Loving With My Mind

Chapter 52 - Break Up

Donna Yang frowned as she sat up from the bed. She can still hear the relaxed breathing of the flesh lying next to her.

Last night, as if old sparks were lit, she succ.u.mbed to the alluring presence of her husband.

Indeed, he is still her husband. There was nothing wrong with sleeping with him, yet she felt guilty.

The furrow in her brows deepened as she contemplated how to tell her fiancé that she is still married. She needs to break up with him as soon as possible. Who knows how much crazy stuff her husband is planning to do.

Suddenly, strong arms pulled her back to lie down, landing on a muscular torso.

"Hey! You..."

She was stopped by a kiss on the lips.

Donna Yang gave it her all to pull back and breathe. "Are you trying to kill me?!"

Thomas Leung chuckled. "What are you thinking so early in the morning?"

He used two fingers to part he brows. Then he kissed her nose, making a loud smacking sound. "Good morning." his voice was charming.

Donna Yang bit her lip to prevent the smile. She could not believe that this sly fox's tricks still work on her.

"Thomas Leung!" she snapped at him.

"What?!" he chuckled. "But really...it's a first that you're in deep thoughts in the morning."

Then his face lit up and he suddenly reached out to the bedside table. He took out a poker chip from the drawer. "Penny for your thoughts?"

She frowned at him, moved her line of vision to the drawer, then back at him. "Don't you only have c.o.n.d.o.ms in there? What's with the chip?"

Thomas Leung laughed heartily. His wife can really give the darnest remark.

"I bet a lot these days..." he snickered.

She looked at him with contempt. "Yeah, yeah...you're loaded. You don't have to remind me."

He chuckled. "Well, my wife has been away for more than a year, so I did save a lot."

"You..."

"Heh, but during my last game, I bet the result with whether I can get you back." His eyes dimmed and his smile became bitter.

Indeed, absence makes the heart grow fonder. Donna Yang felt guilty with his expression.

Yet she brushed it off and hurriedly got off the bed. She habitually went into their walk in closet, to be surprised.

Her old clothes are gone! All female clothes, hanged and folded, including bags and shoes are all unrecognizable to her.

"Thomas Leung!" she called out.

He almost stumbled to hurriedly come when she called. "What's wrong?"

"How dare you tell me all that drama of not signing the divorce papers when you kept another woman here! You're disgusting!" Donna Yang threw a handbag towards him.

Thomas Leung raised his arm to block the bag which was going straight to his face. His wife is scary! The buckle ornament grazed his skin and a red linear wound started to bleed.

"Jerk!" Donna Yang was seething as she wiped tears from her cheeks which she failed to control.

Thomas Leung was bearing the pain as he looked at her sternly. "Donna Yang, just because you can easily move on and change boy toys by the season does not mean that I am capable of doing the same." His voice was still considered calm, but his words bear weight.

Donna Yang was still angry. She opened a drawer, took out a lacy, almost full see-through red p.a.n.t.i.e.s and threw it at him, this time successfully hitting his face. "These are not mine!"

Thomas Leung caught the u.n.d.e.r.w.e.a.r which fell after hitting his face, which became more gloomy.

"Just because you don't recognize it, doesn't mean it's not yours."

"Thomas Leung! I am not stupid! I did not get amnesia for me to forget that everything in here are not mine! You can't fool me and you can't trick me to wear another woman's clothes! Disgusting!"

His face shifted from irritation to sadness. "Very well, I will get the helpers to throw them all out, but you have to wait until next season for any clothes."

With that, he turned around and walked away.

Donna Yang felt like she was drenched in cold water. She looked over the clothes again. They were the latest season collections of different designers, including u.n.d.e.r.w.e.a.r and accessories. Some of them are yet to be released in the local market, the rest was almost fresh off the runway.

It was impossible that another woman had been wearing them over the past few days.

'Did he...buy me new clothes?' she contemplated.

As she turned to go after him, her foot hit the bag she threw at him earlier. She picked it up and noted that there was some discoloration at the ornament. Her fingers instinctively touched it and caught the red liquid.

She placed the bag back to the shelf and went to look for her husband.

Han Yixin gasped as she had the first look of her new haircut. When her locks started to fall off from where the scissors went, she closed her eyes until the dr.a.p.ed cape was taken off.

"Well, if you're not happy, we can only go shorter." Dorothy looked irritated because her client looked mortified.

Dorothy takes pride in her work, and she asked the client to be specific about her preferences. 'So, why does this woman look like she regrets this look?' she thought.

Suddenly, Han Yixin shifted her expression to a smirk. "No. This is perfect." she remarked.

"Okay then." Dorothy packed her things swiftly.

Han Yixin stood up from the dresser chair as well. "Thank you, Miss Dorothy." Han Yixin made a slight bow.

"Hey, drop the 'miss'! I'm not a rich heir and it makes me feel old."

Han Yixin could not help but smile. "Alright. Thanks, Dorothy!" she corrected.

"Just doing my job. I'll be off then!" Dorothy waved her hand and strode out of the room. She then understood the CEO. His wife could be adorable.

Han Yixin took a deep breath as she walked towards her husband and mother-in-law, who were still chatting.

She touched the side of her head. Her hair was really short! She looks like someone who just went through a break up.

"I'm back."

They turned to face her.
