she gently removed her robe and revealed a moss green one-piece halter swimsuit which has a low back, with the halter tie continuing to crisscross at the back to connect the sides.

She excitedly dipped in her toes. After feeling that the temperature is alright, she proceeded to sink her body into the pool.

Little did she know that he has been watching since she dipped her toes in, admiring her.

Zhao Mingzhe looked at his wife. Her figure is not spectacular, nor too skinny like a model.

He rubbed his chin as he kept staring. She had a lot of insecurities, but he has to give it to her that she has curves in all the right places.

He chuckled as he showed himself as he walked near the pool.

"How's the water?" he asked.

She quickly turned in the water, splashing some water into his face.

And with that, her alluring image in his eyes had been washed out.
